Hired Nueva Vista to mow lawn of my father's property after he passed away until we could sell it. Walter went out there and gave me an estimate without me even having to go meet him; the price was reasonable and he was willing to only mow every other week (some places only do weekly) so we went ahead with it. I was elated at how nice the place looked -- they did a better job than I had been doing! They trimmed up the scrub brush growing along the sheds and things without nicking them up, they got areas I was too scared to drive a mower over and they even carried a bunch of brush I had left in the yard to the brush pile I hadn't even told them where to find. In general, excellent job of taking care of the yard -- would highly recommend them.

I received a visit and a very reasonable estimate the day I requested the estimate. The work was done quickly, professionally and the crew completely cleaned up after themselves. They added the edging work on the spot for me. My yard looks 100% better. I have had work done by Nueva Vista before and will definitely call them whenever I need work done again. I recommend them without reservation.

Initial plan was to have sod installed throughout backyard. Due to budget restrictions, we had the rep come back out and discussed doing in 3 phases. Both parties agreed to the approach. I asked for a written estimate and schedule. Never heard back. Posted several comments over the last week - 10 days, zero response. Now looking for other contractors.

I wanted the work done quickly and Nueva Vista was able to give me a very reasonable quote the next day and schedule the work within a week. They were punctual, professional and did a very thorough job, including some small additional tasks I asked for on the spot. They cleaned up beautifully and I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend them and will use them for future yard and landscaping needs.

Walter the owner, who came out originally to evaluate the work, provided an estimate and made recommendations about the work that needed to be done. The crew shown up on the date and time they agreed to come. They work as a team and perform the work very quickly. Their work was very professional and they left the property looking great. I would definitely bring them back to do any work in the future.

Walter came out and walked the property with me. He coordinated the dates to do the work with us. The work performed included cleaning gutters, mulching garden beds, and trimming bushes and trees. The crew worked very quickly and it was well done. I would recommend Walter and his company very highly.

OMG YOU MUST HIRE THESE GUYS!!! Walter actually answered the phone on my first call. He came for an estimate, we agreed on a price, and they showed up on time. He brought 9-10 guys and they worked like a whirlwind. My property went from a jungle to a manicured palace. I will most definitely hire them on an ongoing basis and recommend them wholeheartedly. They did what they said, when they said, for the price they said.

Very well, I couldn't be happier. They were very thorough and made sure the year was cleaned up nicely. They had some very complicated branches that were very high above our fence and they flawlessly cut it down without damage to anything.

Great!!! The owner, Walter, came out promptly to look at the property and followed up right afterwards with an estimate. The pricing is very reasonable and the service is great! The team comes out every other week on same day. The billing from Maria, the office manager, is also consistent and easy to pay! We will continue to use Nueva Vista for lawn service and other landscape needs!

From the first estimate for mowing and trimming our 1 1/2 acre lot, that includes two steep embankments, Nueva Vista has been doing an excellent job! We received a prompt visit from Walter who provided us a written estimate within days ,and we have been using their services two seasons and plan to continue. Their employees arrive as scheduled each week, which is important so we can ensure our dogs are in the house, they mow and trim and then blow the trimmings off the driveway, sidewalks and porch. Additionally they blow off the pollen, leaves, etc from our back deck each week which saves me from having to sweep it :) The crew is extremely professional and very courteous. We made the switch from Mow Cow and Walter's crew even does our steep embankments on alternate weeks. Our yard looks the best it has in years and their services frees us up to enjoy the weekends. We are confident in their services. In the Fall we plan to have them trim our burning bushes as well as our boxwoods. Excellent prices, excellent service!

Walter and his crew replaced our weedy, uneven lawn with new sod. They also built some artful concrete borders around a few planting beds, in place of old loose bricks. Walter was delightful to work with, and we found his rates very reasonable in comparison to other quotes. From scheduling to implementation, everything went very smoothly and was efficient. I was pleased with Walter's commitment to making sure our lawn was done well. He noticed an issue with grubs in the yard, and took corrective steps to address the problem to make sure our lawn was successful. He worked with the sod vendor to adjust their cutting schedule so we were guaranteed fresh sod, and was willing to have his crew work late to make sure it was laid the same day it was cut. He made thoughtful suggestions for shaping beds, and had a good eye for quality. He gave us good guidance on care, and noted a few potential trouble spots to watch out for with water access and sun exposure. Would absolutely recommend Nueva Vista for lawn and hardscape work. We've had a lot of contractors on our property in the last two years, and Walter was one of the most enjoyable to work with.

They're fantastic! It's almost embarrassing how many mowing companies we have tried. Either they don't show up when they say they will, charge for visits that never happened, or spend all of five minutes and it looks like something a kid from the neighborhood could do just as well for a lot less. Nueva Vista takes their time and are meticulous. They completely clean up after themselves and don't leave a trace. They also take time to edge each and every visit. We are thrilled!

Walter and his team are very professional and good at communication. They arrived very early in the morning and jumped right into work. The team is hard working and attention to details. Besides their excellent work, the price is quite reasonable. We will definitely hire them back for next year.

He did not perform the work. Never contacted me to give me a date to perform the work requested. Unfortunate, I used his company last year and the service was outstanding. Gave an F because on non response. The last contact date is an estimated date, I do not remember exact date.

This is my fourth year hiring Nueva Vista and once again they did a fantastic job. Bottom line up front; Walter can be difficult to get a hold of and language barrier can be an issue at time but their craftsmanship and professionalism are bare none the best I have seen in the area. They did a fantastic job cleaning all of my flower beds, trimming all hedges pulling weeds and rectifying all edges. They also trimmed a bunch of large Leland cypress and vibratum on my neighbors yard that was creeping into mine. This year I also had Walter and his crew plant a large weeping Redbud which needed special care for placement and the movement of one popup sprinkler head. All the work came out great - again. Walter was unable to acquire the leaf mulch that I like but called all over to find a similar solution which I am happy with while not adding to the overall cost. To provide a scope of the job; we use around 10 yards of mulch for all of our beds (front and side yards). They were on time, and started their long day at 0700 with a handshake and a smile; something you do not see very often. I also appreciate seeing the same faces year after year with his crew. We went over all the work that was performed and besides a few minor things missed we are very pleased with their work. A little tip for other readers is to write down what you want completed if you are super attentive to details like I am and pass that along as a checklist. This year Nueva Vista went out their way to fix a broken irrigation valve that was caused by another contractor working a cement patio for us a month earlier. The entire irrigation box had to move about a foot and all new valve solenoids and plumbing had to be replaced; they went out and acquired all requisite materials without question. Walter had no problem creating an invoice for the contractor that was willing to pay for repairs. This was not included in our dialog but was just noticed the day they were scheduled to be there.
