Kevin came out initially and surveyed the site. Of all the contractors I used for estimates, Kevin was the only person who fully explained the process, had a promise not to jack up the rates if they found something once they started digging, and quick installation. It was also the lowest price by an order of magnitude! I signed up for JS Jackson after the contract was signed, they arrived promptly with a team of three individuals. The window was installed in a day, but they had forgotten the ladder at the shop. Kevin returned the next day and installed the ladder. Heather, the contracting officer, promptly called to schedule the county inspection. The window passed with flying colors. All in all, the process was easy and the JS Jackson folks were great to work with. So far there have been no problems with the install.

It was a three man crew. I had a basement egress window installed. They had to enlarge an existing window to make it a legal egress. I was very impressed by the whole experience. Not only were there on time...they also finished in a very timely fashion. It was from 9:30am until 4:30pm with a lunch break. My boyfriend is in the building business and he was very impressed by the skill these gentlemen showed.

It was easy to schedule an estimate at my convenience, and I priced a couple other providers, as well. JS Jackson was by far the least expensive (in one case less than half the cost of another provider). They were flexible on scheduling the work to be done, allowing me to schedule more than a month out from when I signed the contract to complete the work. The effort was completed in a single day (another provider told me it would take three), and was done before I got home from work. My wife reported that the workers were punctual and polite. When the project was complete, they scheduled a county inspection for me, and it passed inspection without issue. It has rained quite hard several times since the window was completed, and the window is not letting any water into my basement. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful! Nice staff, great crew, beautiful work!! I will use Jackson Construction for my new window as soon as we can get that work started. Quality workmanship, nice people and a fair price. What more could you ask for in a home improvement project?

It was fantastic. That one was outstanding. They were professional and showed up on time. Apologized for what they thought was taking a long time and I expected it to take longer. They were very efficient. They contacted myself or my husband if they had any questions or concerns or just wanted to share information about egress window going in. If there was a small issue they quickly remedied it. They took care of everything. They were professional and got the job done. They were polite.

They provided detailed quotes for each window with very competitive prices. After all the county permits were acquired work began and boy did these guys hustle! They took care of everything that came up unexpectedly with no extra charges. They finished on time. They made sure to keep me updated while work progressed. I'm very happy with the crew and the job they did (Kevin & Josh were two of the most entertaining guys you'll meet!).

JS Jackson was responsive in every way. Jerry came to our house quickly, responded with an estimate soon after, and provided us a good level of detail with that estimate. The work was done promptly, professionally, and with care. We would definitely contact JS Jackson again in the future. Really great firm.

Kevin came out for the estimate and handled the job. The price was competitive to the other estimates I received, and this is their specialty so I trusted them to have the expertise to do the job right. They were on time and did great work. They spread the dirt from the dig around a tree and even put down seed and hay. They dug very deep looking for the drain tile along the house. I was very pleased with their work and the end product.

Jerry and the crew were pleasant, clean and timely. They came and bid the project and were willing to be flexible on start date. They filed the permit. Installation took a day and the worked straight through. They did a nice job of limiting the damage to the ground cover and work to make sure the process and permitting would go smoothly. Very satisfied and a positive experience.

Overall it went all right. We ran into few issues during the installation. The team was however on top of things. My window was on a very tough spot under an overhang and next to power and other cables. Though they ended up cutting one of the other cables, they were very apologetic. The initial work took less than a day. They dug the well and cut the concrete as needed. They were very clean and applied grass seeds to areas whey they dug. Due to clearance of the overhang we ran into an inspection issue. I called and spoke with Jerry. Next day he was out on my backyard taking pictures and making phone calls to the fairfax county inspection office. In few days, team came up and dug a bit more. It passed with flying callers. For the price, it was the best value for us. I would highly recommend this team.

They arrived on time and completed the job in less time than they said they would. They did a beautiful job, and our windows look beautiful. They were very careful not to make a mess in our house or in our yard, and they were respectful of our infant daughter's nap schedule.

I was very impressed with the installers and contact person from Jackson construction. They did a fantastic job with replacing our old windows with the new ones. There were a total of 5 people installing our windows and doors. They were done in 4 1/2 hours and did a professional job. Very nice, clean cut and friendly staff. I would highly recommend them. They were contracted out from Lowes and I will definitely use them in the future. :-)

Jerry's company was referred to me via Service Magic. He was very nice to work with - understood the problem and my needs really fast. Their estimates were lower than those of the others who positioned themselves as "we charge a medium price for high end products and services". When they came to work, it was raining heavily but they still soldiered on, and yet kept the house clean and they planted grass seeds to repair the lawn they had to dig up. The quality of the window, well, well covers, and well protective grate is pretty good. They cut into the concrete but there wasn't much noise or debris. When they were done in a day, there was no sign of "new construction" from inside or outside - unless one looked really hard. This job turned out to be far better than I had expected.

I found the install crew of Mr. Jackson, Chris and Mike to be very professional and courteous. They arrived around 8 AM and worked through to about 5 PM. They did a great job installing the windows and were mindful of my stuff when they were working inside the house. I loved the fact that they were all native English speakers so communication was not a problem. They were flexible with me when I changed my mind about the color of the Aluminum trim that goes around the window and were patient and responsive to my questions about the install as it was progressing.

IT WENT TERRIBLE FROM THE BEGINNING. J S JACKSON CONSTRUCTION NEVER INFORMED US THAT A COUNTY BUILDING, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING PERMITS WERE REQUIRED FOR THIS TYPE OF JOB. THE CLOSETS WERE NOT COMPLETED, BUT THE ELECTRICAL WIRING FOR ONE OF THE CLOSETS WAS DONE BY AN UNLICENSED ELECTRICIAN. I HAD TO HIRE A NEW CONTRACTOR TO TAKE DOWN THE CLOSETS AND REDO THE ELECTRICAL BECAUSE IT WAS DONE WRONG AND WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION. KEVIN JACKSON SHOWED UP LATE EVERYDAY (AFTER 11:00AM) AND SHOOK HIS HEAD NO EVERY TIME WE EXPLAINED HOW THE BATHROOM AND CLOSET WAS TO BE DESIGNED. HE KEPT TRYING TO CHANGE THE DESIGN THAT WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL BATHROOM DESIGNER. HE NEVER BROUGHT THE DESIGN DOCUMENTS TO WORK WITH HIM AND NEVER READ THE CONTRACT. KEVIN JACKSON INSTALLED THE FRAMING FOR THE CLOSET ON TOP OF OUR CARPET (INCLUDING THE PADDING) AND ON TOP OF THE CARPET PROTECTION SHEET. THE CLOSETS WERE NOT BUILT TO THE DIMENSIONS AS STATED IN CONTRACT. I NEED MORE ROOM TO TELL YOU EVERYTHING!
