I was at work when he came and saw the work that was done when I returned home. I was very impressed. The work appeared to have been done with great care. Walter even helped me water the area because I told him I could not get back home in time to do it. So he agreed to help me with the watering before he left the job. I was very grateful for his kindness. After the 5" of rainfall we had two days after the work was completed, the grass seem to be reviving well. Only time will tell if the work is totally successful.

I am very happy with their work. I looked to Angie's List to help find a good landscaping company and this recommendation has been a winner. The only problem I had initially was the delay in making the first contact. But it was at the beginning of the summer season when they were very busy and I have had no problems contacting them since then. They are very courteous and conscientious and hard working. I will continue to use them both for lawn maintenance and for adding additional features in the back yard as well as upgrading the front yard over the next few years.

He is excellent. I am about to hire him to trim some trees and put in a sprinkler system. They are on time, very patient with us, and communicated everything to us. He told us all of this information before we knew we were going to hire him to do the job. We built a relationship with this company. He is going to cut our grass every two weeks and do snow removal in the winter. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They were prompt and professional. The estimate was very fair and we are considering them.

Needed someone to do some yard work for a home sale. Walter was very professional and responsive from the estimate to the completion of the job. He was very knowledgeable about the plants we have and made great suggestions that really payed off. He was rained out the first day and came back the next day, which was Sunday, to finish. He never asked for payment until the job was completed. I will use them again.

This was a last minute request but Walter worked to fit us in which was very much appreciated. He was extremely professional and pleasant and they did a quality job in the yard. I would highly recommend them to others.

I called this company after looking at their listing for over a year. I finally got tired of looking at the sad state of my lawn. I tried to keep up but I dont have the time and at this point I dont have the skill to deal with it. I called Walter on a Wednesday and he agred to come on Monday my day off. Walter walked the grounds and told me what I need and stated he was confident he could get my lawn full of clover, stick weeds and crab grass to turn around. I told him my immediate needs was mowing, mulching and I wanted some flower/plants around my trees. I agreed to go on a field trip to get some plants so I could have what I wanted. I left the supplies in my back yard and Walter came the next day with some workers and cleaned up the lawn. When I came home from work I was so pleased to see the plants, mulching, trimmed bushes. He edged and neatly added the wonderfully smellin mulch. My town house is on the end where the bank of mailboxes are, so this lawn issue really getting to me. Walter is a knowlegable young man and explains the options and costs. In 3 weeks he'll be aerating, seeding , fertilizing and all that good stuff. I have asked him to cut my lawn weekly. Im pretty confident if he sees something that requires attention, it'll get done since he's there every week. I think I can get my lawn back on track and that this firm will do it. I'm thankful to Walter and his team for their fast work, attention to detail and reasonable rates. I smiled as I pulled off to go to work today.

Work was done quickly, efficiently (one man used a blower to blow away the bees while another cut the hedge in an attempt to not kill the bees) and clean up was perfect.

I am very pleased with their work. They are reliable and do a very nice job. Their price is resonable.

They provide weekly lawn service (mow, edge, remove leaves in fall, etc) for me. I have approximately 1/4 acre lot. They are always here at the same time (predictability is great!) unless rain is expected. Then they will work around the weather. Very realable and they do a great job. I hired him once to trim my bushes and put down mulch but I found I could do it much cheaper myself and have not hired him for that again.

Walter called while we were on our way to meet him for the initial consultation with him to reschedule. To his credit, when we told him we were on the way, he made the effort to meet us at the appointed time. We discussed in detail the work that needed to be done and agreed upon a price. The work was scheduled for the next week and we were advised it would take one day. Work was cut short the first day by a storm. It was difficult to tell what work was missed because of the storm and what work was being overlooked. We sent Walter both an e-mail and a fax with a punch list of the original work to be done as a reminder. We received no response to either one. Not all of the requests were completed. Of particular note was a specific request to move eight medium size rocks from random spots on the front lawn to the back yard. This was not done; instead, the rocks were arranged standing on end in a circle around the base of the tree on the front lawn. We had specifically asked that the rocks be moved as they were in violation of HOA regulations. We were told they were not moved because they were "expensive" rocks. We have not yet figured that one out but will admit there was a slight language problem at times. We also had asked that latticework panels stapled to the fencing be removed and discarded; we were assured they would be; after pointing out that this work was not done, we were advised it was not done because of the lack of "tools." The tools required at most would have been a pair of pliers. In general, the labor done was done right but we would never ask for any actual landscape planning or work to be done. The lack of communication was frustrating. We gave our daughter an envelope with the quoted amount plus a sizeable tip as we could not be there at the end of the work day, fully expecting all the work to have been done. It was not and again, the reasons given were if nothing else, creative. We would highly recommend that any work requested be supervised to ensure that all requests are met and you get your agreed upon money's worth. The work done was done right but not all the work was done.

They were very good, they did the trimming and edging. I only left for someone else because they were doing my weeding as well for the same price.

Owner of company came and gave us estimate. He was professional. Gave reasonable estimate. Very flexible on when to come as we had to change dates several times. When they came to do actual work- plenty of folks to get job done in the estimated two days. Very collaborative effort throughout entire job. He continually was making sure what he was doing was what I had intended. Everything looked just as we had desired when he was completed. I was away when he finished the job, so he planned on coming back to make sure I was satisfied and if there was anything missed. It took him about two weeks to get back, but he did not expect to be paid until he had reviewed all the work with me and my husband. So we didn't really mind. Overall, great experience.

Called and set up an appointment on April 15 2010. I waited for two days and never again heard from the vendor. GREATLY DISAPPOINTED! - Had difficulty locating someone available. This sort of "defeats" the purpose behind my joining the list.

Excellent. Walter came out and gave an estimate of the work, then the next week returned with his crew and performed exactly as I wanted. He checked with me several times while the work was being performed to ensure that I was happy. When they finished, he had me check to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. Excellent job.

The estimate was done in a very timely manner. The work was exceptional and very convenient as they were able to provide the service on a Saturday.

Walter came out and gave us an estimate for mulching, weeding and laying approximately 600 sq ft of sod to expand our backyard in areas that were covered by brush and small trees. He was very professional and knowledgable. He could have sold me a few additional bushes and a blue spruce that I wanted to be planted in the backyard, but instead suggested moving some from the front to the back, which saved me several hundred dollars. I would higly recommend Walter and his company. They were punctual and cleaned up after the job was complete. Our yard has never looked better after working with Walter and Nueva Vista Landscaping.

We thought the pricing was fair and that they were professional. For the price, we thought they did a pretty good job. We don?t have much to compare them to but we were happy with their responsiveness.

The estimate was basically what you would expect. He gave suggestions and was good about going over options and suggestions. He took measurements and all. He seemed very professional.

We found Nueva Vista throught Angie's List. I called, and Walter came out and gave us an estimate. The estimate was quite reasonable, and we agreed to have them do the work. Walter and his crew came out a few days later (on the day promised), and did an extraordinary job. Our yard has never looked so good. They removed leaves, mulched and edged our plant beds, and trimmed and tidied up the whole yard, including patches covered with hard-to-clean ivy. They even weeded the beds, removing stray plants that had invaded. Walter was very pleasant and polite to deal with. We will certainly use Nueva Vista again, and highly recommend them.

Owner Walter is polite and professional. He has provided me lawn service since October 2009. Very fair in pricing. I have used for snow removal three times this year.

Walter is an exceptionally nice young man. He was very responsive to my phone calls, and stayed in touch as we worked around the winter weather and my schedule. He was prompt, worked quickly, and was open to my last minute requests when I asked him to do something extra in the back yard. The work and cleanup were done quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with Nueva Vista and we are already planning a re-do of my backyard, and Spring planting needs. I highly recommend Walter and his company, and have already done so to a friend!
