Classic Granite & Marble

We recently made a decision to purchase new Quartz countertops for our kitchen. We looked at a few different options and decided to purchase from Home Depot. Home Depot in the Richmond VA area use Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) as their suppler. Immediately after making the purchase, we were contacted by CGM to set up an appointment with their templator to verify the measurements we had provided. The templator Johnny as communicated to us called before arriving and brought sophisticated equipment to verify the countertop measurements. Johnny was very efficient, and professional. Next, we were contacted by CGM to inquire if we desired to inspect the slab of quartz that would be used to manufacture our countertops. We indicated that we did, and an appointment was scheduled. When arriving at the CGM we were very impressed with the facility, the large amount of inventory, the state-of-the-art equipment and the knowledge and customer service we received from Aylissa. The installation date was set and lead by installer Adan and his assistant, the install went great. Overall, the experience with CGM was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone we worked with from CGM was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and professional. We would highly recommend CGM.

My wife and I are very happy with the quartz countertops purchased at Classic Granite (CG). We bought countertops for two bathroom vanities, a wet bar and the kitchen. Precious Coles was our initial contact with CG. We met her at a demonstration kiosk at Costco. She was knowledgeable and very effective getting our attention and furthering our interest. Andrew Boone, our point for sale contact, was very accommodating with our schedule. He demonstrated a considerable amount of patience as we went back and forth looking at the different designs. Stephen Moore, CG templator, arrived on time, quickly took measurements resulting in a perfect fit during installation. Alfredo’s team was professional, timely, and provided an excellent job installing the numerous countertops for our project.

CGM was awesome from start to finish and would highly recommend! While we got connected with them via purchasing our countertops through Home Depot, without doubt any countertop needs we have in the future we would just go directly to them. Our kitchen design necessitated an incredibly high level of craftsmanship to look great and they nailed it. From our PM (Grace), to our templater, to our install crew, everyone was both highly responsive and incredibly friendly/courteous. Really can't praise them enough for the whole experience of working with them.

We visited Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) several times over the course of our kitchen project (due to appliance and cabinet manufacturer delays, we had extra time to shop). Initially, we were just getting an idea of our options in kitchen counter materials and looking at selections of colors and patterns. Since time was on our side, we also visited several other granite showrooms in our quest for the perfect slab. However, each time, we came back to CGM due to their selection, professionalism, and price. Kelly Rodriguez eagerly met us each time we visited the showroom. At the beginning/conception stage of our project, she kept detailed notes on our likes and dislikes as she showed us the various materials and patterns. When it was finally time to make our selection, Kelly was able to help us hone in on our likes and wants and found us the perfect slabs. Kelly coordinated with our cabinet designer to collect the schematics of our plan and ensure our counters were measured and cut to perfection. Kelly also organized all the moving parts of our install. The process was almost too easy. The counters are absolutely perfect. We could not be happier with CGM's professionalism, price, quality, and service. We highly recommend Classic Granite & Marble to anyone in the market for quality stones at affordable prices topped with impeccable service.

The kind girl(s) I emailed back and forth with were patient in my requests for pics of various slabs until I could settle on one. They checked in several times before making cuts to ensure we were all on the same page. The installers did a great job! I’m very happy with our new countertops!

After careful consideration we chose Classic Granite & Marble to install our quartz countertops, under mount stainless steel sink and Kohler faucet. I am happy to say that we are completely satisfied. The two installers (Alfredo & Helder) were professional and courteous. I was not at home but I was able to communicate and watch the installation process via my Ring camera. The (CADCAM) measuring and cutting of the quartz was exact and we don't have any gaps between the countertop, stove and refrigerator. There is one seam which is located at the midway point of the sink that is hardly noticeable. The other side is which includes the backsplash is hidden by the touchless faucet (which looks like a work of art). Last but certainly not least, our salesman (Andrew Boone) arrived at our home and he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He addressed our concerns and searched the internet for pictures of kitchens that showcased our countertop selection (Pietra). Andrew took preliminary measurements in order to give us the cost for our project. However, he did inform us that the cost might change if the final measurements indicated that we would need more quartz. Immediately, I thought that this was their way of getting more money out of us but that did not happen. Finally, we are very happy with our experience and we highly recommend them. Brian & Sabrina

Everything went great. We absolutely love our counters! One corner needed to be rounded and they came out to fix it soon after I reached out to them. We would use them again in the future.

We are extremely pleased with our new Cambria quartz vanity countertop. We wandered into the showroom without an appointment but the intake desk located a sales account manager who could meet with us after finishing with another client. That gave us time to look around and the Cambria quartz caught our eye. In a short time, Kelly became available and we discussed the pros and cons of different surfaces. Our heart was set on the quartz and when Kelly said she thought there was a remnant (discounted) piece that would suit our small job perfectly, we were sold. The delivery was delayed two days because of understandable issues but once it arrived the installation went very quickly and was done in about 30 minutes. The result is beautiful and we will use Classic Granite and Marble for our next project…a kitchen update!

The CGM team exceeded our expectations! Excellent installation and customer service. Very good pricing even when priced against other local competing companies. Quality of stone is awesome. We love how the countertops came out. They were very professional and always did what they said they would. The installers came and did their thing and we couldn’t believe how efficient they were in getting the job done. You couldn’t even tell they had been there.

Their laser measurement and CAD technology makes sure that the final product fits including all the plumbing connections. I contracted with Andy at Classic Granite and Marble to install granite in my kitchen and marble in my bathroom. I expected them to show me small samples of their stone but WOW Brittney took me into the warehouse and out into the yard to pick the exact slabs they would be using. Her expertise in the granites and marbles was amazing, she knew every slab by name and the cost of each off the top of her head. I picked the specific slabs I wanted and Brittney suggested that the vein running through the slab would be best on the island in my kitchen and she was absolutely correct. The day came when the granite and marble were to be installed, being me I am always afraid something would go wrong. Gio and his co-worker came in, looked things over and started their installation. They carried in each piece and set them in place, taking extra time to make sure that every piece was level and checking that they were fitted exactly in line by using a razor blade across the line where they were fitted and adjusting until they were perfect. I highly recommend Classic Granite and Marble for all your countertop needs.

I was blown away by the attention to detail and courtesy shown by Sarah and Whit during this entire process, both before and after installation. Sarah made sure I never felt rushed or pressured to select my counter tops, and Whit went above and beyond to work with my schedule during a challenging time period (pandemic, moving, and the holidays). Plus we had an added curveball of needing to level the surfaces out before the installation could move forward. They handled it all gracefully and quickly. I’m so in love with my kitchen and so grateful to them for their patient and knowledgeable guidance. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

We visited numerous showrooms in Harrisonburg, Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia. Classic Granite and Marble in Midlothian, VA had by far the largest selection of full sized slabs of Granite, Marble and Quartz. They had several slabs of the unique Quartz that we wanted for our kitchen counter top. Buddy Hiatt was knowledgeable, experienced and courteous as our Sales Rep. The quartz cost was considerably lower than that of all the other quotes. We were very satisfied with the process, and I have recommended Classic Granite and Marble to friends. On our project, we removed the wooden window sill and replaced it with Quartz that matched the counter top. It adds a unique look to the kitchen.

The entire process was easy and pleasant. The selection of product is incredible. Everyone from the office staff, sales and installation were great. We were extremely pleased with the final product. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Kelly at Classic was fantastic to work with!! We had to re-select materials due to a crack in our original slab choice, and she was patient and helpful as we looked at lots of different choices. She had good advice as we marked out the template and the finished product turned out beautifully! I highly recommend!!

CGM was the best part of my entire kitchen remodel! Shawn was so helpful when he came to template, CC answered all of my gazillion questions and my installers were timely and super efficient. I can’t wait to use CGM again!

Perfect which is unusual in remodeling

I was really impressed with everyone in the process. The Project Manager was Heather, who insured that everything ran smooth without any issues. Brandon came out and measured the kitchen and identified a light switch and plug that needed to be repositioned on the wall. Luis came in and did an excellent job installing the new stone. The new sink, faucet, and cooktop were a perfect fit. The area was cleaned very well when the job was finished. All the work was done in a courteous and professional manner by everyone involved in this process. I would definitely recommend this company.
