They were easy to get ahold of and made the process very easy. They came on time and did a great job, and I did not even have to be there! I have not yet received any information regarding gutter guards, but am guessing I will get that in the mail. Very happy with their work!

Installation was done on time and quickly. However a problem developed that caused pollen and other debris to build up clogging the gutter guards. After few attempts to get the manager to correct the problem he did to my satisfaction.

Used a big deal for Mind in the Gutter to come out, as gutters were overflowing. I did not even know they'd come out, as there was absolutely no sign....no leaves or debris on the ground or deck. Service was performed when I was not home. A couple of days later, after a big storm, the gutter right over the front door was pouring water. I called the company to make sure they had come out, and the owner described my house perfectly from notes the crew had taken. He offered to send the crew back out the next day to see if the storm had blown something into the gutter. Crew came right out, removed the debris from the storm and did not charge me. They are polite, professional, and give you so much more than what you pay!

Service was easy to schedule. They showed up on time. Got right to work and finished the job quickly. Will call them the next time the gutters need cleaning.

Mind in the Gutter representatives were very professional and prompt throughout the process. They arrived on time and start working on the gutters as scheduled. They were very professional and quick. I asked them to give us a price quote for new gutters with leaf guards. Their quote was competitive. I would recommend this company to anyone who is planning to replace their gutters or just wants to get them cleaned.

My Husband cleaned all the gutters execpt a 20 foot section, when the guy from mind in the gutter arrived I told him this, and asked him to check the down spouts to make sure they were not clogged.He said he would pour water down them to be sure,I went in side and came out 10 mins later to see how the down spouts were...he was gone.. no sign that water was ever used! so we spent $80.00 so the service that was less then stellar...I WOULD NEVER USE THESE GUYS AGAIN!!

Two workers arrived as scheduled. Worked efficiently and completed the job in about an hour. Removed and carried away the defective gutter guards. Removed several wasp hives and lots of debris from the gutters. The gutters are now performing perfectly!

They were absolutely amazing! They took a lot of time and actually did most of the work by hand; quite a contrast to Nathan's who literally blew through with a blower and were out of here in ten minutes.

We had a coupon from groupon for this service. Our gutters have covers over them. They wanted to clean gutters without cleaning under the covers. I remember that m y husband had to argue with them about this, even after showing them the coupon. They finally did clean the gutters and flipped the covers up so they could get under them. Having to argue with service providers is a real turn off.

We had to schedule about 3-4 weeks out due to it being a busy time and the response from the big deal which was a little unfortunate and I didn't have any other options since I purchased the deal. However they showed up when scheduled, cleaned the gutters and downspouts and removed all debris. I didn't have to be home which was a plus. I did request a quote for gutter guards and was told they would do it, however I never received any followup communication on price or quote so I never had them install them.

Very easy process. Paid via Angie's list with the available coupon price; gentleman called my husband back promptly and I would not have even known they were there if it hadn't rained hard shortly afterward. The "waterfall" that had been coming from our upper gutter was gone, and everything was flowing properly around the house.

They are prompt and they clean up after themselves. They are reasonably priced even through when I don't have a big deal. The big deal thing is good, but they are not outrageous anyway. The original Mind In The Gutter that I went with sold out to another company. The new company kept the name; but when they came in for the first time, I had some problem. The young guy came out and he blew stuff out of the gutter through all my bushes & everything out. I was pretty thick, so I didn't use them and I went with somebody else. Then I went back to them and I called them. I told them what happened and the guy said they were new, trainee people and it would never happen again. He really made sure that the service was improved. I am really happy with them. I pay them $85 for a yearly agreement. It sounded fine to me. They meet all my expectations.

I called to set up the appointment and they gave me the first available appointment. The guys show up when promised, do the work and depart. Unless you know see the when they show up you's never know they were there. They clean up after themselves and do a great job.

They did a good job. It took about two weeks for them to come do the job from the time we set the appointment. Other than that they were quick and neat.

Great company to deal with. I purchased a gutter cleaning through Angie's list. I called Ethan Powers to set an appointment. He showed on the day he said he would, but gutters were frozen. Ethan called and left a message about the gutters, and rescheduled for the next day, Friday. On Friday, we had freezing rain. Ethan again called to let me know he could not do the job on that day and rescheduled for Monday. His crew showed on Monday, cleaned the gutters, and left no debris. He did what he said he was going to do. You can't ask for anything better. Would I use his company again... Yes! Because he did exactly what he said he was going to do, he would be my first call if I needed anything gutter related in the future. Again, great company to deal with!

The team arrvied on time and spent about an hour cleaning out the gutters. The team cleaned up the gutters and cleaned off my deck of fallen leaves. They were timely and efficient.

Found Mind In The Gutter through Angie's list after looking at multiple companies for a regular gutter cleaning regimen. I was initially disappointed that there wasn't a lower-cost, high-quality in the Richmond area, but chose Mind In The Gutter based on their ability to fit me into their schedule and ratings from other users. This December appointment was the second time I'd used them (initial appointment was in the spring), and although I was happy with the end result, I was a bit frustrated that they did not perform the cleaning on the initial date that we'd agreed to. I came home that day to find that the gutters were still visibly clogged, and I left a message on their voicemail. The owner was apologetic, said that they were not able to get to me that day, and would be out first thing the next day; this was partially due to weather conditions. I would have been more understanding if I had been given advanced notice or a voicemail that they weren't able to get to me as scheduled, and I didn't like having to call them to get an update. However, they rectified it as soon as they could, and they did a good job. Given how clogged my gutter gets, definitely worth hiring an outside group twice a year to clean things up. Update 6/21/2013: Mind In The Gutter missed an appointment again without advance explanation. Left a voicemail asking for an update, and didn't get one within 24 hours. For the price of their service, pretty disappointing and this is now the second time they haven't stuck to their appointment. They always seem to be stretched way too thin. Was very disappointed that I didn't even get a call back with an update. Let them know we are going to look elsewhere for gutter cleaning.

I was very satisfied. After seeing their listing on Angie's List I called to discuss and the job/price/ and process. The office representative was very professional, asked the right questions to understand the scope of the job site, and scheduled me at the earliest avalable date. I knew I had some gutter and facia problems and also asked the rep to include an assessment of the condition of my gutters and provide an estimate for correcting the problems. During the interval between the original phone call and the scheduled work date we had several heavy rain and snow days. The day before the job the rep called and explained that the weather issues had forced delays in their work schedule and asked to schedule another date. I believed the request to be reasonable and agreed to a subsequent date for the work to be conducted. On that date the work crew arrived at the agreed upon time, discussed the job with me and expeditiously carried out their assigment. They then asked me to walk around the house with them while they explained their assessment of the condition of the gutters and wood and recommendations for remediation. Throughout the job the work crew was courteous. The leader of the crew that discussed their assessment appeared knowledgeable and reasonably described the processes that they would use to complete any remediation work that they would conduct. As promised, I received a reasonably detailed written estimate in the mail within a few days. This was a positive experience and I recommend the company to anyone in need of gutter services.
