BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

(Please Excuse the Tardiness of this Review as I was out of the country following the service) The initial meeting with Beau the salesman went extremely well, Beau was able to explain the process with explicit detail and was patient in answering our concerns and questions. Subsequently, we moved forward with the project. The crew consisted of Jacob, Austin, Jerman and on one day Hunter.. All are young gentlemen and extremely professional, on time, polite and when we had any questions they were patient in answering our questions. The job took a roughly 3.5 days but, this was due to the size of the project. The crew maintained a very clean work environment and cleaned up their work daily, showed up on time and did not waste time while working on our home. I can tell you that we looked and spoke with three other companies in the Tidewater area and chose Bay, based on their professionalism from start to finish of the project. Although a challenge occurred with the crawl space entrance (on a 45 year old home), wherein the old frame on the entrance when removed caused some brick damage. HOWEVER, Bay through their Service Director Steve are replacing the brick and have hired a professional mason to complete the project. I seriously doubt any of the other companies would do this. My advice if you need Crawl Space Encapsulation, FORGET the big over priced company of Tidewater and go with Bay, they're true Professionals

From start to finish, they proved to be professionals. The project was rescheduled do to the threat of a hurricane, but once started everything went as smooth as they said it would. The crew I had for the installation (Mike, Sam and Nick) did I my opinion an outstanding job. Not only was Mike very knowledgeable about the insulation project, he is also a fantastic snake catcher. I would recommend them to all my friends looking for this kind of work.

Bay Crawlspace Solutions was wonderful to work with. I checked around and priced the job with a few other companies. I felt very confident when meeting with our crew leader and again on the day they arrived. They were prompt and great to work with. It was almost like they weren't here and they were finished in no time. I'm definitely glad we decided to use Bay Crawlspace Solutions.

Horrible- incorrect work and no responsibility taken by company.

The salesperson was prompt and courteous. He was not very familiar with foundations repairs. I explained to him our concerns. He consulted with another member of the company that was more familiar with foundation repair. The salesperson told me that because foundation work had been done previously on the property., he could not offer a solution. This was a first. Every other foundation company was able to provide a solution.

Job went well, the crew was on site by 8am every day and worked until approx 5pm. The site lead kept us informed on progress, complications, which in our case included the discovery of additional moisture requiring the installation of the french drain, not in our original estimate. The work went smoothly and questions were answered immediately. Cleaned up every evening upon departure and were friendly and professional throughout. Great job! Quite pleased and impressed.

Crews never showed up at the time promised. Crew replaced a 6 X 6 beam with a 4 X 6 beam. 4 X 6 beam hammered into place so much ends were splintering. 4 X 6 beam bowing/deflecting 2 inches over the length of the beam. Termite shield between beam and concrete pier was bent up 90 degrees while removing old beam and left in the bent up position. New poly put down over HVAC lines making them inaccessible. Also laid over electrical wire. One section of the crawlspace not cleaned and did not have new poly put down. When the salesman from Bay Crawlspace came out to inspect and give an estimate, I specifically asked who would be on site to supervise the crew doing the work. He assured me there would be a crew leader who knew what to do. This did not happen. All the glossy pictures and promises are worthless if the crew sent to do the work does not know what to do and no one is there to correct their mistakes. This is the company's responsibility. I sent pictures of the work to Bay Crawlspace. They called me back within a hour to apologize for the poor quality of work. I sent an email listing 7 things that needed to be corrected. I got a reply from the owner of the company agreeing to address all of the issues. A crew came out few weeks later and corrected all of the problems. I appreciated the response I got when Bay Crawlspace became aware of the quality of work done. They assured me this was not the kind of work they expected and would make things right. I hope they also able to "make things right" as far as supervision of their work crews goes, which would have the job being done right the first time.

The whole process from beginning to end was completed with upmost professionalism. Any questions or concerns I had was answered, and the level of integrity the workers showed really made a good impression. We had a rainy day and it was pointed out that rain was getting into my crawlspace, so I was immediately alerted that a french drain should probably be installed. This information probably saved me extra money of rework to address the flooding issue later on.

Bay Crawlspace were a joy to work with. They were very communicative at all stages of the project and provided very timely resolutions to any issues. They were very reasonably priced and the chaps who carried out the installation worked tirelessly in the high summer temperatures. I would absolutely recommend the company for crawlspace projects.

The crew was punctual, professional, and experienced in all of their tasks. The job took two full days and included an electrician to support the dehumidifier. They also installed a drain line from the dehumidifier to the outside of the house.

Contacted for installation of french drain system.After installing my problem only got worse...Wouldn't honor agreement,would only communicate by e-mail..I finally gave up

Awesome job. Crew show up on time and front office kept in touch with me every step of the way from initial inspection to the final with the local building inspector. I've had a lot of remodeling done lately and got to know our local inspector. Our inspector Stated that crawl spaces were the one thing disliked about being an inspector. But when the inspector entered our crawl it was reported as the best job they had seen to date. Bay Crawlspace solutions is based in Virginia and my home was the first job they performed in North Carolina. When the building inspector left our home it was stated they were on their way to another job Bay Crawlspace had just completed and if they kept doing quality work like they did in my home Bay Crawlspace would be a welcomed asset to th NE North Carolina area. Everything went perfect - just as Bay Crawlspace said it would. They arrived on-time, cleared out the crawlspace as needed and then worked continuously until the job was done. The workers explained each step that they were completing and asked if there was any other questions or concerns that I had. Professional from start to finish.

After collecting three estimates we picked Bay Crawlspace to do the work. Our decision to use them was not just because they had a better price but they used better materials . The 20 mil liner was twice the thickness of one of the other companies. Prior to the work they kept in contact as far as scheduling and when the work would begin. They began the work on time and completed it when they said they would , All three company personnel were very respectful and handled themselves in a professional manner. My wife and I were very pleased with the finished product.

Great, It took four days and the crew was very good. They were polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up everyday. This company was both professional and good with the repair and install of their product. I would highly recommend this company.

Went well. Got some lift in the back and some leveling in back of house. Better than it was. Not perfect but good.

A very reasonably priced company. The crew, led by Art, was punctual, responsive and professional. They were always on time and cleaned up after themselves. Art answered all of my questions in a thorough, easily understood manner. I highly recommend this company for your mold, moisture, water build-up needs in your crawl space.

Bay Crawlspace Solutions provided an excellent assessment and a quality product for two-thirds the price of competitors. As a result the musty smell that emanated from the crawlspace into the house is now gone.

went well, job complete in about 1 1/2 days

Everything went well. it took a little longer than expected for the encapsulation, but it was really good that it did take longer because as they were finishing up, we got a thunderstorm that caused some flooding in one section of the house. If they had finished as expected, we would have not detected the issue and it could have caused a mess. This happened on Friday and they came back on Monday to put in a french drain and a sump pump. it costs some extra money but i am glad we caught it before it caused a big problem. i must give a shout out to Seth and he team they readily answered my questions, took care of any concerns i had cleaned up the area. They definitely took pride in their work. Blake the owner was very professional and addressed a couple of minor issues right away. i got a quote from a competitor that is all over tv and radio and there price was way much higher for the same work. Highly recommend this company. We have already noticed a changes due to the encapsulation. i expect in winter will make the most difference.

It was awesome from start to finish! The owner came to do the free estimate, and he was phenomenal: professional but approachable and willing to be honest about the services. He worked with us to determine the plan that would be best given our crawlspace and budgetary needs. Once we agreed upon the plan, he and his office staff (who was also wonderful), worked with us to have everything in place for a quick turnaround (the project was completed with the next month). The team working on the encapsulation was respectful and worked full days even in the unbearable summer heat. Following the completion of the project, the owner has consistently been available and responsive to our questions concerning the dehumidifying system, what we should expect, etc. I have already recommended the provider to friends (who have booked their own estimate) and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, affordable crawlspace company that cares not only about their work, but also about their clients!

Arrived an hour early the first day, the guys were polite and professional, and they brought in reinforcements on the last day to make sure they finished on time. Very pleased with the work and the people.

The first day they were to arrive was the only time I had any issues. They called and said they would be here around nine, then called and said it would be around noon and then again called and said they would be here around two. They finally got here around four, but they were finishing up someone else's crawlspace and they did call and let me know each time that they weren't going to be here. They were very professional about it all. The two guys that were out here working were probably two of the hardest working people I have ever encountered. They seem to have worked non stop for four days to make up the time. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and their cleanliness with such a dirty job. I really can't say enough good things about them. Steve even worked himself into exhaustion on an extremely hot day. The entire team I dealt with was top notch. I really just can't say enough good things about them.
