BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

We used Bay Crawl Space Repair and Foundation Repair to encapsulate our crawl space and couldn’t be more pleased. We entertained a number of estimates and, after comparing, found Bay Crawlspace not only the best value but a great team to work with. Michael Rowlands, the sales person, did a full inspection of the crawl space to include pictures, sat with us and explained the problems, and offered a number of practical solutions. He walked us through all our options and costs and did not pressure us for an answer. We called him several times to get additional information and he was great in providing answers. The installation team did a great job. On the first day they introduced themselves an explained what they were going to do on each day. At the close of each day the team lead notified us what was done and what they were going to do the next day. Upon completion of the installation Chris Woolard did a quality control inspection and provided pictures of the completed job. Now – we have a back deck that was being replaced and was in the way of installing one of the vent caps. Once the old deck was removed we called Bay Crawlspace and Seth Lilienthal stopped by, installed the vent cap, and did an inspection of the installation, no charge. Bottom line – Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair is a first rate company that provided excellent service. We were MOST pleased to have selected them to encapsulate our crawl space.

We just had Bay Crawl Space Foundation Repair do a crawl space encapsulation on our home and we are incredibly pleased with this Company. Our inspector Fred was very thorough and did not pressure us into making any quick decisions and offered us various financing and discount options. They have great communication throughout the whole process. Bay came up with a project schedule and were able to keep to the schedule with no problems. They were friendly during the whole process and thoroughly explained everything. They also took care of obtaining any permits that were required. Our Team Members of Stefan, Thomas, Floyd and Adian were dedicated and hardworking and are to be commended for their work. For anyone who might be considering doing a crawl space encapsulation, we highly recommend Bay Crawl Space.

Stefan and crew did an amazing job from start to finish!! Our crawlspace had a huge moisture problem and was completely horrendous. The crew came in without one complaint and performed back-breaking labor for 8 plus hour days in this very damp, smelly and tight space. The crew was kind, polite and punctual and gave us updates along the way. Our crawlspace has stayed between 40-45% humidity since they left even with heavy rains last week--completely dry! It looks amazing down there now! Highly recommend this outstanding company that stands behind their word!

We were having excess moisture causing insulation to fall and fungus growing. We chose Bay after getting several estimates and have been extremely happy with their work. Their communication is outstanding making sure we knew when they were coming and what was getting done. The team is Seth, Mike, A-Shawn, Adian, and Nate were very professional and thorough. Now our crawl looks almost new after encapsulation. The moisture problem is gone and we have much better peace of mind. Would definitely recommend this company without hesitation.

I've been battling moisture issues inside the house and in the crawlspace for a while. Bay Crawlspace encapsulated my crawlspace and the process from beginning to end was a fantastic experience. Bay recently installed two Titan jacks under my house. The jacks were to support cracked foundation piers. Bay did an excellent job from start to finish. I was immediately impressed when I called to get a quote. A real person answered the phone after just a couple of rings and the estimator was scheduled to visit within a week. The estimator Michael arrived on time, did a thorough inspection and took time to explain the foundation problems, Bay’s plan to correct the issues together with accurate sketches and pricing options. I thought the quote very fair and reasonable. In addition no deposit was requested, I would only pay once the job was completed. I found this reassuring of Bay’s confidence in their own work. I agreed go ahead and was again quickly contacted by the scheduler who worked with me to arrange a convenient time around my schedule to do the work. The technicians Nick and Josh showed up to do the work exactly at the time I had been told. Nick and Josh were friendly and respectful. Both men were wearing masks when they came to start the job. To me this showed Bay’s concern for their employees and respect for their customers’ safety. Nick explained what they were going to do and they immediately got to work. They completed the work quickly and efficiently. Nick took multiple photos showing all stages of the work including step by step excavation, backfill and jacks installation. Nick shared the photos with me and patiently answered my questions clearly once they finished. The photos go into the file for a permanent record of the work done if any future inspector enquires about the depth of foundation etc. When I later checked on the work, the area of the repairs was neat and clean. Nick and Josh had carefully replaced the plastic sheeting that they had to pull back under the house. I was impressed as I have frequently found trash and dis-guarded materials left after other contractors have done work on the house. I will not hesitate to recommend Bay to anyone who needs foundation work done. They are very professional in all areas of their operations and provide excellent end product

We've recently had a lot on our plate with family health issues, however this project was one that did not require and additional worries. Honestly our very moist, mildew ridden crawl space was a real worry for us however Bay Foundation Repair took on our problems and took all the worry out of the scenario for us by resolving our horrible problem in a professional, friendly and most affordable manner. We signed the contract on 10-3 and ALL work was completed by 12-3-20. No short cuts taken and we are super happy with the results. From Beau McLaughlin the original advisor to Seth and Shawn the last "Super Employees" on the job I can say we now have a very healthy crawlspace and already are noticing a huge difference within our home where a lot of this ugliness was creeping in. The air quality has improved 100%. I have already referred this company to friends because I have total trust in this fine company.

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair three years ago at a fraction of the cost of JES's estimate. The work was done on time and to exceptional standards. My scary crawlspace with water puddles, drooping insulation and a mildew smell is now clean, dehumidified and continually monitored for moisture. I've had Bay Crawlspace come out twice for annual maintenance and some minor upkeep, and the office has been courteous, the workers arrived on time, and the work was accomplished as promised. BAY gets my highest recommendation.

BAY crawlspace and Foundation Repair recently finished a crawlspace encapsulation on my home. I am extremely pleased with the result! I had 4 companies come out for estimates. Bay had the best reviews and pricing of all of them. There were no high pressure sales tactics to sign today, only an honest review of what work was needed while keeping it within my budget. Rather than have everything as an add on i.e. insulation, hygrometer, etc., Bay includes it all and they still had a better price! From David who did the initial estimate, his administrative associate Sonya, Mike and his crew who did the encapsulation and Nathan who came out for the final inspection; all were very nice, answered every one of a gazillion questions without batting an eye, were always on time, cleaned up their work spaces and kept me informed every step of the way. Their customer service is on point and I highly recommend their company.

Very Professional and got the job done properly, Seth Lilienthal and his team were easy to work with, the electrician also did an above and beyond on the electrical side of the pump, and I also have lightings under my crawl which is not even included in the project, a few minor fix after the QA which I converse with after the inspection since we were both veterans and we both enjoyed our conversation, the advisor David Hendrickson did not give me any B with the quote and he compared the quote from the other company and Bay CrawlSpace has a way better pricing than J other company. If I’ll go for full project It’s $4000.00 less compared from the other company. I highly recommend Bay than J or A!

The only company you should consider. They earn and deserve the highest rating. I wrote this review 1 year ago and I still feel exactly the same. I just had another annual inspection. Seth Lilienthal, inspector did an outstanding job ! I will never have any other company perform work if I can have Bay Crawlspace do it.

My Wife and I had Bay perform our first annual inspection of our crawlspace and Dehumidifier. Matt and Art were on time, they called and asked if they could come earlier than their scheduled time. They were professional and courteous and we would highly recommend Bay and these gentlemen for your Crawlspace and Foundation Repair and follow-up inspections.

Bay Crawl Space is very helpful in checking in on our crawlspace each year and very prompt with any questions we have. We got our crawl space encapsulated by Bay in 2020 and are very happy with it!

Beau did a great job outlining all of our options and helped us settle on what we needed by answering all of our questions. Matt, James, and Seth did a great job encapsulating our crawlspace. All were very professional. There were a few items left to do after the initial installation and they had someone out to create a punch list just like they said they would. We appreciated having this additional individual come and check the work after it was completed. Definitely a trustworthy company. One thing to note is to check with your termite warranty company before you make plans to encapsulate as they may not extend their warranty. We didn't know this until after the install and I wish we were told before. There are companies out there that will give you a warranty but it costs an extra $1k plus because they require doing a termite treatment. Encapsulation was a pricey expense for us and cost was a concern so the heads up on this would have been nice.

I had piers installed under my living room floor. The shaking of the floor as it was walked across is no longer a problem. The crew that installed the piers were efficient friendly and respectful. Art, Rod and Jermeime did a great job and cleaned up nicely. Highly recommend!

We initially met with Beau, Sales Rep. The process takes place over several days. The insulation was removed and the floor joist were sprayed to remove mildew. The crawl space is covered with a lining and a humidifier is installed in the crawl space. Bay followed through to completion and kept us informed each day they were on-site. They cleaned up before they left. The last step to be completed is the QC person will check the job to ensure everything is in order. The only issue we have had is with the financing. This has required follow-up on our part and is still not resolved.

I requested an inspection of my crawlspace and had a quick response. All aspects of the encapsulation were found to be working properly and still very pleased with my decision to have Bay Crawlspace perform the work. Seth, Josh & Nick were extremely professional and did a great job

Great company, good price! Had a very difficult crawlspace : only 18 inches high, with multiple additions; very wet, with wood damage. The job was more complex, and labor intensive than expected. They kept working until i was satisfied, and honored the agreed contract price, upon completion. Job included encapsulation, dehumidifier, jack, and French drain. Thank you to all of the crews for your hard work. Chris, Seth, Mike, and Emmanuel just to name a few.
