Excellent!

Everything went great!!

Once this company has your money you no longer matter to them. I had several problems with them. Most importantly, we paid for high end granite (Level D) counters and the counter was installed with a huge crack in a corner, in the most prominent place in the kitchen. Two days later a worker leaned on the corner and it broke completely off. The general manager's response was basically, "It's not our fault." We bought a home that needed a complete kitchen renovation. We went with Classic Granite based on our contractor's recommendation. The first negative issue was that they will not install any sinks except their own. We had a brand new high quality sink, and we basically had to trash it in order to purchase a counter from this company. They give you a "free" sink, and if you want a better quality one you have to buy it from them. When looking at the "free" sinks in the showroom, they appeared cheap, and some even had dents in them. We decided to purchase their better sink, which ended up costing an extra $500, which is the full retail price of that particular sink. They wouldn't even give us credit for the supposedly "free" sink that we weren't using. Then, the sales girl said we'd get a "free" 12" x 18" cutting board from our slab. It was listed on the invoice. Never got it. However, the worst part of the experience is that the counter was installed with a major crack going across one corner, in the most prominent place in the kitchen, at the end of the peninsula. We noticed it immediately after the installation, it was very obvious. Then two days later one of the contractor's workers leaned on it lightly and it broke completely off. Our kitchen was not even finished yet, and it was broken. I have pictures of the crack before, during, and after the break. The company sent someone to repair it right away, but the crack is still obvious. I complained to my contractor. Classic Granite's general manager came to the house and looked at it. He gave me every excuse in the book about how it was not their fault. I asked for a discount, and he said they could refund me maybe $100. I asked for a 10% discount. He said he doubted they could give me that much but he would talk to my contractor and call me back. I didn't hear back from him, so I called my contractor and complained. The contractor then negotiated a small discount in the form of a refund. I received a refund of $371 about a week after posting my original review here. I'd recommend getting granite from Lowe's or Home Depot rather than this company.

CGM was prompt and on time for both the templating and install of the granite. Crew was very polite and courteous during install taking the time to protect the hardwood floors while carrying in the very large island piece. We have already used CGM again for a vanity top in an upstairs bathroom. I would highly recommend CGM as their showroom and inventory of stone is probably the most extensive in the Richmond market area.

It was a disaster. I wouldn't use them if they were the last place on earth. I would never refer them to anybody. They're the worst company in town. The workers that they had were nice guys but they didn't speak English well and they dropped the sink and broke the water line in my kitchen and it flooded the kitchen and some of the dining room and then they wanted to not reimburse me for anything. The service was ridiculous--just absolutely ridiculous.

Classic Granite and Marble were actually subcontractors of the business I used to redo the kitchen. However, I did visit their showroom, and their crew did the work - both of which were excellent. When we went to the showroom, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ended up with a lovely black granite composite sink, and a new faucet. We were able to compare the countertop to the sinks, and get all of our questions answered. When the installation was done, it was completed on time, with very high quality and no incidents. They were professional, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with the quality, the work and the result.

They were great. one Hiccup, they came out to install and had cut the wrong sink size. I specifically wanted a one deep bowl under-mount. They re-cut a new piece of granite. This was performed quickly and installed by the next day. The corner seam looked great. I don't love the way the granite behind the stove is done, as i can see the seams and they are larger than i would like, but overall love my countertops.

Sales people and design team very helpful and provided valuable suggestions. Day of installation I was notified my selected faucet (which was in a display and was the only one left when I agreed to purchase the display) was sold out from under us. The installers showed me one they brought in lieu of my choice which was not acceptable. Truly annoyed and frustrated to know I had to leave my house during installation to shop for a new faucet. I was offered by store manager $50 off another faucet but otherwise she seemed indifferent. One section of counter was cut wrong - fortunately there was enough remaining of the slab back at the site to replace. The installation took all day due to the delays and some change in installers but never a question everything would be taken care of in one day. There was a poor job of caulking/sealing between back splash and wall but supervisor immediately had it redone. There are still some rough spots on two side corners which I thought could have been polished smoother but was told they could not due to the natural crevices in the granite. Overall, we truly love the look and ease of the new counter tops. Have had many compliments and wonder why I took so long to make the change from my 14 year old laminate. We chose a light color quartzite from brazil with beautiful red, gray, marble white and gold striations. Its been a year and we are very happy. I do recommend CG&M to others when they ask who handled our kitchen makeover.

They were absolutely fabulous. The did my kitchen and two bathroom counters. The showroom was beautiful. From the time they came in to start the job, there were no issues or glitches whatsoever. They did everything perfectly. I was so impressed.

It started off well but it did not end up well. They did not follow through, the carpentry work was not a good experience either.

We contracted with Kitchen Doctors to remodel our kitchen... ?including taking down the wall between the old kitchen and the dining room and making the entire space the kitchen. Kitchen Doctors led us to Classic Granite and we were very pleased. ?At one point, after the granite was in, the plumber was here installing the new gas stove and it wouldn't sit in the island properly because the granite was hitting a screw on the sides of the stove. ?Jim, Kitchen Doctors, called Classic Granite and within an hour 2 guys were at the house with the appropriate equipment to shave a hair off the granite so the stove would slide in. ?They were very accommodating and did a beautiful job.

Very well. Pleasant experience in showroom. Measure on time and prompt. Delivery on time. Installation done very well.

My experience with them has been great. They came the same morning that I called. The guy that did the work was very knowledgeable and capable.

It was a wonderful experience working with them. Their service technician that I worked with was just very helpful and it was of great price, it was not overpriced.

Classic Granite & Marble's customer service was very good, very responsive, everything I asked for I had it when I needed it. The installers were better than fabulous. They showed up on time and I never would have thought that a granite countertop could be installed in an entire kitchen in 3 hours time but they did it. They left a very clean job site when they left.

We really liked their work. The guys were really nice. They showed up when they said they were going to. They did all the work very quickly. It looks great. They are a very good company to work with.

We had some quality issues, and after some time and a few phones calls Classic made right on their promise.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We are enjoying our beautiful countertops now

We went to the shop to pick out the granite. They accommodated some special requests we had. We get a lot of compliments on the granite counter top. They were extremely punctual. We have recommended them to other folks.

Amazing how nice the job turned out. Very timely and professional.

They were prompt and very responsive. Their estimate was perfect and they did not go over in any way. I was very satisfied with their work and I would certainly hire them again.

Classic Granite was very willing to work with my schedule when it came to the templating and installation dates/times. Their template and install crews were both extremely detail oriented and took the time needed to make sure the job was done right. I never felt like it was a "rush job" and at the end of the day I was absolutely thrilled with my granite tops.

The contractor did not come on the appointed date but came 2 days later. The backsplash and countertop did not line-up evenly at the end of the counter. The backsplash was shorter than the countertop. Two seams are not smooth (which they said they pride themselves on seams). We still have a dull finish on a portion of the backsplash. Classic did return once for the dullness but did not correcty it. They did not attempt to refinish the two seams which we are still unsatisfied with. We had to call a repairman to adjust the garbage disposal which Classic installed. We wrote to the Better Business Bureau about our problem and Classic still did not respond to "repair to our satisfaction." Because of their lack of response to our numerous requests to return to fix our problems, we cannot in good conscience recommend this company. Their follow-up is non-existent once they have your check.

It went great. I couldn't be more pleased. I received an estimate and that is what I paid in the end. The staff was good and showed up on time. They were very good at cleaning up after themselves and the end results are exactly what I wanted.

THEY CAME OUT WITH IN ONE WEEK AND MEASURED AND PRICED THE PROJECT AND INSTALLED BY FOLLOWING FRIDAY. EVERYTHING TURNED OUT PERFECTLY. SEEMS ARE ALL GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT PERSON TO WORK WITH. THE PRICES WERE LOWER THAN ANOTHER COMPANY I HAD A ESTIMATE FROM AND THE INSTALLER EVEN RESET A CABINET THAT WAS SET IMPROPERLY. VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
