BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

I originally had BAY come in when I bought my home in 2019 to perform an evaluation of my crawl space as I knew it needed some work. I got quotes from the big three in my area (JES,VFS,BAY) and found the Bay evaluation, proposal and cost to be the best balance of what I needed. They worked with me to form a plan, which ended up being a partial encapsulation, fungal treatment, leveling, dehumidifier with pump, a 12 mil vaper barrier and sealing around the foundation for my home. The install team of Austin, Matt, Misa and Troy were great along with Beau who did the evaluation. Now, they did have some minor issues to correct, but this was done promptly, without question and very quickly. I've since had them back to do regular checks and it has been Seth and Troy who have recently been under my home. Troy has now become very familiar with what I prefer and has worked hard to make it happen correctly. From the front office staff to the QA provided by their production manager I've been very pleased with the value, quality and customer service. As more things need to be done in my crawl space I will continue to return to them.

I went with Bay Crawl Space for replacement of my crawl space dehumidifier based on the recommendation from a colleague, and could not be happier with the service I received. Troy was responsive, on time, worked efficiently, answered ALL my questions, and did a thorough installation, making improvements to what was previously there, adding huge value to the overall package. Hired Bay Crawlspace to reset points on 33 year old chimney. On the day of the project, Gary and Lenny showed up on time. They were very professional shooting before repair pics and after repair pics. Project was completed in a day and a half. Cleaned up very well and advised me to please call back if there was an issue. Very satisfied with their work and will use again.

After my father passed away, a general contractor told my mother she needed extensive work on her foundation totaling almost $15,000. I immediately sought a second opinion and contacted Bay. Fred came out and was great. He was honest and the fact that he is an engineer gave me extra confidence in his opinions and suggestions. It was decided that a little mold removal and a new vapor barrier was what was needed. The foundation was fine and all normal to a home built in the 1960's. Thank you Fred for not allowing my mother to be taken advantage of. Nick and Josh showed up on time the day of install, introduced themselves and were professional and respectful. There were some personal items in the crawl space I could not move but they took care of it. They did it all and when they were done, you would have never even known they were here. Bay crawlspace encapsulated my crawlspace and installed a French drain, pump, and dehumidifier. The crawlspace is 2,500 square feet and the project was completed as scheduled in about 5 days. The end- result is exactly as they said it would be. It is clean, well lit, and dry. I was very pleased with the crew assigned – Eric, Aaron, Shawn, and Floyd. They arrived promptly at 8:15 each morning and worked hard all day to get the job completed. They were very personable, kept me informed of the job’s progress, and answered all my questions. After the project was completed a production manager inspected the work, and after 10 days sent a technician out to address some minor concerns and questions I had. I really appreciate Bay’s follow-up in this regard. I also want to commend the office staff, all of whom were very professional and accommodating.

Bay Crawlspace was one of 6 quotes to identify and fix the issue of water rising up from the ground into our crawlspace. We were very impressed with Lenny our sales rep right from the start. Bay was able to start nearly a month earlier than anticipated the team was on time... they worked hard and quickly. Each day they cleaned up all the work they preformed that day. The entire project took 3 days as they said. Each day we were given a wrap of the days work, and next steps. Each team member Rad, Jermaine and the foreman Art were so very professional and knowledgeable. I had read reviews on several different platforms before choosing to even call for a quote and I will tell you, they seem to be right on point. My wife and I are both very satisfied with the quality work that Bay Crawl Space performed on our home. The crawl space was cleaned, encapsulated, a dehumidifier was installed as well as a fresh drain system. It was great! Seth and Alex were very professional and did the work quickly and efficiently. Seth went over some work that we will need to have done in the future for our crawl space and said he would email a quote to us to advise on the cost of the work. The team of three worked very hard preparing the crawl space for the encapsulation and they did a beautiful job on every part of the install. They also cleaned up like they were never there. My home is in Chesapeake and was built in 1993. I discovered a massive mold and wood rot problem that damaged a main support beam and multiple floor joists. I contacted Bay and met with their representative Beau shortly after. Beau did an excellent job inspecting the damage and took his time explaining our options for the repairs and estimating the cost including mold remediation and prevention. Bay kept us informed of the repair date and estimated arrival time. The needed beam and joist repairs required multiple visits over a few weeks but the teams lead by Art and Seth were punctual, polite and professional. A follow up inspection of the repair by Chris convinced me to do additional repairs. When walking through my home, it now feels more stable than it ever has but be prepared that wall damage like sheet rock cracking may occur if the repairs require lifting your house. I would highly recommend Bay to anyone needing crawl space structural repairs and water vapor barrier installation.

They sent out a crew and they took care of everything that needed to be done a long with cleaning up. Had a crew of 4 and he crew Forman worked his butt off to ensure completion of the project. If possible ask for Austin, Eric, DeLion and Tyler too perform the work.

We hired Bay for a crawl space and foundation project. Their initial contact person, Michael Rowland, examined the space and provided a remediation plan and estimate. Very thorough and professional. The team, Aaron, Shannon and Travis, was led by Eric who gave us a complete report each morning and afternoon of what was to be done and what had been accomplished that day. They were hard working, professional, courteous and eager to please. A terrific experience. The space is clean and dry. The supports and replacement beams are well installed. We have used Bay Crawlspace for several properties that we have rehabbed and flipped in the past. Our latest property required some repair work to the joist underneath the house that was causing the flooring in the home to sag in the entry way. Seth and Troy arrived on time and made the repair quickly and to our satisfaction. We'll definitely be using Bay Crawlspace for all our other crawlspace requirements.

Seth and Garry came out today to do my yearly service. They both are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. They cleaned up so well when they finished that if you did not see them you never would have known they were there. In the past they insulted a jack stand and encapsulated my crawl space and installed a dehumidifier that is quiet and is working great. The people at Bay Crawlspace are the best! I had a terrible moisture and flooding issue in my crawlspace which caused a mold problem under my vinyl plank flooring. Beau came out and did a detailed inspection and was able to identify cost effective solutions for under my home. Mike, Aaron, and Shannon came out and did the work quickly and efficiently. Bay handled the whole deal, from ordering materials, getting the permit, scheduling an electrician to finalizing and completing the project. They had a real good hand in helping me with the finance company too. All the employees were polite, cordial, easy to work with and always had the right answers for my questions. They were just as good when they did my son's home too.
