Wow! Let me start by saying I had several contractors come by to give me estimates on fixing some major concerns I’ve had in my yard for quite a while. I needed a professional who could complete everything I needed at a reasonable price. Well, Mr Julio Escobar (ET General Contractor Inc) was able to accommodate everything I needed done. He listened to everything I needed and provided excellent suggestions as to the right approach to do the job. This entailed re-sloping my backyard to direct water away from my house foundation and installing a drainage system in my backyard. My backyard was a barren wasteland that needed quite a bit of work. I had barely any grass on one side with many trees that I wanted removed in order to get more sunlight and allow grass to grow. Julio’s crew did an amazing job (cut down trees, removed all branch/log debris and grinded/ground the stumps down to the roots). His crew planted 29 Japanese Cedar trees along my fence line. My appreciation goes out to Julio Escobar for working with the nursery to get me all Japanese Cedars instead of the Leyland Cypress trees. Exactly what I wanted all along. God Bless you! He and his crew trucked in tons of river rock to lay around my pool and along the foundation in the back of the house and then laid, I forget how many, rolls of sod. These guys worked hard and in the worst heat of the summer. Lastly, but definitely not least he and his crew brought in clean topsoil and organic compost, grass seed, and fertilizer to cover my front yard (that also was a wasteland). After that he aerated the area and laid sod on the sides of my driveway so that there would be no run off when it rained. I can’t express enough how professional, courteous, and attentive Mr Escobar and his entire crew were throughout the entire job. I would definitely use them again for future projects. God Bless them for their hard work and strong work ethic!

Julio and his crew were the epitome of professional service. I cannot emphasize how thorough, punctual and knowledgeable they, collectively, know their artisan talents. I needed to have part of a brick wall that had collapsed replaced with new. Julio carefully examined the other remaining brick wall, and pointed out several cracks ( due to groundhogs burrowing from underneath, further weakening the structure overall) . As Julio pointed this out to me , I agreed that it was only a matter of time before the rest of the wall would fail. I decided to have half of the wall replaced with stone block . As my budget allows, I will definitely have the remaining brick wall replaced with the new stone wall. Since I had a positive reaction with Julio and his team, we discussed other projects that I knew needed attention. I inherited a 200+ year old house with my eventual desire to sell in the next year. It is my observation through Julio that I bit the bullet and trusted him and his crew to repair stucco, reinforce the home’s foundation, replace screens on an enclosed deck porch, replace outdoor turf, repoint the mortar on the brick façade of the house and the brick front porch and walkway. I. 100% recommend ET General Contractor Inc. for any home improvements you may need. I truly feel that Julio’s honesty, integrity, professionalism and work ethic was what I believe to be the best possible scenario for what ended up being a clean, well-executed project, and still what I believe to be a fair price. I have Julio, his crew, and ET General Contractor Inc. on speed dial !!!!!!

The job entailed putting in a retaining wall around an existing patio to prevent further erosion. The job went extremely well. Julio and his crew are extremely courteous and professional. The job took 3 days and the crew cleaned the area after each day. They tied the new work with the existing patio masterfully. Will hire again.

The team was hired to remove a massive stump, dig out the remaining roots and level the backyard. They did an incredible job and covered the entire area with sod. Additionally, they were able to build a box underneath our deck and re-route our gutters to lead water away from the house. Their work looks amazing and I would happily hire them again. I have already referred them to neighbors and several family members who have upcoming projects.

Julio Escobar, President of ET General Contractor, responded with 24 hours to my initial query and arranged to visit my house within another day to discuss my plans. He listened carefully, and made excellent suggestions, including frank opinions of what was and was not possible and at what cost. He then gave me an estimate within a few days with pictures of the kind of stone retaining wall that he recommended. Once work started, it was completed within four days completely to my satisfaction. Julio himself was in regular contact with me and visited the site where his team was working at least twice each day, supervising all aspects of my work while at the same time attending to projects elsewhere. Changes and challenges that came up in the course of the project were incorporated easily. The final wall - a structure in two parts across the entire front of the house, and made of sculptured stone blocks embedded in a firm foundation - was very professionally done and looks beautiful. The three vegetable patches - enclosed by 4x4 wood beams and filled with topsoil (as was the area behind the retaining wall) - are also solidly and professionally built. I'm entirely satisfied and will definitely work with Julio again in future.

After a lot of research and interviews with different contractors, Julio of ET General Contractor was the man for the job. Very professional, punctual and detailed in his estimating process. We had such a positive experience with Julio and his team from ET General Contractor Inc. From the very first meeting he was very clear and straight forward regarding what exactly would need to be done to remove the very large amount of bamboo and a dead cherry tree on our property. Not only did they show up early to get the job started but during unexpected problems, due to the intensity/large amount of bamboo, he was very clear about what they would need to do next, so we were never left guessing. The before picture is from our home's listing and doesn't show the full scale of how much bamboo needed to be removed, but paints a decent picture. We are so happy with our results and will definitely hire him again for future landscaping/contracting projects.

After reading several reviews online from various companies, I decided to call ET General Contractor Inc to get a quote for work in our backyard. Our backyard was in dire need of help. It had a slight steep slope with ground vines, random bushes, tree roots and weeds. Julio came by and assessed the yard. He gave us options on what he could do to make it more habitable and prices with each option. I found his prices to be fair, so we went with him. His team cleared mostly every thing with a bobcat and regraded my backyard. The team then installed sod and laid down river rock on one side of my house. They completed the work in 2 days. All in all, I'd say the work Julio and his team did was great. Our yard has been transformed and has never looked better!

Julio and his team were amazing. The job was delayed a bit longer than anticipated as a result of weather (unavoidable). The team did the entire job in 4 days, which was truly a herculean effort! We have a new construction and the entire yard was covered in wood chips and we had a very serious cliff in the backyard caused by erosion from recent rains, that posed a danger to our young children. Julio and team cleared all the chips, brought in endless amounts of dirt, fixed our dangerous cliff and made it into a nice sledding hill, cleared old logs, took down a big dead tree, put in drainage pipes for our gutters, laid over 11,000 sq. ft of sod, seeded the remaining lawn, planted trees, planted nearly 100 blue rug junipers to stabilize a slope next to our driveway, and the list could go on... Julio's team went above and beyond. My husband and I are beyond impressed with the completed work, the professionalism, price, honesty, and transparency of this company. There were a few hiccups along the way (all unavoidable things and outside of Julio's control), but he was able to communicate everything to us promptly and effectively, and lay out various options and choices on the fly to remedy said hiccups. Now the onus is on us to maintain the beautiful job Julio's team completed! We will hire him for any/all landscaping projects in the future. Great work, couldn't be happier with the process and results. I initially called Julio for spring cleanup for a large yard. During our initial consultation, he expressed concern about a couple suspicious trees. After getting second opinions and comparing quotes, I went with Julio for both the tree removal and general spring cleanup. He was flexible and responsive to my needs, budget, and schedule. I was really surprised with how quickly he was able to move from estimate to starting work. The crew did great work and wrapped up what seemed like a weeklong job in only 3 days. I plan to call Julio for all my landscaping and general contracting needs.

We hired E T General Contractor (formerly known as E T Landscaping & Lawn Care, Inc.) to clean up the wooded area of our backyard. We needed to remove dead trees, prune other trees, remove the underbrush, and plant new trees and shrubs and mulch the area. We contacted 3 companies - one never responded, another made an appointment and never showed up, and the third was Julio who was very responsive from the beginning and met with us within 24 hours of connecting. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping and made suggestions for trees that would work well in our yard. He also took our preferences into consideration, as well as keeping in mind what would work best for our family. He was quick to address any issues that came up. We found his pricing to be very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of work that was put into the project. We have had landscaping and tree work done at a previous house, and his pricing was better than the previous company we used (a major company in the area). He and his team were very reliable and take a lot of pride in the work that they do. We are very happy with their work and have hired them for other projects, as well as recommended them to everyone we know who needs work done.

Julio and his team did a phenomenal job brining my backyard dream come true. He was able to correct a substandard and incomplete job done by a previous contractor. He is very communicative and has a creative eye. I had a front yard retaining wall, large patio, fire pit patio, outdoor kitchen and walkway installed. It turned out more beautifully than I could imagine. I can't wait to use it next season. If I need any other work done in the future, Julio and his team will be the first I call.

More than landscaping; this company does it all. Julio and his team built beautiful hardcapes, created an outdoor paradises, and was there to help out when my basement suddenly flooded. ET Landscaping did truly excellent work quickly and for a fair price. I am endlessly impressed with Julio's ability, professionalism, and dedication to doing any job right thr first time. Julio and team went above and beyond what they agreed to do. We brought E T Landscaping in with a wide scope of services to include tree removal and stump grinding, weeding, mulching, aerating, and seeding work as well as putting down some gravel. Upon completion of the work, Julio advised that in order to do it properly, he would need to do some additional work that wasn't originally in scope, but that he wasn't charging us extra. We cannot overstate how much it meant that Julio wanted to do the job well vs. just checking the box. The before and after of the property was astounding and it's hard to believe how much they were able to accomplish. We would highly recommend E T Landscaping to anyone looking to transform their property or just looking for help in maintaining it.

My recently-purchased townhome in Reston backs to woods and the unfenced backyard was a *mess* with overgrown weeds & bushes, rampant poison ivy, and many fallen trees. My husband and I wanted to transform it into an area where our dog could roam free and we could make use of the space too. First step was to clear everything out, and then we planned to install a fence. I initially called ET Landscaping and Lawn Care for a quote just to clean out all the weeds, bushes, poison ivy, fallen trees, etc. Julio was happy to come out to provide a free estimate, even with COVID-19 going on. When Julio arrived there was some standing water from recent rain and he explaned that we'd have some drainage & erosion issues if we cleared everything down to bare earth and left it like that while we formulated a plan for sod, mulch, landscaping, etc. After a few more visits to discuss options -- first with me and then with my husband too -- we ended up getting a quote that included labor & materials for: yard clearing, removal of a few dead and/or heavily leaning trees, installing a French drain through the wettest area, re-routing PVC drainage pipes to the edge of the yard (originally dead-ended in the middle of the yard), about 600 square feet of sod, 30 cubic yards of mulch, and 160 linear feet of board-on-board fencing. While it was more than we anticipated spending on the backyard at this time, we felt we were in good hands with Julio & felt his price was fair. From contract signing to job completion was about 6 weeks. However, most of this time was waiting for wood! Due to COVID-19, there is a significant shortage of pressure-treated pine in our area & Julio had a really tough time finding enough wood for our fence from a single supplier. He kept me informed at least weekly (sometimes more often than that!) about his search. As soon as he confirmed that the materials would be available within the following 2 weeks, his landscaping crew came to do their portion of the work. The four-man landscaping crew was here 3 times: one day to clear the big stuff; another full day to clear all the smaller stuff, install the french drain, lay the sod, spread the mulch, etc.; and another few hours on a third day to finish up. The following week, his fencing crew (3 men and 1 woman) completed the entire fence in one day! Both of his crews worked quickly but didn't rush. Our yard looks so much better!! Julio and his landscaping & fencing crews were all friendly and knowledgeable about the work they were performing. They truly are professionals! I left them to their work while doing other things around the house or working from home. I never had any concerns about whether the work would be done how I wanted it or whether they were doing a good job. Also, we are not an end unit and the only way to access our property is through the yard of one neighbor who hates people walking through his yard. Julio had his crews use a pathway that was less convenient & not as easy to get materials/tools through, but disturbed our neighbor a little less. Thank you Julio!
