 + 1 moreDanny fixed the toilets and made double sure that the job was done, by running food coloring through. As for the leak, he tried everything to locate it before having to open the ceiling. We appreciate how carefully he did his work. Most responsible and fairly priced plumber we've ever worked with.
Description of Work: Danny was able to locate the source of the leak in our kitchen ceiling. Previous to this, he silenced our toilets that ran water intermittently throughout the day.

He told me that the garbage disposal was fine and didn't need to be replaced. He told me to return the disposal I bought. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Installed a replacement toilet, unclogged a pipe, fixed the water flow to another toilet and performed a plumbing inspection required by the condo board.

 + 0 moreDanny is great! He came out on the eve of upcoming snow storm and fixed two pipes which had evidently frozen and burst. He quickly found the leaks and repaired them. Afterwards he cleaned up the debris from tearing down the drywall and soaking wet insulation. Not sure what we would have done if he hadn't made a special trip to come out and do the repair with the snow storm bearing down on us.

 + 0 moreThey really did a good job. For a few years they helped us limp along with another system that was slowly failing. Then they replaced the entire system. The new system is much less maintenance and really gives us a better water quality. We have really high iron content in our water.

 + 1 moreThe entire repair was smooth and correctly done. Danny did all the plumbing and managed the drywall people and tile work, and recommended Brian to do the tile work (which was also great).
Description of Work: Danny/Simplistic acted as the general contractor on a large-ish water leak inspired insurance-covered repair, kitchen ceiling repalcement, and shower rebuild Brian Eschbach (Eschbach Renovations) did the shower rebuild which I reviewed separately. Danny is a 3rd generation Virginia plumber. He's seen it all. He can do anything. He is amazing. I've had a lot of not-fully-competent people come through to work on various things. Danny is one of the few people I am happy to say is fully competent. If he can't figure something out, then I doubt anyone else can. I had previously had a new toilet installed by someone else (on this site). When they put it in the toilet rocked. I called them back - so they came back and put concrete under the toilet to prevent the rocking. This may have kept me from detecting a toilet leak (the consensus is that the leak was a cracked shower pan - but where the leak came from was right under the toilet). Danny re-did the toilet install correctly. He knows how to do things right - or knows and cares enough to do it right. I don't know what the original installers were thinking. Sheesh.

 + -1 moreI found water spraying out of copper pipe under the house. I immediately called Danny. He came out the same day and fixed it, along with a leaky drain pipe, also under the house. Danny is so efficient. He knows what he is doing, which allows him to do it a lot quicker. This keeps the costs down. He is also reliable and very professional. I also like that he keeps most of what he needs on his truck, which means he can fix just about anything in one trip. I have never known a plumber like Danny. Our whole family now calls on him for service.

He?s a great plumber- kind, courteous (always wore shoe protectors when he came into the home so he doesn?t scuff the carpet), quick (I called him about the shower not working and he came out the next day), and effective (it took him two tries the fix the issue- the first time he just snaked the pipe but the blockage returned about 60 days later. It?s been six months since my last service and the shower still works like a dream). If Danny has any flaw, it?s that it took him forever to cash my check. This happened after my first service. He came to clean the pipes and I wrote him a check, which he cashed about a month later. The second time, I warned my boyfriend (who was paying for this service) to give him a money order instead. Well my boyfriend didn?t listen, and Danny held onto the $450 check for nearly 3 months! By that time, my boyfriend had forgotten about it and it ending up overdrawing his account for a few days. Not blaming that on Danny, I?m just saying this: Use Simplistic Water Solutions, but pay with a Money Order!
