Walter came to our home to give an estimate at the time we had agreed upon. The estimate took just a few minutes and his quote was very reasonable. He and his 5 man crew arrived and we went over one more time what was to be done. His crew started edging the gardens and trimming the shrubs while Walter went to a nursery to purchase a new shrub he was planting. All work was well done. They were cleaned up and leaving less than 2.5 hours after arriving. Walter's estimate was by far the most reasonable. He brought a five man crew and the work was done quickly. The final product looks great. Will definitely use them again.

They came on time. They worked well for several hours. The on site supervisor was not completely clear on the job that was contracted, and he had to contact the owner to clarify what was to be completed. In the end, it was all completed well, and I was happy.

The entire experience went very well. Walter is great. He came out the next day to give me an estimate (on a Saturday morning) and started the work the following Thursday. He made several suggestions to save me money by reusing items I already had. For instance, I was planning to disposed of some old, ugly concrete trim, but he suggested using it to frame my play area to contain the rubber mulch. I was skeptical but he made it look great! I am planning to use them for mowing and trimming this season. Very fair price; great experience.

I sent an email to three lawn care service providers for an estimate on taking care of our yard. I asked that they correspond with me via email. The next morning, Walter from Nueva Vista called me. I was a bit irked that he didn't email as requested but then I realized it might have been a language issue so I cut him some slack. He asked if he could stop by to give me an estimate that afternoon. I said it wouldn't be a good time and suggested Wednesday morning, March 13. We agreed on a 10am time. I walked my dog early to be ready for him. He never showed up and never called. I thought he might have written down the wrong date but he didn't show up the next day nor the next Wednesday. I thought about calling him but then I realized that there were hundreds of highly recommended lawn care companies on Angie's List. If you can't keep your appointments straight, I don't need to be relying on you to take care of my yard. Good luck.

we called and asked them to come out and clean up our yard for an open house and get the beds looking great - wanted curb appeal. I was not there but my husband states that they did "ok" for the price that they charged - would have expected more based on the dollar amount. Did what was asked but not above and beyond to make it look super special.

It took several weeks from the initial visit to completing the job. Both weather and a personal problem delayed the job. They came with a crew of five and the appropriate equipment. It took them about six hours and they did an excellent job. I have used them in the past for installing sod and plan to use them in the near future to install a small patio.

The entire experience was fine. Walter performed all duties as expected.

I am a very satisfied repeat customer for Walter Hernandez and his Nueva Vista Landscaping crew. As usual, I reached Walter directly by phone and he came out to the house the next day to make an estimate for the work to be performed. Walter then arranged to come out between snow showers to efficiently and professionally remove leaves from all gutters and all around my large yard. Walter and his crew were thorough and focused in their work, as they always are in my experience with them. They took care in their work not to harm the house or any of the landscaping. I know I can always rely on Walter and Nueva Vista Landscaping.

Even though it was the busiest part of the leaf clean-up season, I was pleasantly surprised that Walter was able to come give me an estimate (on a Saturday) just a couple of days after I called. The job entailed a huge clean-up of leaves in our entire yard, including a wooded back yard that hadn't had the leaves removed in several years. Walter's estimate was quite reasonable, and the work was scheduled for the next Monday. The crew arrived around mid-morning, worked for several hours, and did a great job. Many of the firms my neighbors use just bag the leaves and leave them piled high in front for trash pickup. I was pleased that Walter's price included leaf removal as well.

The work crew was efficient and made quick work of the yard and they came out on a weekly basis when they had other jobs to work nearby. The lawn always looked very nice after they left. The workers were courteous and professional to talk with. The only minor issue was at the end of the mowing season where weather interfered with their mowing schedule and they were not able to come out. I had called Walter and he was going to haev the crew out the next week but that didn't work out either as then it turned colder.

We are getting ready to put the house on the market and they made the yard really shine!

Nueva Vista was responsive to my request for a quote to clean out my gutters and remove leaves and debris from the lawn and flowerbeds. They visited the property the following day and provided a fair and reasonable quote to do the work. We agreed on terms and scheduled when the work would be completed. The work was thorough and completed on time. I will definitely use Nueva Vista again for my lawn care needs.

Walter Hernandez is terrific to work with - he came right over to give me an estimate and was available to start work within a few days. His crew showed up on time, worked constantly to get the work done in a timely way. After the work was completed, Walter provided explicit instructions for watering the new sod and the rest of the lawn. As of this writing - 11/11/2012 - the new sod is firmly rooted and the rest of the lawn is looking great. I am extremely pleased with the results.

Walter and his crew arrived this morning as promised. We called them to have the leaves removed from the front and back of our house. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a very good job. We used them last year also for leaf removal and we will continue to use them in the future.

Walter was very responsive. He came out the day after I called to give me an estimate and possible dates for service. His pricing was very reasonable. We agreed on a price and date of service. It turned out that we were going to be out of town on our service day, so I emailed Walter and asked him how he wanted to handle payment. He was great about it, and just asked that we send in the payment after services were completed. When we returned home that evening, the yard looked fantastic! They paid close attention to the flower beds and under the shrubs, so everything was neat and tidy. As requested, dozens of large leaf bags were waiting at the bottom of the driveway for pick-up. Our neighbors (who were home that day and watched the work being done) were so impressed they will be contacting Walter for quotes as well! We will be using Walter and his team again later on for a second leaf collection. Based on this experience I'm hoping that my leaf raking days are now behind me!

Walter and his crew were scheduled to start the work on a Monday, and the job was supposed to take two days. However, it had rained the night before, and, after assessing the grounds, the crew determined the trees were too wet for them to climb safely. To make up for the lost day, Walter showed up on Tuesday with two crews and was able to complete the job in one day. The crew was very professional, they thoroughly removed all the debris, and even removed a small tree that was dying at no extra charge. We have no complaints and would highly recommend Nueva Vista Landscaping. Thank you, Walter and crew, for the great service!

He was professional and his people did a great job. He did have to get after some of his people to clean up their lunch garbage the first day so my german shepard puppy would not get into it. Some was left behind on friday but saturday was fine. The persons who left their garbage did apologize the next day.

Walter and his crew are amazing and I won't use anyone else for my landscaping needs. Walter came out and gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. He and his crew came out to do the work and they did a fabulous job. They used mulch that I really liked and they completed everything to our satisfaction. They even came back and added mulch to some other trees at no extra cost. I'm getting ready to call him again to have them take care of our leaves and to do some grass seeding.

They have been doing our yard for more than a year now. They come out, cut and edge our grass, and go. They are very quick and extremely efficient and we are very happy with their service. It's a very reasonable price given that we have a large front yard.

Included in the work performed, the Nueva Vista crew trimmed tree branches, removed a small tree that was crowding others in a bed, trimmed hedges, and removed fallen branches. What I appreciate so much is that Nueva Vista takes care of my yard with great care and thoroughness, so that the results are immaculate. I can count on them not to miss anything. Their work on my yard is so impressive that a curious neighbor came over to exclaim how great everything looks, and wanting to know more about the crew doing the work.

Nueva Vista Landscaping mows my lawn every 2 weeks, mulched around my trees, and cleaned my gutters. All work was done professionally at competitive rates. I was very pleased with their perfomance and would recommend them highly.
