He came to the property and replaced the pilot assembly unit but unfortunately, the gas valve needs to be replaced also and it will cost me another $150.00 to order for this part. He suggested that I just buy a new unit instead of replacing parts and the tank is no longer under warranty. Although he tried to do everything that he can do to bring the hot water back, for almost half of the day, he did not charge me any labor fee at all . I thought that was very kind of him.

I was drilling a whole to get some wires through the drive wall, in the garage and accidentally drilled right-through the hot water outlet. Stopped the water from damaging further, called Danny at Simplistic Solutions and he was able to come over within the hour and fix it up real good.

Danny was very easy to work with..he saved us the price of a new faucet by recommending we contact the manufacturer for a replacement instead of just replacing with a new one...we had the faucet for 5 yrs, and had no idea they would replace it, but he was right they did replace it..

Danny is the best! Having seen what he did for me yesterday I would never consider using anyone else. My basement had a small sewer backup (approx. 6") which killed the pilot light on my hot water heater. I didn't think it could be repaired...I expected to have to replace it, but even before seeing it Danny said he thought it just needed a new part. Having dealt with a few unscrupulous plumbers, I could easily have ended up paying for a new water heater at a huge, unnecessary expense. It was working properly again in about 30 minutes. I had also had a whole-house inspection done by an Angie's List provider who said that I had a tiny gas leak at the on/off handle on my boiler. He said it was not an immediate concern, but the next time I needed a plumber to point it out. Since Danny was there, I mentioned it and he said it should be fixed ASAP which he did in record time. I now have hot water again and don't have to worry about the gas leak AND THE PRICE WAS SO MODEST! Thank you, Danny!

During the winter the line from the cut off valve for an outdoor faucet burst. This happened even though the cut off valve was closed and the outside faucet was open. I called Danny on a Tuesday and he was able to squeeze me in the next day. He called about a half-hour before he came out and showed up when he said he would. Danny quickly diagnosed the problem and implemented a solution to prevent future occurrences. He was professional, courteous, and thoroughly cleaned up after his work was complete.

Both of my showers leaked constantly and the valves would not turn far enough to allow hot water through in the winter time. I had completely taken off the knob in the upstairs bathroom to adjust it manually and just did not use the downstairs tub. Several people had previously looked at the valves prior to my call to this company. I already knew that it was a non-standard part that many people were unfamiliar with. I called and he was able to get to me the same week and was willing to come out and look at my shower and give me an estimate. He came by before I went to work and looked at both showers and took a picture of the part. He couldn't give me an estimate immediately because he had to see if it could be repaired or if it would have to be replaced completely with a new part. He called me back within a few days and said he had one that he could install and he back ordered the other. We were able to find a time that met both of our schedules for the install. I believe it took less than an hour for him to fix the downstairs shower. He let me test it and give him feedback and he made adjustments. It was several weeks before the second part came in. He came and also replaced that within an hour. The leaks in both showers have stopped and now I have hot water in both showers. Danny is the owner and does the work himself. He is very professional and respectful. He cares about the work he does and he listens. I couldn't be more pleased and I am happy that I now have a plumber to call when I need additional work down.

Danny came to check out a leaking shower and determined that water dripping down the tile was leaking through around the taps. He caulked and advised me to wait 24 hours before using the shower. I did so, but the next time I showered, there was still a small leak. He came back and found that the caulk had never dried, possibly due to some plastic liner components that were apparently intended as waterproofing on the faucet assembly. He removed those and recaulked at no additional charge. This time I waited a week before using the shower just to make sure, and it's now watertight. He was very responsive about coming back to finish the job and is a nice guy to work with on setting up appointments etc. Around the same time I discovered a leaking cast iron drain line in my crawl space. Danny fixed that in a timely fashion to avoid holding up a crawl space encapsulation project I had set up. (Guess I'm lucky the leak happened right before the encapsulation instead of right after.) I plan to use Danny for all future plumbing work.

Danny arrived in time, used shoe cover before entering the house. Personable and honest individual. Very thorough in his work, finished work in timely manner. Gave 10% discount on his labour charges meant for Angie's customer. I would call him for all my plumbing work.

We have used them several times. We found him on Angie's List. He does a real good work. He is a very pleasant person. He returns calls and works with our schedule. He cleaned up after himself. It went real well. I have recommended him a couple of times. He gave us a little bit of discount, 10%, because we are seniors, which was nice. He does not price gouge. He appears to be very honest. He helped us know what to buy when it came to kind of buying things. He did not tell us what brand, he did not tell us what store, he just told us what kind of piece of equipment would do the kind of job we wanted and it took away a ton of confusion for us. So, we knew what to ask for when we went into the store and asked the people to show us things and we did not have to go and figure it out ourselves.

Called on a Monday & had sink repaired by Thursday. I have a frequently changing schedule and he graciously worked around it. Showed up at the agreed upon time, put on shoe covers to protect my floors, and had the work done in under an hour. When I said that I didn't use the disposal that much, he did offer to do the less expensive option of just putting in a basket drain. He supplied the new disposal and charged me the same price you find at Lowes or Home Depot. If there was any mess, I did not see any trace of it. Have used before and will use again. Recommend this company without reservation.

He arrived when he said he would, He wore shoe covers so not to soil the house. He worked quickly and efficiently without incident. He cleaned up after his work and provided me the Angie's List discount. Very professional and reliable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. They actually did the job in less than 2 hours. They did it effectively and quickly so I was happy. They came the very next day. I didn't spend any additional. I wasn't here when they did the job but they did good work. They were reliable, fast and honest. I will call them again if I need them.

The contractor was timely, efficient and knowlegeable. He made the correct diagnosis and repair. I would use his repair service again.

Danny was incredibly nice and very professional. He showed up several hours later than expected, however that was understandable given all of the recent plumbing activity due to extended cold spell problems. He tried to access our drain line, however our crawl space had filled with water and he reached a point which was virtually impassible. I'm docking one letter on quality simply because he lacked the equipment--which a larger plumbing operation would probably have readily available--to pump out the water. We ended up buying a pump, removing some of the water, and opening the drain line ourselves--successfully clearing it. If you have an unusual job with complicating factors that might require additional people or extensive equipment, I might look elsewhere. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to use Danny for anything short of that -- we really liked him. Even knowing him for just a few minutes, you could immediately sense he was a skilled, hard working, and very honest guy. After spending almost an hour with us--he didn't charge us a dime!

Provider is excellent. Provider assisted us with plumbing needs we could not do ourselves in the process of renovating a bathroom. Provider arrived at time promised. We did not realize vanity we had purchased was incompletely assembled and provider completed assembly and installed for us. Work completed in neat and orderly manner and in timely fashion with minimum disruption to household. Cleaned up work area. Reasonable costs for quality work. Very pleased outcome and work is holding up well.

Danny McLean arrived on time, was very professional and took his time 2 find several different leaks in an upstairs bathroom that were leaking down onto my kitchen ceiling. I thought his prices were very reasonable. i would not hesitate to hire him again.

Had just bought a new house and water was leaking from the base of the faucet knob. Contractor fixed it in 20 min. Since I had the Angie's List 2-hour deal he asked me if there was anything else he could work on for me (wow!). I asked if he could check one of our toilets for a leak. He drained the water and lifted the base and there was a small leak. He reseated the toilet on a new wax ring. I was very pleased with his service.
