I am actually disgusted with how poorly I was treated on the telephone by a woman called Lisa when I called this afternoon to inquire about my appointment. The appointment window was 12-4pm and no one had shown as of 4pm. My husband took the afternoon off of work to be here for the appointment. Someone from Norfolk Plumbing called him this afternoon and asked to change the appointment to tomorrow and he refused because that would mean him taking another five hours off of work, which he can't do. So, when I called to find out about where the plumber was, I gave Lisa my address and she immediately got ugly with me, such an offensive, indignant attitude! She informed me of the emergencies that the plumber was dealing with - mind you, all in the most horrible tone - and that it's a Monday afternoon and that they were super busy. I get that. All I was asking was when the guy would get here. She replied 'today', I asked what time, and she rails into me that she can't give me a time and that he'd be here today. Her tone and attitude were so bad that I actually interrupted her to ask her if she knew how awful she was behaving and how unprofessional she was. She clearly did not care. Never in my life have I been met with such a vile person on the other end of the telephone. If I ever spoke to a client the way she spoke to me I surely would be fired. Of course I want to cancel the service - routine sewer line maintenance that they performed last year for us - but that would mean more time off work which would only hurt us more. It's now 4:47 pm, it's getting dark, and still no sign of the plumber. I will never, ever use this service again. The plumber may do a fantastic - or terrible - job and neither would matter to me because of the hideous encounter I had with Lisa at Norfolk Plumbing.

They were efficient and prompt. Price was reasonable. The empolyee was very courteous. I have used them multiple times. I will use them again very soon for another issue. Great service.

On June 27 the knobs that I paid to have replaced on Feb 12-13 fell off and the shower faucets started leaking. I called Norfolk Plumbing and recieved the answering service and was told by the plumber on duty that he would be at my house on June 28th at 0730 but he did not arrive until around 0815. He looked at the knobs that they installed on Feb12-13 and informed my wife that the knobs were put on backwards. He fixed the knob in the master bathroom and we called on back on July 2 to get the other bathroom knob and leaky faucet fix and I was notifieid by the customer service rep. that we should have recognized that they had put the knobs on backwards and we were being billed for $191.00 for coming out in correcting their faulty work and when I objected to me paying I was told that how do they know that I did not have another plumber come out and due work. I informed that we would not pay for$191.00 for them correcting a problem Norfolk Plumbing created and I would never do business with them again. This were not kids they were ages 23 and 25

We purchased a home and within a few days noticed a slow leak from the boiler pipe, simultaneously, we connected the washer and the drainpipe was clogged. After reviewing member reviews on Angie's List for Norfolk Plumbing, I immediately called on a Monday morning and had an appointment for Wednesday. Two techs arrived and immediately stopped the boiler leak, provided me with an estimate to repair the boiler leak and clogged drainpipe. I was given an appointment for repairs the following Tuesday. After completing the repairs on Tuesday, the techs left the washer running in order to ensure the clogged drain pipe was repaired. Within a matter of minutes water came rushing from the pipes during the rinse cycle. I called Norfolk Plumbing and spoke with the receptionist and immediately the techs were back at our home!! After an hour plus they were able to unclogged the drainpipe and provide suggestions for future repairs. I highly recommend this team for all plumbing repairs and will definitely use them in the future before contacting anyone else!!!

The job took less time than expected. These guys don't mess around and get the job done. They're also very helpful from beginning to end answering questions and offering suggestions. This is the 2nd time I've used them and will definitely call again!

Called Norfolk Plumbing with an emergent repair request to replace broken hot water heater, the reception staff was very helpful in assessing my situation and getting me scheduled that morning. The Tech's showed up before the agreed upon time with all required materials and went right to work. They were very courteous and meticulous about keeping a clean workspace. The removal and installation was accomplished much quicker than anticipated. Upon completion they reviewed the work completed and ensured all my questions were answered.

They went in and did what they needed to do and got out. So we would call them again probably to get an estimate on some work we want done to our bathroom. They were very nice about the whole situation. It was good. The original price, because it was late, was $191. But because we were Angie's List members they brought it down to $172. They were friendly. They went in, they diagnosed the problem, they fixed it and then they left. They did an excellent job. Our water bill certainly went down.

They were prompt, efficient, courteous, price was fair, but the quality of the work was excellent.

Professional and fast, little pricey

They’ve done several projects for me here at the house and they are quite good. Their rates are quite reasonable and they always send out 2 people. They send out a primary plumber and someone who is training. They are kind of known in the area for the fact that they do apprentice people. They are reasonable and they do good work. They are very responsive.

We had a few clogged drains. We contacted Norfolk Plumbing.I will call NP again if we need a plumber.

Flawlessly; taking less time than expected.

My son, age 18, was watching the house for us while we're out of town. Well, the furnace went out during one of the snowstorms and he just decided to put on a sweater rather than calling us (or the oil company) and asking what to do. Pipes froze, house thawed, burst radiator dumped 94,000 gallons of water in my bedroom before the city was able to turn the water off. Called Norfolk Plumbing and they came out that day and repaired the burst radiator and reassured son that the bathroom pipes were fine. I was not there, but I know that the work was done quickly, competently, and at a reasonable price even though they were dealing with a panicked teenager with a credit card who would have given anything to make this go away. Also, my son was no longer panicking after they started working so apparently their professional demeanor was enough to reassure the boy. Will be calling them again.

Work performed to my complete satisfaction. Personnel arrived on time and cost was consistent with estimates. This provider is my plumber of choice - used several others before finding Norfolk Plumbing, but my search for a reliable, professional plumber is over!

The part of the toilet flange that held the bolt had broken off so one bolt was not secure and the toilet moved side to side. I tried to do it myself but the flange was cemented into the concrete slab. I cut away part of it with an oscillating tool and gave up. I called a couple of other pumpers from Angies list and they said that a whole section of the floor had to be jackhammered out and it would be around 3000 dollars. They counldn't even come to look at it for a couple of weeks. I called Norfolk and described my problem to them along with what the other plumpers said. They said that they don't think it'll be a problem and that they'd done similar stuff like that before. They installed a new flange that went inside of the broken one, put the toilet back on and everything works great! Saved me thousands of dollars if I'd been stupid enough to go with the other guys. They came out the next day and looked at it and then the day after to make the repairs.

The work was fine, but they showed up 1.5 hours late after we called their dispatcher twice to ask when they would arrive. When they arrived, both guys smelled strongly of marijuana. We will find another company for our next plumbing problem.

Norfolk Plumbing was great. I called them about a toilet that was leaking in my downstairs neighbor's bathroom and asked them about replacing both toilets in my home. They immediately quoted the toilets and went out of their way to come at the time I could be home. I called back before the appointment to talk about the toilet replacement and the owner was very generous of his time to review various toilets with me. They arrived on time, reviewed my repair options and the costs thoroughly and did a great job. I will definitely use them if needed (hopefully not) in the future.

Wonderful experience with Norfolk Plumbing today. We called at 8:45 pm on Friday night when we realized we had a major problem with any water leaving our house (overflowing toilet after draining bath tub, etc, generally not good times for Friday night) Surprised to actually get a live person, a very courteous woman who took our information and forwarded it to the on-call plumber, who called us back a few minutes later. He was very polite as well; we discussed whether we needed him that night or if it could wait until morning (we decided we could survive the night). He called us promptly the next day as he said he would, and arrived when he said he would as well. Johnnie and his partner were very professional and were able to clear the clog within a half an hour. A very reasonable price for a weekend call. We would call Norfolk plumbing in a heart beat if we needed to. This is what I call great customer service!

Called at about 0830 and Ray responded at the house by 10:30. This was not an emergency call, no water leaking etc. Yet they showed up in the rain and replaced the faucet with a better one and made some modifications that will make any necessary future repairs a lot easier. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

They did a great job. It was done nice, neat and professionally. It all started with the phone call. The woman that answered the phone was extremely polite and said she would have a technician contact me right away. Within the hour Ray called with a few questions about the old water heater and said he would load the truck with tools and the water heater and be right out. In no time the iconic yellow truck showed up. Ray and Paul were very polite and professional and got right to work. Disconnected the old, installed the new, some explanation on the new water heater and were on their way. I felt the price was fair for the entire install (water heater included). Did a little research before calling Norfolk Plumbing Inc. and they seemed to right in the middle. I highly recommend Norfolk Plumbing Inc. to everyone!
