SIMPLISTIC WATER SOLUTIONS

Danny actually replaced all of my plumbing in one very long day...remember, my water needed to off until the job was done and I was not happy about relocating overnight somewhere else. He also replaced my hot water heater which I had purchased elsewhere but was available when he arrived to do the job. I was very impressed with his professionalism A month or so, my water froze and Danny made a return to my house and insulated cold water pipes...apologizing for not doing so when he was here in March. He did not charge me for a 3 hr. job. I have already recommended him to a neighbor whose water tank began leaking. He arrived about an hour after she called him and fixed her problem, installing a new hot water heater, that same evening. Danny and Simplistic get an A+ from me.

I was in the process of buying a townhouse when the home inspector raised some relatively minor issues along with a possible problem with a jetted tub that could have been a major expense to repair. As I was nearing the end of the inspection period, I needed someone to come out quickly and check out how major the jetted tub problem might be. Danny returned my call quickly and was able to accomodate my deadline. He explained the jetted tub was not a problem and then gave me an estimate on the remaining work. The day before closing, during the walkthrough, another issue came up with water leaking from a sliding glass door. Again on short notice, Danny was able to come out the next morning and verify that it wasn't a problem. Finally, after closing, I had Danny come out to do the work the home inspector suggested. As always, he was on time (in fact, he was early). He did the work quickly and efficiently, he answered any questions that I had, and he was very meticulous about cleaning up any remnants of his work. I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.

Like others writing reviews, I called Danny at 9pm on a Sunday night and he returned my call within 30 minutes. I explained my problem and he said he could be there first thing in the morning ( by 9am). He showed up on time, assessed the situation, and fixed the problem then. He replaced the leaking water heater and installed the new one in a drain pain (which the leaking one was not in) and affixed an overflow pipe that now discharges in the crawl space. He was very professional. I'll use hime again when the need arises.

Danny was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable about the entire project from start to finish. He gave me an estimate over the phone and then said he would be happy to come by here to look at the situation before doing the work. I was very impressed with him from the start and he continued to impress me throughout the process. He arrived on time, successfully preformed the work in the time he had quoted me, and he tested all of it out before leaving. He even cleaned up the work area and was very careful to keep the mess contained to the work areas during the process. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again in the future!

Mr. McLean rocks! He showed up on time, worked very efficiently, was happy to explain options and did a simply outstanding job. He was very thorough in researching what the problems were and did not try in the least to press "big ticket" solutions. He earned my total faith and trust. His pricing was very fair and his billing was accurate. Too bad Angies' doesn't have an A+ rating!! He earned it.

The guy was outstanding. He was on time with a fair quote and he did a great job. I spent around $200 on the job. There were a couple of other issues that I had. He told me that I could fix it by myself by doing certain things. He was really honest and he was trying save me some money. He was honest, quick and efficient. I will use them again in the future.

I called around 9:00 one evening the week before and left a voicemail explaining the situation. I got a call back about 15 min later and he worked around My schedule and came in on Tuesday the next week. He was extremely professional, and showed me what had gone wrong and possible problems to watch out for in the future. The work was done within two hours and the price was extremely fair. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

This is my second service call with Simplistic Water Solutions. Danny always returns phone calls promptly and arrives when he promises. He had to do some special valve installation to run the water line for the icemaker, working in a small kitchen, so he was working in some cramped conditions. But he caused as little disruption to me as possible by routing the water line so I didn't have to empty my cabinets. Danny is careful in his work and makes sure everything is working properly before he leaves. He has all the required supplies on-hand before starting the job, and also cleans up! I trust Danny to do the job right, at a reasonable price, and would use him again for any plumbing needs.

We had a leak from the bathtub a few years back that left a hole in the ceiling. The trap from the bathtub extends below the bottom of the joists; to repair the ceiling we needed the trap raised. I arranged with Danny to come by and take a look at the problem. He dove right in trying the easiest solution - just raising the trap. That did not work, but two and a half hours later and a trip to Lowes he had a new trap in place above the bottom of the joist. He did not charge for the trip Lowes and I thought his rates very reasonable.

I called Danny on a Sunday night and left a message. At around 9:30 that night I was surprised to receive a call back as soon as I did. He offered to come out to the house the next morning to take a look at the water heater. He arrived on time and performed the work quickly and with great quality. I would definitely use his company again.

He just talked me through it over the phone and didn't charge me. I was very thankful for his help!

Excellent. Danny was extremely responsive and gave me a quote between $125 - $175 to do work in one bathroom. I sprung more work on him when he arrived in another bathroom. He did that work and the final bill still almost came in under his quote! Very professional, flexible, and fast.

I called Simplistic Water Solutions and left a message. Within 2 hours Danny McLean returned my call and said that he could come right away. He said that he would be there within 30 minutes, and indeed he was! Danny looked at the toliet, explained what was wrong and repaired it for me. I asked him to look at my other toliet to determine if I should go ahead and replace those parts too. Danny said the second toliet looked fine, and said that I did not need to replace those parts. I really appreciated his honesty. Danny is a very personable man, I told him that from now on, he will be my plumber.

Danny came when he said he would, completed the work in a satisfactory manner and was very pleasant. We would hire him again.

When I found a ceiling stain under the area of my 2nd floor washer/dryer, I called Simplistic based on reports on Angie's List. Danny called me right back and gave me a tentative "diagnosis" on the phone. Just to be sure, I made an appointment and he met me at home that morning - right on time. He was very thorough in checking my washer plumbing and the attic, where it turned out I had a roof leak after heavy rains, just as he had diagnosed. Very knowledgeable and professional, and I was entirely comfortable having him in my home. I'm very happy to have a good plumber to call now should I need one in the future.

He took time to trouble shoot the whole toilet and he also fixed the fill valve. He was responsive and answered all my questions. The quality of his work was good and I was satisfied with his service.

They were on time and did a great job. Very reasonable price too.

We've been having a problem with slow drains in the tub and sink in the upstairs bathroom. After another generic drain cleaning company spent an hour working on the tub [& wouldn't touch the sink] and we couldn't see any improvement, we called Simplistic. Mr. McLean and an associate came out for a free estimate regarding our problem. After checking the situation they strongly recommended a second opinion from another drain routing service and provided a number for one who had, in their opinion, a good reputation [we'll file a separate report on that company]. That service came out and fixed both the bathtub drain problem and also replaced the trap under the sink. I was impressed by SImplistic's honesty and integrity in addressing our problem . Instead of selling us an expensive plumbing solution, his accurate assessment of the trouble and direction to another professional saved us time and money.

Two plumbers came to my home in the scheduled time frame. I showed them the signs of the leak on my kitchen ceiling and then showed them the shower. After taking off the drain cover and examining the shower, they discovered a 3-4 inch hairline crack beginning at the shower drain. Apparently, when a person stands in the shower and runs the water, the crack separates enough so that water runs through it. Indeed, when the shower is used, water starts appearing on the kitchen ceiling within 2-3 minutes. The plumbers also knew that the leak was not due to a hole in a pipe. This is because there was water sitting at the bottom of the drain which they showed me with a flashlight. The plumbers were then very helpful in giving me suggestions on how to find someone to repair the crack. As I had no idea what company had made the shower, they suggested that I call two well known manufacturers of fiberglass showers to find out who they would suggest to do a repair. This worked well for me. They also advised me to check my homeowners insurance policy to see if I had any coverage for either repairing the shower or installing a new one. If I have any future plumbing problems, I would call Simplistic Water Solutions. They treated me professionally and were very helpful even though they did not charge me for their services. Other plumbing companies that I called charge you a fee just to show up at your house.

I would hire these plumbers again in a heart beat. We originally scheduled work for a Wednesday. They needed to reschedule for the following Friday due to jury duty. When I called them back and told them that rescheduling was causing a problem with a flooring contractor that would be fixing the floor after our cabinet was moved, they offered to come immediately and cap the plumbing and move our cabinet that day and then finish the job the following Friday. They came within an hour after I called, placed protective covering on the floor prior to moving the cabinet(without me asking)capped the plumbing(no charge for the trip or the work)and showed up on time the following Friday to complete the job. My flooring contractor was able to do his work as originally scheduled. They are both certified plumbers, they show up together and get the job done efficiently and well. They fixed our kitchen plumbing, attached a garbage disposal, replaced a toilet, fixed a hot water problem in a bathroom sink, moved our cabinet/bar sink, cut a new counter top, and reconnected cabinet/counter top/bar sink in another room. They also noticed that the drywall behind the new cabinet would not be even after removing the utility sink, so they cut some extra drywall and put it in place. They brought a vacuum with them and swept, vacuumed and wiped up after themselves. The first time they came, they spent 1-2 hours(not including travel time). On Friday they showed up at 9:00 am and didn't leave until almost 4:00 pm. They gave me a 10% discount since I found them through Angie's List. They were professional, courteous, helpful, and reasonably priced. I'm very pleased with them and will call them in the future for other plumbing issues.

Called Monday morning and had to leave a message. They returned the call in a couple of hours and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. They arrived when they said they would and finished the work in about two hours. They were very courteous and professional and cleaned up after they finished.

Fixed promptly and correctly the first time.

On Tuesday late afternoon, I called and asked Simplistic Water Solutions if they could come out to our house and check out a leak under the kitchen sink. I spoke to Dave Schweiger, and he made an appointment for 9:00 am the next morning. Dave S and Danny McLean were at our house a bit before 9:00 am. After replacing the rusted and leaking supply lines and bringing the trap for the garbage disposal up to code, there was still a leak. They investigated the faucet and that too was no good. We spent about 15 minutes checking out faucets on line, but decided it would be easier if I just went to the store with one of them to choose one. While Dave and I were buying a faucet with a matching soap dispenser (not included in the $182 labor and materials and trip fee charge), Danny took out the old faucet and a hot water dispenser we never used. They didn't charge for the 15 minutes we spent on line. Both Danny and Dave are personable and professional. Both have second jobs as firefighters. They were in the off part of their firefighting schedule so were able to come out promptly. Dave and Danny are co-owners of Simplistic Water Solutions. I think they said it is they who work on all jobs. I was completely happy with them, and will definitely call them again in the future. They charge $80 for the first hour, and then increments of that for additional time, plus a $35 trip fee. I didn't ask for an estimate when we made the appointment. Danny filled the soap dispenser with 50/50 water/soap, they cleaned up after the job, and prescribed post-job actions (leave doors under sink cabinet open, keep a fan blowing to dry out particle board, use Moldex or 50/50 bleach water to prevent mold.).

Excellent. Dave Schweiger arrived on time and on schedule to install the two toilets that I had purchased (one toilet's wax ring was leaking). I kind of surprised him with the request to replace the shower pipe and to look at the shower faucet that I had wanted installed also. In advance of his arrival I had removed the existing toilets and cleaned up the old wax ring residue, and I agreed to dispose of the old fixtures myself. I'm estimating I saved myself about $100. In the course of trying to replace the shower faucet he found a problem that he thought needed immediate attention (to which I concurred and I will call him back soon to fix). Overall, a good experience. Dave is professional and personable. I think he charges a fair price for his work. Toilets work fine, no more leaks.

The company is small, but busy and responsive. The appointment had to be scheduled about four days after my call, but they were prompt, very efficient and personable. The repairman was also exceptionally clean and attentive to our home and respective of our pets.
