"At the begging of the project, everything went great. Erik was very professional and on time. The problem lies within his help and lack of communication after the project got started. Decisions were made without consulting me first, which caused some confusion and changing of plans. The tile work ended up turning out well, except a poor job on the caulking around the shower. The biggest issue of all was the hardwood floors. They guy he had redo my floors did a horrible job and had to come back three times and taking over 2 weeks to do so and the end result was mediocre at best. I ended up having to pull up half the quarter round and redo it, because he did not remove the old nails before reinstalling the quarter round. Then half the quarter round was off a little which really showed at the outside corners. He also broke a tile at the threshold of the bathroom and hallway and covered it up by shifting the threshold back, which by doing so, made the threshold loose and I ended up having to replace it myself. My opinion is that if Erik just had my job to worry about then it would have gotten done a lot faster and been a better quality. It seems as if he had too many jobs going on at once and was spread too then, which resulted in less than acceptable work."

I come from a family of builders, developers, remodelers, electricians, appraisers, realtors, and many other trades in the building industry. My father, who taught me the trades, is a master developer, architect, designer, and builder. He has some of the highest-selling properties in my hometown in California. I grew up working alongside him and other family members framing, building new houses, and renovating old ones. I have served in the military for 18 years and throughout my service I made extra money for my family by buying and renovating properties. Working in both renovations and new construction has allowed me to do almost all aspects of construction, home repair, renovation, structural re-engineering, and design. This allows me to find ways to make any ideas or projects you have in mind come to life for an affordable price whereas others will simply tell you what they can or can’t do based on convenience and not desired outcome.
