Last year, we had settling issues on our house and several issues with our crawl space. We had the house jacked up in a couple places, a french drain put in, as well as a new vapor barrier. The team was on time and professional. I recently had an issue with my sump pump after weeks of heavy rain, and with the issue being under warrenty it was resolved very quickly. Seth L. was the Field Manager that came out, he was on time and very professional. He troubleshot the issue and realized we had a bad pump. To ensure it was fixed today, he picked up a pump on his way home from work and installed it the same day. I would certainly reccommend BAY for your crawlspace issues and needs.

I called and arranged an inspection for two weeks time. They were well aware of our location at that time- we live about 35-40 miles from their advertised Newport News location. There was a small amount of snow on the scheduled inspection day and I received a call that morning saying they'd have to reschedule. Though inconvenient, it was reasonable and a new inspection was scheduled for three weeks in the future, late in the day. Thirty minutes before the rescheduled time(now five weeks from original contact and having rearranged my schedule twice) I received a call telling me that we are out of their service area, no one was coming, and a cavalier "sorry to have wasted your time". Five minutes later, I received an automated text telling me they were on their way with the assigned mason's cell number. When I called him he expressed surprise that he had been called shortly before and told not to come. I asked to speak to the supervisor at the office and expressed my dissatisfaction at the timing of the cancellation, the fact they had known our location and scheduled us twice, and that we had no way to know we were out of their service area based on their online marketing. I feel that even if the purported reason for canceling was true(not so based on proximity to their advertised Newport News location)and they had just made a mistake, at that point they had an obligation to carry through on the commitment- just good business practice. I was told the general manager would call me the next day. That was a week ago and has never happened. Very disappointed- I feel they did not act in good faith and cannot be recommended to others. The technicians were prompt and explained all that needed done. Although the job took two sessions, the men worked to correct all the problems. An extra help came in the form of Seth Lilienthal, who had to help round up my skittish foster dog that had broken loose from his tether. Had it not been for Seth, I might still be out there chasing that poor, traumatized dog. Seth also was quite thorough in making sure the job was up to code and would pass inspection.

I write to let you know how pleased I am with Bay Crawl Space. They recently replaced my foundation vents and crawl space doors. Everything about the experience was exceptional! We had been having continued moisture issues with our crawl space. We had many estimates and decided to go with BAY Crawl Space. Beau took his time during our initial visit and even returned, upon our request, to answer additional questions prior to beginning the job. The installation crew was very professional. We did have a few items that needed adjusted after the project was complete. Beau, Nick, and Josh were all wonderful in the follow up and their word meant a lot in the adjustments that we needed. We were very happy with the crawl space encapsulation job done by our crew of Marcus, Austin, DeLeon and Troy. They adhered to the planned timeframe that we were originally given. They called when they were delayed and/or on the way. They answered and solved any questions or concerns we had. They were all very polite and considerate of our home and did a great job of keeping the work areas cleaned up at the end of each day. They updated us, complete with pictures, of their progress. I highly recommend Bay Crawl Space. Each aspect of their service is excellent. Michael provided the initial inspection and provided clear, accurate information regarding repair options and pricing. They worked with a complicated schedule to assist with our mechanical repairs. The workers are polite, efficient, clear with information, and cleaned up immaculately. I would have Marcus, Austin, and Delion return to work on my home every time.

BAY Crawlspace and Foundation Repair completed some adjustment to previous work in a timely and affordable manner. The crew of Nick and Josh worked efficiently and were professional in completing the work at my home and communicated to me each task that they were accomplishing throughout.

It's been two years since we had Bay do a complete encapsulation of our crawl space, of which they did an excellent job. Today was the annual inspection and cleaning of the humidifier filter and replace pertinent device batteries. Seth Lilienthal completed the service and did an outstanding job, was on time, professional and explained everything that he serviced.

We had dampness and mold issues in our crawlspace. They sprayed to kill the mold, then encapsulated the entire crawlspace with foam board and high quality plastic that is supposed to last 25+ years. Also installed a dehumidifier. The workers were great and professional - Nick, Josh, Stefan and crew, we thank you! They perform a quality check after the work and fixed any remaining issues for a top notch job.

Seth Lilienthal called one hour in advance of his arrival to let me know he was on his way. Upon arriving he explained he would make sure entire area was sealed, dehumidifier and condensate pump were working properly, clean dehumidifier filter, change batteries in sensors and check humidity. Once finished, he informed me everything looked great and the humidity was 48%. Bay encapsulated my crawlspace in 2018 to correct excessive moisture conditions. Since that time humidity levels are consistently 50%or less. Great job by Bay Crawlspace.

When I hired Bay, I didn't know that they would send another Bay employee to do a quality check. The original crew was fantastic and did a great job. The quality check person (Seth) did a minor repair (less than 2 hours of work) 1 month later. More home construction/improvement companies should use this as a "best practice". I've remodeled most of my house and this is the first time a company has followed up after the work was done to make sure it was done correctly. Thanks Bay!

Stefan and his crew were awesome. I work nights and sleep during the day, I barely knew that they were here. The yard was cleaned each day when they left, they worked quickly. I would recommend the guys to anyone!

Josh called and said he had finished up his last job early and could be at my house earlier than scheduled if I wanted. Bay Crawl Space came out to our house and did a thorough inspection of our crawl space. When reviewing their findings, they provided pictures to better help with understanding and they took the time to answer all of our questions. Bay Crawl Space was extremely organized and the work that was done by Mike, Nathan and crew was complete in a timely manner and the service was exceptional. After having some minor construction inside our house we needed Bay Crawl to come out and handle yearly maintenance on our dehumidifier. Seth was our service technician. He arrived on time, completed his work quickly and made sure to answer any questions we had regarding our equipment.

We used Bay Crawl Space Repair and Foundation Repair to encapsulate our crawl space and couldn’t be more pleased. We entertained a number of estimates and, after comparing, found Bay Crawlspace not only the best value but a great team to work with. Michael Rowlands, the sales person, did a full inspection of the crawl space to include pictures, sat with us and explained the problems, and offered a number of practical solutions. He walked us through all our options and costs and did not pressure us for an answer. We called him several times to get additional information and he was great in providing answers. The installation team did a great job. On the first day they introduced themselves an explained what they were going to do on each day. At the close of each day the team lead notified us what was done and what they were going to do the next day. Upon completion of the installation Chris Woolard did a quality control inspection and provided pictures of the completed job. Now – we have a back deck that was being replaced and was in the way of installing one of the vent caps. Once the old deck was removed we called Bay Crawlspace and Seth Lilienthal stopped by, installed the vent cap, and did an inspection of the installation, no charge. Bottom line – Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair is a first rate company that provided excellent service. We were MOST pleased to have selected them to encapsulate our crawl space.

We had 3 crawl space jacks installed to secure beams in our house. Throughout the whole process Bay was very helpful with recommendations and answered all of my questions. They will not try to upsell you or charge for unnecessary things like other companies. The installation team members, Marcus, Austin and Jermaine were very helpful, professional and courteous the day the work was done. They even answered questions I had about my foundation that were unrelated to the job. They did a great job of cleaning up and making everything look nice after they left, and even put in clean plastic to replace dirty torn covering that was under my house. At the end of the job they explained what had been done in addition to showing me pictures of the completed work. Great job guys!!
