Their prices were good in relation to others. The owner seemed very nice and we have been happy with their services. They charge $47 every two weeks. We have an agreement with him to come out.

Walter and his crew showed up when they said they would on a Thursday morning at 7 a.m. to start the job. They were here Thursday, the following Monday, Tuesday and the job was completed on Wednesday. He couldn't make one day (Saturday) due to a problem with the truck, but he called us to notify us that they wouldn't be able to make it, which we really appreciated because we have run into so many companies that just don't show up and we have no idea what's going on. Walter kept us in the loop the entire time. Every evening the guys cleaned up and put their tools in one location. When the job was all done they cleaned up the entire site like they had never even been there. They had fertilizer on the driveway when they were working and had moved some of our stuff out of the way, but when they left everything was back to the way it was. They were very respectful and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend Neuva Vista to anyone. Our backyard looks amazing! Walter also made sure we knew what to do to take care of the fresh sod they put down. He gave me instructions on how to water it and suggested where to place sprinklers and how to tell when it's had enough water. Overall they did an incredible job and we're very happy.

I found Nueva Vista on Angie's List. I called and spoke to Walter (owner) asking when they would be able to give me an estimate for the work I needed done. I explained that I had a 50th Wedding Anniversary on July 14, 2012 and wanted it completed by then if possible. Walter stated that should not be a problem and he would look at the property and have me an estimate that afternoon. He called back approximately an hour after I contacted him and had the estimate! I could not believe the responsiveness that he delivered. He gave me a quote of $700.00 for all work and they would supply the mulch. Since it was 4th of July week and all the storms happened the previous Friday, Walter stated they could work either Thursday or Friday, we agreed upon Friday since I would be home that day to supervise. After seeing their work, I really did not need to be there at all! The days that week were very HOT so they stated they would be there at 7:30 am. They were very punctual! I don't blame them, it was over 100 degrees that day! When Walter and his two employees arrived they were very professional and made sure they met every expectation that I had in regards to what I wanted done. They were even willing to assist in things that I felt were not part of the quoted payment. They worked all day from 7:30 to around 4:30 with only a 30 minute lunch! I could not believe the "Heart" that they put into their work. The mulch material that they use is way above my expectation and has worked very well and looks beautiful! They paid attention to every detail and made everything look wonderful! Nothing was left behind and the clean up was consistent throughout the day. When my husband returned from work he could not believe his eyes. He thought the yard was beautiful too! He was amazed at their detail and how well they cleaned up everything. He actually asked if they could come back in the fall. WONDERFUL JOB AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS & FAMILY

They did and outstanding job. Walter recommended a carbonized leaf mulch that looks great and is supposed to perform better than tree bark mulch. They did the job on time at a reasonable price and we couldn't be happier with the result. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The front yard was overgrown and crowded with weeds going out of control. I had asked them to move whatever they could to the back yard area bordering the fence and mulch area. A few things had to removed such as two bushes in the front and two bushes on the side. The rest of the front plants & bushes were re-located to the back. That also required a different plan for the front after everything was relocated. Walter went to the nursery with me and we selected some new plants for the front of the house and side area. The new plants cost 977.00 after Walter's discount he was able to get as a contractor. They totally cleaned it up of all the weeds, planted all the new plants and edged the mulch area front and back. The price included mulch (approximately 6-7 yards) of good quality fine mulch. I had originally asked for additional soil to raise some areas and improve the soil in the side. They didn't do that but when I paid the crew I told them about it and they were back the next day and added the extra soil and seeded it. I was very pleased with the work and would use Walter again in the future.

We have used Walter and his crew for weekly lawn mowing for over a year. They come every week and do a fabulous job. We have been very happy with Nueva Vista Landscaping. Our neighbor also hired them once he saw the great job they did. Walter came out the same day we first called and gave us an estimate. The crew came the next week and every week during the season (Mar-Oct)

I just purchased a house and the previous owner let the backyard (lawn and landscaping) get completely overgrown. My daughters didn't even want to play in it. I contacted Walter and he came over right away for an estimate. His estimate not only beat the other estimate I received by a good amount, but he listened to exactly what I wanted accomplished with the yard. His crew showed up and went right to work. The yard was such a mess I couldn't even visualize exactly what needed to be done for each planting (i.e. which plants to keep, which to pull out), but the men somehow shaped it into an oasis. I also had an idea of what to do with all these big rocks that were left over after they removed a water feature and the men politely suggested it might be dangerous for my daughters because that would make it unstable if they crawled on them. After they pointed that out, I knew they were absolutely right and their placement idea was so much better and safer! I couldn't be more pleased. And most importantly, my daughters took one look at the transformation and asked if we could have a picnic in our new backyard that day. I am glad to have found a company I can use time and again.

On the day of construction, Walter showed up on time with a double crew. All of his staff were hardworkers and polite. Walter confirmed the plan and was responsive to some minor last minute changes. By the end of the first day all of the lines and sprinklers were emplaced and buried and the system was tied into the main water line. The second morning, Walter and one other man took care of setting the heads and programming the controls. Walter them patiently explained the control system to me and then left with a promise to be availble should we have any problems or questions. This was a great experience and left me feeling very satisfied with Nueva Vista's ability to do this type of work. They were very price competitive and we feel we received a very good value for our investment. We found Nueva Vista on Angie's List and highly recommend them to others.

All the great reviews about this company are true. I called Walter to schedule an estimate and he fit me in on a Saturday. I received estimates from a couple of other companies and Nueva Vista's estimate was in the middle of the other two companies. Walter arrived on time the morning of the service and brought five workers with him. They cleaned out all the flower beds and pruned the trees and bushes around the entire house. They listened to everything I wanted and accommodated all my requests. They worked extremely hard during a hot day and only took a lunch break. They laid about 12 cubic feet of mulch and disposed of all the unwanted plants, bushes, and trash. I had a bunch of landscaping rocks that were scattered all around the flagpole. They moved half the rocks under my deck as requested. NV had to come back the next day to finish the flagpole area. They picked up all the remaining rocks around the flagpole and even removed two snakes that were hiding under the rocks. They dug up a bunch of rocks from the area and proceeded to wash all the mud and dirt off them before placing them back in the new landscaped circle around the flagpole. I can't believe they washed all the rocks, which was greatly appreciated. After they added the rocks back around the flagpole, they added a ring of mulch and topsoil (that I purchased) around the rocks. They laid grass sod around the landscaped area to finish off the area. They cleaned everything up and left my yard looking great. These guys work extremely hard and take pride in what they do. They will treat your house as if it is their own. I highly recommend NV to anyone. I enjoyed their work and effort so much that I tipped them another $100.

Wlater's crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were organized and professional. Their work was beyond my expectation. They dressed up the mulch beds and shrubs and put down 4" of carbonleaf mulch which really looks good. They cleaned up like they were never here. They also found some flagstone buried under the old mulch and reset it. Now we have a walkway that we didnt even know was there! They not only fixed the small retaining wall, but they also dressed up another one that sits on the opposite side of my driveway. I am already trying to figure out what my next project is going to be for them to do. By the way, I have had other lawn service providers and these guys stand head and shoulders above them. You can tell they are dedicated to quality.

Walter's team did a great job. Worked fast and efficiently (he brought several guys to do the work). We have used him before, he does great work at a competitive price.

I contacted Walter regarding a large job in my newly purchased house. It was a very neglected two-acre property. He gave me a very competitive quote for tree and brush clearing, grading and seeding. His crew of 6 -8 guys worked 8 hours a day for over a week. They were punctual and professional. They communicated with me each day regarding what I wanted done in each part of the yard. They completed each task with great care to detail. I will definitely use them again. In fact, I have neighbors ask often who completed the work on my property as they are equally impressed. I will refer them to anyone who asks.

They did a good job for us. They are very anxious to make sure that you are happy with the work done. If something wasn’t right or there has been a misunderstanding, they made a very significant effort to make it right. They came back, without charge; we had a very serious drainage problem that they had left last season. It took a couple of visits to actually solve it, not their problem. We had a spring which we had rain after rain, and we needed to have the drainage addressed. It took a couple of tries to get it. They came back and did it; it was wonderful.

Walter and his crew are my saviors! Yard work is not my forte and I always joke that I have a brown thumb, so I don't dare touch anything green.I first came across reviews for Nueva Vista on Angie's List last summer and as I needed my spring yard cleaning, decided to send him an e-mail. I will say that luckily one of the reviewers stated that he isn't very responsive in that way. Due to that I waited a couple of days and when I didn't hear from him, I gave him a call and spoke to him. He came to my home to give me a very reasonable estimate for the work, which included cleaning all of our beds, trimming the bushes, putting down new mulch, pulling out a dead hedge in our front yard and planting three smaller bushes and some hostas in its' place. At that time he pointed out that he thought a tree in our front yard was not doing well, but I thought he might be mistaken, so didn't want to do anything about it at that time. The crew came out when they said they would, promptly completed the work and did a wonderful job.I had them come back another time, because I was having an issue with crab grass and weeds overrunning my beds. They swiftly took care of that, again for a reasonable price.Over the fall I realized that Walter had been right about the tree in my yard and it had died. I knew I needed to get it removed, but was dreading the cost, as people from work told me that the stump removal could get quite expensive. I called Walter and he and his crew came out and removed the tree and the stump for $550. I was thrilled.I called Walter again 2 days ago for my yard spring cleaning and to line my front beds with pavers. I will also be using him for our mowing throughout the season. He came out the next day and gave me a quote for everything and will be here by the end of this week to start the mowing.I am thrilled with Walter and his crew and honestly can say I won't be using anyone else for my yard and landscaping needs.

I can't say enough good things about their service. Walter Hernandez is the owner, was wonderful. He called me back immediately regarding both sets of services. Came out immediately to give me estimates. He was polite and courteous. The other quotes I got from vendors were significantly higher - almost triple for the tree limb removal. His men were also courteous and did the work thoroughly and efficiently and on time as they promised. My husband and I are very grateful and want everyone to share our experience.

The old mulch lines hadn't been edged in several years and were quite raggedy looking. The crew arrived as scheduled and did a great job, it looks terrific now. Walter is very good about returning calls promptly.

After getting several estimates from other companies we went with him because of the great reviews on Angie’s List and his quote for the work included a lot of extras (trimming bushes and redefined mulch beds) that the others did not list in their estimates. Walter and his crew did the work in one day, on a date we scheduled in advance; starting at 8 in the morning and going nonstop until sunset. He did everything that he had in his quote and more.

We purchased our house from landscapers and, as such, it is HEAVILY landscaped. Walter came out and gave a fair estimate for the work and completed it when promised. Walter and his crew did an absolutely top notch, amazing job. I am definitely going to contact him for help this Spring/Summer.

Our experience has been outstanding overall. The crews are punctual and very careful around the flower beds that are edged with stone pavers. Leaf removal was performed quickly and efficiently.

They were friendly, prompt and did not do the job right. I happened to be home and caught them leaf blowing all of the leaves underneath my bushes. When I complained they did rake the leaves up properly so they righted their mistake.

I can't wait to call Water again in the spring for mulching and edging. He showed up on time for the estimate, was extremely polite and gave us a very fair price. His team actually came a day early to perform the work to avoid predicted rain the following day. I was thrilled with how thorough a job they did. They even fixed a broken shed door without being asked. Excellent, excellent experience.
