Showed up on time, were very specific on what they thought they could do during the time allotted, followed my direction on what I wanted done and got right to work. They were very explicit on other services they could provide, gave me a price estimate and that was it. No hard sell, no annoying upsell. I will certainly use again.

Description of Work: Missed first appointment, 45 minutes late on the second appt. Cleared brush and vines from one of four areas in a limited backyard. They wanted me to furnished plastic bags or wanted a fee if they took the debrir to the dump, Not mentioned in ad. I was disappointed in the amount work they accomplished by 4 workers . The excuse was it took more time time and mampower to fill bags. It was hardly worth the money I paid. They wasted my time sharpening their tools om my sidewalk and with my electricity in another area, They should have been ready to work with their tools. The bags holders could have worked too and maybe the other 3 areas could have been could have been started. Very disappointing for the price.

Description of Work: They were terrific and I would certainly use them again. Came on time, did the work requested and cleaned up the yard before they left. Just terrific.

Description of Work: They did a good job BUT I didn't re-read the offer when they came to do the work and forgot it was supposed to include bagging of the weeds to be set out for pick up and they hit us for $150 haul away fee. I felt that the company should have known and stuck to the offer.

Description of Work: cleaned weeds but there were still a lot of weeds left in my backyard. They tried to take out the poison ivy but still left a lot & also a lot of weeds were left in my vegetable beds. They were more concerned about time & money than doing a good job so I will not use them again because I'm very disappointed with the job they did.

Description of Work: I requested edging around trees and shrubbery on my property. They came in like a bull in a china shop. Chopping and cutting without accessing how the area looked afterwards. A cable line was severed, therefore I had to deal with that problem afterwards. We were without phone, internet and cable TV service for three days. |I had Miss Utility to mark any lines that would be a hazard to the crew and from past contracting jobs, know that the contractor is responsible for this service, but seeing that the scheduled date was approaching fast, and no word from the Landscaping service that they would call to mark the utility lines, I took it upon my self to make the call. |It's been over 2 months now and with the exception of the limbs from trees being cut, I can not see a difference in the work they performed, |If the supervisor or site manager had come out prior to the scheduled date to access the property, he would have had a clearer picture of what was to be done. I even emailed him a week before the date to get an estimate of the mulch needed after the edging. He could not give me a precise answer due to the fact that he had no idea what my lawn required. |I am really hesitant about using Angie's List in the future, not knowing what kind of service I may get. |I am glad my name address and review will be available, maybe it will determine whether futures homeowners use their services based on my review.

Description of Work: I needed the work done fairly quickly - within a week or so. He sent a message 4 days after I purchased the deal, saying he would call me soon to schedule the work. He never called, and I had already gotten half the work done anyway, and will finish the remainder today. He still has not called.

Description of Work: It took a long time for Julio from ET Lawn and Landscaping to reach out to schedule the work. Once he did, the first date we had scheduled did not work out due to weather. I did not hear from Julio until I contacted him about rescheduling. We got another date set. Unfortunately I had a family emergency that could not be avoided and had to ask to reschedule the work. I gave 24 hours notice which I know is not ideal but I did not have a choice. Julio called me and was very unpleasant and aggressive and lectured me that I had put him in a really bad spot because now he had an unexpected opening on his calendar and that if I have an appointment with him, I should keep it. He was very unpleasant and aggressive. At that point I told him I'd be canceling with him.

Description of Work: Purchased the 8-hours of work deal. They brought 4 guys for two hours but were so fast that they finished ahead if time. My yard looks great and I would use them again.

Description of Work: I got an intro deal of 8 hours. So there were 4 guys for two hours, which was very effective. And easier on them for the hot day and labor put forth. I need help with deep digging edges, reshaping of some edges, getting rid of serious weeds in partly natural backyard, holes dug and plants planted, and so on. They were punctual, hard working, polite and did a great job. I would say that you need to be specific about what to WHACK in a partly wild back yard. Great job and big relief to get this done. I was able to mulch and do the girl flower stuff the next day.
