Mind In The Gutter

The crew met me at the agreed-upon time, were friendly and professional and went right to work. They took away the debris and left my lawn clean. The only challenge was with my old metal gutter grates. These are tough to reconnect to the gutters and the crew didn't do a very good job reconnecting them. However, given how tough they are, I am not unhappy with the job they did.

I was so impressed with Mind in the Gutter. Their estimate was hundreds less than competitors, and they did a fantastic job. It looks great! Very professional.

Not only did they clean my gutters (which were horrible - actually had little trees growing out of them!), they also cleaned my deck and blew the leaves off of my front porch and two very long driveways!!! This was way above the expected service. And they were very quick and quiet. They were almost magical. Most definitely one company I will use again and again.

We set the date well in advance, scheduled for Monday Dec. 9. I carefully saved that day. The day before, there was a lot of rain. I emailed the provider and asked if they would still be coming. Since I got no answer, I called at 9:02 on Monday morning. I left a message. No response and no one came. At 11:00, I called again. This time, Ethan Powers answered the phone and told me that "of course" they wouldn't be coming. I told him I would have appreciated a call. He seemed flustered and surprised. We rescheduled for Friday. A crew of two arrived about 20 minutes later than expected and expressed concern that they wouldn't be able to do the job if there was too much ice. Fortunately, they were able to clean them, finished in less than half an hour, and cleaned up after themselves. I'm not sure I wouldn't use them again, but they certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

They were on time and did the job in timely fashion. We were pleased with the finished product and with the company.

It was fine. I like that they came on the day that they said they would come. I was out of town when they came and I was happy to come home to clean gutters. I didn't spend anything extra and they were here sometime in September.

The staff were on time and were quirt, neat in their job performance, and did not not leave any trash.

Well...I think they did a good job. We had a death in the family three days before they were to come and I left a message to delay it one week and when I called the next week when we got back home, they said they already did it. They did NOT listen to my message. I am not happy about this.

I was able to provide 3 dates to clean the gutters, and they came on one of them. The 'B' on responsiveness was only b/c the page noted that upon purchasing we would be contacted within 48hrs; however, since it was an outside/outdoor job it wasn't a big deal. Both men were professional, friendly, and punctual. Gutters were completely cleared and great! We were pleased and would use them again with a great deal.

My biggest issue was the last of communication. They waited til the end of the day to tell me they werent going to make it. I took the day from work to meet them at the house. Their response was, we can go first thing in the morning and you dont have to be present. They didnt leave a note when they finally came. My neighbor told me. Just not what I expected from Angie's List recommendations.

After a false start (I did not realize that I had to contact Mind in the Gutter), I called the company to set up an appointment. Very friendly guy on the other end of the line. He picked out the first convenient date and told me that I did not actually have to be home. Our son said that he arrived right on time on the appointed date , did the work as promised, and left. Since it involved gutter cleaning, I expected to see the flowerbeds or the deck covered with debris from the gutters, but no such thing. I was completely delighted with the service, and I will definitely use these folks again.

It turned out fine. They came and did the work. It was fine and they did a good job. They didn't talk to me at all. They just knocked on the door and said that they were here to do the gutters. Anything I noticed that was in the gutters, they removed. They just did it and didn't say anything about it. If I had another coupon deal with them, I would use them again. I probably wouldn't if I knew something was wrong and I needed help with it.

They were very good. They were prompt, they had good communication and they did the job as advertised.

We have used "Mind in the Gutter" before (2/28/13) and were satisfied with their work last time, so when we saw a "Big Deal" from them for gutter cleaning, we purchased it. Their work in August was just like their work in February: Perfect. They came, they cleaned all the gutters on our two story house, they bagged all the refuse and left everything perfectly clean and they were gone. No noise, no hassle, they came out and did a great job.

They were timely, fast and professional.

Horrible experience. I stayed home from work to be there while the gutters were cleaned. Two young guys came out, were at my home for about 2 minutes, stuck an invoice on my door, and left before I could even meet them outside. I knew there was no way they could have cleaned the gutters so quickly, so I went on my roof to verify. I called the owner, who was confident his guys had cleaned them, and had him come out and go on the roof with me, and he indicated the gutter cleaning was clearly not done. The owner and the two original guys ended up cleaning the gutters later that afternoon and did not charge me. The company was dishonest and had not performed the work they invoiced for, inconvenienced me for a full day, caused me to go on my rooft 3 times in one day, but did in the end try to make it right. However, I will not being calling Mind in The Gutter again.

They were very courteous and they even called the initial day and they let me know due to the rain and wind that they would come the next day. The gutters were very nice and clean on a second story home and they were very professional to work with. The work was well worth the cost as well.

Scheduling was easy, and the technicians arrived on time. I was expecting a bit more from the cleaning than what was performed. They cleared some leaves and debris from the gutters, but didn't get all of the debris out of the gutters. I was up on my roof a week or two later and there was still a significant amount of debris left in the gutters. They also did not clean up the exterior of the gutters at all and stated that this was an additional cost. I feel like for the price paid, they could have wiped the exterior of the gutters. They also did not clean up the debris after removing it from the gutters, so I had debris laying all around my house. In particular, there was debris on my front driveway, back porch, and on top of my air conditioner units. It would have taken them another few minutes to go around the house and sweep up the debris. The technicians were not the most professional people nor the most friendly that I've dealt with. Overall, I think it was way overpriced for the 15 minutes of mediocre gutter cleaning. I will not use this service again.

Added 10 feet hose to downspout. Charged too much for that.
