Everything was fixed in a jiffy. None of these repairs were urgent - I let them drag on. I'm very glad they are all fixed. Danny knows his stuff and is a professional. Also a good guy. Next time I won't wait.

I called Danny and left him a brief message and he called me back the same day. He even came out the same day to give me a free estimate on how much the job would cost. The first thing that jumped out at me when he arrived to start doing the work was that he had shoe covers with him which he put on before entering my house. I know this may not mean much to other people but I don't appreciate having someone come into my house and track it all up. You would be hard pressed to find contractors out there these days that would bother doing this unless you requested it. Now, on to the work... Danny did a great job of installing the parts and thoroughly checking everything (not to mention the fine job of cleaning up any mess that had been made) before leaving. He's very professional, punctual, and his rates are quite reasonable. It's really hard these days to find contractors out there who care about the quality of work they do and don't try to charge the customer an arm and a leg for it. I would have to say from my experience that he is one of the few who do. He's got a customer in me for any and all future plumbing needs.

They pulled up the toilet, snaked the pipes, ran a rag through it several different ways. They ensured there wasn't anything in the drain causing a problem. Danny has a wealth of experience and was able to offer some ideas as to what is causing the clogging issue.

No work was ever performed. Spoke twice on the phone with contractor - first time shared that he was sick and would call back. Several days later he called back, and he was to check the calendar and call again. Call never came.

I planned to replace an old upstairs toilet that had been leaking around the base. When I removed the old toilet, I discovered that the mounting flange was cracked. I didn't want to attempt this repair myself, so decided to call Simplistic Water Solutions based on their Angie's List rating. Danny arrived on time and soon had the broken flange replaced. I had planned install the new toilet myself, but have Danny do it since I was impressed with his repair work and found out that using his expertise for the installation would not add much to the bill. Danny did not mind that I closely watched the whole process and asked lots of questions. He was happy to explain exactly what he was doing and why. He also gave me some tool recommendations and tips for how to avoid plumbing problems in the future. I enjoyed the whole process and was very glad I called Danny rather than trying to do it myself. The total cost was $169, which was less that I expected. I highly recommend Simplistic Water Solutions (Danny McClean) as your family plumber. As other customers have said, Danny is also a fireman, so he is not always available to answer the phone and immediately respond to plumbing emergencies. But he would be my first choice for any non-emergency plumbing job.

Danny McLean did an excellent job. Everything from making the appointment and arriving on time to cleaning up after the job went well. He fully answered all questions and concerns. I found out that though he works for the county fire department, he comes from a line of plumbers and has been doing plumbing since he was old enough to crawl under a house. I was impressed enough with the experience that I asked him to come again and install a water heater that will tie in with my oil burner that heats both the baseboard hot water system as well as the domestic hot water. This will enable me to turn off the heat for the warm weather months, but which will also heat the water in the supplemental hot water heater in the colder months.

Danny came in February to repair a toilet in my mom's house. I knew something was wrong with the toilet, as it had overrun a couple of times and caused water damage on the ceiling below, but I had no idea what the problem was and my mom was unable, due to medical issues, to explain the issue to me. Danny was very understanding of our limitations and provided prompt, professional service to us. I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to repair a second toilet after I realized that it might have a leak. He performed excellent work again and I intend to use him for all of my Richmond plumbing needs in the future. Thanks, Danny!

Excellent work and done in the time estimated. When I requested additional work (the bathroom sink pop-up needed fixing), he was not only very accomodating, but also had the parts on his truck enabling him to complete that job during the same visit. Very impressed with Danny's integrity and knowledge.

We noticed that there was a water leak from the ceiling of our garage, and after obtaining one rather excessive estimate from a provider given to us via our warranty company, we called this contractor to evaluate the situation. Simplistic Water solutions came to the home, tightened the water connections in our laundry room, and determined that to the source of our leak. He also evaluated ( no additional cost) a water stain found in our kitchen. Overall he only charged a small fee, but when compared to what was quoted by the warranty service provider, he saved us a bundle!! Would highly recommend him again for future repairs/ estimates.

Danny was wonderful about making the appointment. He came in and correctly diagnosed both problems and then fixed them with things he already had on the truck. Great guy. I highly recommend him.

He was fantastic. He fixed what I thought was a major problem when it was actually a small problem. He did not even charge me. He is awesome.

Plumber Danny McLean (Simplistic Water Solutions) was fabulous. He is not only a very talented plumber, he was very professional, polite and respectful. And after examining all the faucets inside and outside the house, he quickly pin-pointed the spot where he suspected there was an obstruction in the pipe which was causing us to have very low water pressure. He arrived on schedule and his charges were pretty much what I had expected. As soon as he was done, the water pressure in the house was immediately back to normal. (The obstruction turned out to be on the water company's side of the plumbing and Danny told me word for word how to describe it to the water company - which was very helpful.) I highly recommend Danny and will DEFINITELY use him again for any future plumbing needs.

Danny was neat and efficient and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Danny was very courteous and prompt. He responded to my voicemail in a matter of hours and was willing to come out the same day to take a look at our problems. He was able to fix our problems immediately and then gave my husband an additional discount for being a veteran. He was great to work with and was very professional. We would definitely refer him to our friends and should we need plumbing service again, he would be the first we would call.

We had tolerated poor hot water pressure for years because proposed "solutions" from other plumbers just didn't make sense (and they hadn't even taken a look at the water heater or pipes!). We decided to call Simplistic after reading so many good reviews on Angie's List, and we are SO glad we did! Danny called back that evening; he even apologized that he might have interrupted our dinner. He came out the next day, listened carefully to our description of the problem, then disconnected the water heater from the outflow pipe and removed a meteorite-like chunk of something. Problem solved! No leaks, no mess, and a polite and helpful attitude. He also fixed a dripping outside faucet while he was here; he was done in less than 2 hours total. We do not hope to have more plumbing problems, but we will be calling Simplistic if we do.

Danny was very helpful. When my husband installed the new vanities, Danny provided assistance when the roughed in plumbing was off a little in measuring and even assisted placing the new vanities. We really enjoyed working with Danny and will do it again.

This company did not answer the phone and called me back two days later at 9:30pm and said "I'm sorry I was at work". At work for two days? Come on buddy!!!

I called SWC to fix my leaky faucets The service provided was done promptly and professionally. He even fixed my shower door which was coming off. I was very pleased with the service that was provided and will definitely use them again.

Danny, the owner, came over on Saturday to fix a leaky bathroom faucet. This is actually the second time I have used Simplistic Water Solutions for plumbing needs. Danny called prior to arrival. He quickly fixed the problem and also observed that the bathroom light switch was 'hot'. Danny also happens to be a Fireman/EMT. We had not noticed this and really appreciate this observation. He recommended that we call an electrician to resolve. We think Danny is the best plumber we have ever met and will always call him for our plumbing needs.

I had a dripping shower with a very difficult access issue. Simplistic Water ran an AL coupon and Danny immediately came over. His work was top-notch, and he completed the job well under the time estimated. Plumbing is my LEAST favorite home repair, and plumbers are my least favorite trade to deal with. Danny broke all the stereotypes around that and did a wonderful job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danny to anyone!

Everything went smoothly. He arrived on time and cleaned up the areas.

I noticed what I thought was a leak in the shower, with drops of water forming and moving down the wall next to the showerhead. I looked on Angie's, and selected 3 plumbers that were interested in small jobs. I was able to get in immediate contact with Danny, and he came out the next evening. It turned out the"leak" was condensation of a very fine mist coming out of my old shower head after I tried to change the direction and moved it. I had also previously purchased a new shower head and arm, and since I had a plumber coming out, spontaneously decided to change all of the fixtures. I had been thinking about changing them for a long time, and purchased a whole set of them. As it turned out. Danny found that the old fixtures had been improperly installed, and held in place by some type of indestructible cement, so that the old fixtures could not be removed without damaging the tile on the other side. Danny installed the shower head I had previously purchased, and I took the new fixtures back to Pleasant's. For me, I actually was glad to find out that it was impossible to change them, and to put closure on that idea. Prior to this, I thought "honest plumber" was an oxymoron. Danny took a real interest in my problem. I will be using him in the future.
