Mind In The Gutter

We weren't really happy with them. They just didn't do what we had asked them to do. They were still with in payment. They did the very basics of what we had purchased. Because our house is a 3 storeyed 1900 house, we have a tough time getting up onto the roof. Because they had to get up onto the roof to fix some gutters and clean them out, we had asked them to at least tell us, does the roof look okay or does it look like there are any issues? All it was was a courtesy piece. They didn't do that. They didn't even check in with my husband when they left the site. The other piece was, while I am sure they cleaned the gutters, they did not check in with my husband and the gutters still have an issue like the rain will completely bypass the gutter. We don't know why. It could be because they instead of going the way we had suggested up onto the roof, they went up and put a 45ft or 50ft ladder up against the house, which means there was a 40ft ladder up against the gutters and may have bent it out of shape. But it is so high and I can't tell. The $179 was it. It was a fair price for what they did especially being as high up as our roof is. We still have an issue so I can't tell how well they did. They could closeout with us. They could have come back and given us feedback on what they saw.

Initially gave an estimate for a gutter clean and some repairs. Cleaned the gutters well, but did not do the repairs yet charged us for the repairs. Will not respond to voicemails or email. Simply would like what was paid for, or a partial refund.

They showed up on the scheduled day and did the work. When I returned home the job was complete and there was scarcely a sign that they had been, except the clean gutters.

After some hit and miss on the phone calls and appointments mostly due to weather, the gentlemen arrived to clean the gutters in a clearly marked business vehicle. They went right to work with a ladder and a water hose. I watched them move around the house and was generally pleased until I noticed they had left without telling me they had finished. I had an area where water ran heavily OUT of the gutter and wanted to see if they noticed on their cleaning any abnormalities so I waited to ask once they had seen the gutters. I went around the house myself at this point and notice several dry downspouts. I called the business number to ask about this because the job seemed INcomplete. To their credit, they did come back out the same day to make sure water ran through all of the downspouts and gave me a chance to ask about the problem area I had. A problem was found and further work was recommended. I dealt with the owner about additional work. After many attempts to reach him after the initial contact, he came out to see the problem area and give me a quote. (gutter/fascia pulling away) The repair wasn't done the way he described it would be done so I am not sure if all is done correctly as I cannot get to the roof and gutter to see, but the water does NOT run out heavily as before. Again, the workers left without telling me they had completed the repair so they could explain and show what was done, answer any questions I had. etc. I had to call the business number AGAIN to have them relay the message to them and contact me about the resolution.

They came when they said they would (there's some backlog, they weren't able to be here for a few weeks, so call ahead), charged a completely reasonable price, and were done quickly. They left NO additional mess, and I watched them carefully clean up (leaf blower, etc) all of the gutter debris that came down. Gutters are flowing now, and that's good for my house.

The crew was very professional and courteous. The job was over faster then I expected because there were several crew members. They were attentive to detail and careful with the plant beds as well as the deck.

I contacted the minds in the gutter the week prior to the appointment (appointment was for 1/14/15) to confirm. The time and date was confirmed. I took off from work on 1/14, but they never showed up. I never heard anything from them after the time I called to confirm the appointment.

Went very well, was very pleased with the gutters that were installed on my house. They were done within a few hours and the price was very reasonable, I will definitely use this company again if I need them in the future.

They performed the job exactly as expected. When we returned home in the evening, the gutters were clean, very little debris from the cleaning was in our flower beds and the bill was exactly what they said it would be. They went out of their way to work us into their schedule, which I really appreciated.
