Description of Work: They did a very nice job! Although I purchased four guys for eight hours each, they came with five guys for six hours each. Even though the math wasn't perfect and I didn't get the two extra man hours, they worked very hard and got a lot done. You will need to purchase extra truck loads (I paid for three extra ... $600) but in my opinion it was worth the $2,100 total. They removed 3.5 trees and helped trim a little bit of the overgrowth over my fence. WRT the process ... the money you pay AngiesList for the service does not go to the service provider ... that is the payment to AngiesList for the connection ($300 seems a bit high to me). The service provider will then negotiate with you when then come to look at the job. I was a little frustrated by the overall process, but once I simply said that I wanted the service I purchased online everything worked out beautifully! As I indicated in my comments, I will definitely hire E T Landscaping for future tree work!

Description of Work: He trimmed shrubs, some very large, planted a rose bush and pampas grass, weeded large areas, removed leaves from around the house, and generally prepared many beds for mulching. He also offered helpful product advice. He and his team were punctual, worked quickly, removed debris, and cleaned up the areas in which they had worked.

 + 2 moreET Landscaping came to our attention with their $299 offer. During that visit, they removed various shrubs and just cleaned up our lawn. Before they left, I asked Julio about what he would do regarding our steep and unruly retaining wall. He suggested landscaping it with juniper plants and mulch. We had put off doing this for over 15 years but Julio showed us pictures of similar jobs he had taken on and we were convinced he would do a great job. Today, ET Landscaping came and did an amazing job. It is important to note that this hillside/retaining wall is steep and they had to do much of the work with strong backs and painstaking manual labor. We are just thrilled with the results.

 + 2 moreHe showed up 10 minutes before agreed to time to go over the details. He was considerate of the neighbors and did not run machinery until after 9:00 am. He discussed progress with me the entire time, verifying my wishes when it might vary slightly with his recommendations. He was extremely courteous and professional. He offered advice to me on future plans that I have for the yard. Most of all, he was committed to me being completely satisfied with the work. Given the chance, I would most definitely hire his company again. Do yourself a favor, hire these guys. They were really quite good.
Description of Work: Trimmed the hedge on my and neighbor's side of carport; dug out a maple stump, removed ivy and tree impediments on brick walkway, trimmed ivy hedge along driveway, pruned hedges in backyard, pruned trees in front and back yard, raked and neatened front and back yard.

 + 1 moreI am very impressed with Julio and his team. They turned up on time and well equipped for the job. They did everything I requested, and more. Julio is very knowledgeable on plants and trees. He made several recommendations that I hadn't considered and educated me on how to care for certain plants and bushes. Before leaving they took all waste and left the place very tidy, using a leaf blower to clear away debris. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Cut back crepe myrtles, rose bushes, and other trees and bushes. Planted numerous plants in front and back yard. Explained about health of plants and how to better care for them. Cut back borders and sharpened edging. Took away all branches and waste, Tidied up.

Maybe not the least expensive provider, but fair pricing for what you get. We will work with them again and recommend them to the Angie's List community, for sure.
Description of Work: Julio and his crew have come several times since this summer to take down trees, create new beds, clear out weeds and undergrowth, chop wood, clean up leaves, and put down mulch.
