Cleared brush as I had asked, but I was surprised to be hit with a $150 fee to haul away brush. Contractor later said it was up to me to know that county would have taken it for free. Maybe, but I am not a landscaper. Then, he would not take bricks and blocks that he had cleared. Then he inflated what he said county would charge him. I called. As a contractor working for me he would have been charged a pro rated fee of $36 a ton for brush and $62 a ton for bricks. Probably a 100-200 pounds of brush and less than 400 pounds of brick. I called and said after all this if he took the bricks I would give him higher rating and he refused. So, I think he is out for the quick easy buck. So, it is up to you how you view this, but I rated him down. I would not use him again.

He wouldn't talk to me over the phone, but instead, only wanted communication over text. We didn't hear from him when we were supposed to have, and when we finally spoke, he didn't even remember what the deal was for. He's not reliable, doesn't answer phone calls, and doesn't follow up. He's unorganized, and seems too busy to take on any new jobs.

The team accomplished more work than I expected them to accomplish in the time allotted. Our property has between 1500-2000 square feet of flower beds that were filled with weeds, dying shrubs and unmaintained ground cover, so there was a lot of work. Plus 2 of the trees they removed were over 30 ft tall. The team worked quickly and removed all debris. Our yard looks fantastic now. We've received lots of compliments from the neighbors. Julio and his brother were very knowledgable and gave great advice for maintaining the remaining trees and shrubs. Would recommend them to anyone needing landscaping work.

It was fine. It was completed in a timely manner.

Crew showed up early, foreman reviewed list of tasks I had written out, and they got to work. Pablo also pointed out a tree branch that was threatening the fence and they took that down as well.

It all went very well, although it took forever to schedule.

Scheduling was hard but they came on time. I wasn't home when they called me. I told them to go ahead and do the job. After the job, they asked where they should put the trash and I told them to tie them in bags and put them in the garage. They said they didn't have bags and that surprised me. I requested them to go to the store which was a drive of a few seconds away from my house and they said that they couldn't do that. I had to leave work to come home and provide the bags for the trash.

The 6 hours of yardwork is actually 5 guys for 1.25 hours -- which they don't tell you until after you've paid. They rushed through the job, and did an ok job, but no attention to detail and a little sloppy in areas.

Very pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness of this company. The job was completed in the estimated timeframe and exceeded my expectations. I was also impressed with their clean up since the project required pulling up part of a wood deck to extend a downspout (the deck was re-assembled perfectly when they finished), a lot of extra soil to re-grade the yard slope, and removal of a tree (approximately 8-9' tall) and some invasive vines that were smothering a different tree. When discussing the work needed, I was given several options to evaluate against my budget, and there were no high-pressure or scare tactics used to try and sell additional services. Also, I feel like they stand behind their work and are honest about what they can and can't do. For example, the downspout had a large leak in one of the existing joints (not the extension they installed) and, despite a full schedule, they still came out the next day to assess and repair. Instead of trying to charge additional material or labor fees, they told me that if their repair didn't hold (whoever installed it didn't leave enough overlap between the different sections), I would need to call a gutter specialist. This was very much appreciated over a company that says they can fix something, then ends up making the problem worse, causing an even larger repair bill. All in all, I had a great experience with E T Landscaping & Lawn Care and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I contacted ET Landscaping about a special they were offering for a stone walkway. I emailed pictures of the work I wanted done and asked for a price. I could not get them to respond other than to ask where I was located. I emailed them on two separate occasions after providing my location and never heard anything back. My last email simply asked to let me know if they weren't interested but no response.

They scheduled easily, were accommodating with scheduling and arrived when expected. They brought a large crew and worked diligently and quickly. I bought a deal for $300/8 hours of work. Because of the size of their crew they were only here a little while and it was hard to tell if it really correlated to what we had purchased and whether we really got the full value. So reliable, good work but hard to determine whether we got the full service time we paid for.

From the very beginning it was a great experience. We saw E T Landscaping on Angie'slist with a listing for a small patio, so I called to see if they repaired patios. We called and talked to Julio and made arrangements to get an estimate. His estimate was very reasonable, so reasonable that we decided to have a brick walkway installed. Julio called the day before and said he will start work at 8:30 a.m. He was punctual and kept us informed every step of the way. The final product is beautiful. There was never a doubt of the quality of work that was being done. Since we are home during the day, we watched their progress and observed how the work was completed. Seems each employee knew exactly what their responsibilities were, which made completion of the work efficient. Once everything was completed, they cleaned up all debris and garbage. We would definitely use E T Landscaping for any future jobs.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew. They did an excellent job and I would definitely hired them again. They all worked very hard and exceeded my expectations. My front yard looks great now!

They charged me $60 for coming for one hour. It said 6 hours of landscaping and all of a sudden, I get six guys who I am supposed to direct where to go to do the landscaping in one hour. I knew what I wanted done so I was able to direct them in the front of the backyard and they did pretty much what I wanted. They're good workers. You can't have an ad saying you have somebody for 6 hours or 2 guys for 3 hours and bring 6 on. It was ridiculous. I wouldn't do that again. They're good and they did a good job. I had to run to each one of them and tell them what to do. I was surprised by the ad. It was a misleading ad. It was hard for me to handle six of them at one time. The price was okay. They made it clear that they needed a tip.

The provider was very hard to get in touch with, didn't know his schedule when I called him multiple times, and did not call when he said he would. He was inflexible and only made the minimum effort to actually get something on schedule. Also, it should be noted that he didn't have anything available for weeks at a time, so anyone who purchases this deal should know they wont get services in a timely manner.

The guys were prompt, there were lot grounds to be covered and they were able to all of that, including mulching, edge trimming and weeding. They came well equipped.

When the crew showed up the first thing that the leader said was that "it's 10:23 and we will be finished in l-l/2 hours". How did he figure this? Well, with the crew and the 6- hour purchase from Angie's List, it works out to l-l/2 hours. Wait a minute, I said, it's supposed to be for 8 hours. No. And was very adamant about it. I was just as adamant that he stand by the contract. At that point he called his boss. Luckily I had a print out of the purchase and showed it to him. He was dealing with the boss by phone and the boss was adamant that there was no way I could have purchased 8 hours for $329. He was still on the phone and stayed on the phone for probably 15 minutes. Told me that I could just send them away and get a refund from Angie's List. I was very tempted to do that, but had purchased several plants and soil and had everything lined up for planting. This had been arranged over a week previous, and that's another story since the owner had great difficulty reaching us by phone (he said). I sent several messages through the message center on line, but he didn't answer them. Once we finally were able to talk to him he said that he didn't like to leave messages on the voicemail. Well, we told him that we don't answer just every phone call unless we know who is calling, and with no identification showing on the phone we would not pick up, and why didn't he leave a message? He didn't like this. Back to the story. The leader was still on the phone. I showed him that the contract said "8 hours, $329, and that it didn't expire until December 2015. Still on the phone, and workers standing around waiting to see what was going to happen. Finally he agreed that they would work 2 hours instead of l-l/2. That, actually, was plenty of time and I sent them off at 11:50 after they completed what I had asked them to do. The work was satisfactory. This put a very bad taste in my mouth and should never have happened. I would never again hire ET LANDSCAPING. What a way to treat a paying customer. He has lost possible future business because he was unwilling to stand by the contract that I had with him.

Paid for two landscapers for 4 hours, got five. The hours were split between the crew which never stop working during their time. What they did would have been hard for two to complete. in 1.5 hours the landscaping was transformed. I didn't look like the same house and every thing was done.

Excellent work. We bought a deal at Angie's list and we got excellent service from Julio's team. The team was very professional and cleaned all the flower beds. They even went ahead and cleaned areas which I didn't told them initially since they had time left on their watch. Besides work, Julio also explained how to prevent weeds and how to treat them. Will definitely recommend him and will use for future work.

Berlin Escobar and his team arrived and removed several overgrown and dead bushes and plants, and pruned others as specified by my wife. They removed all yard waste (for a modest additional fee considering how much work they did) and raked up residue cuttings. We will likely have them back in the Fall for additional work.

Julio and crew were very efficient, getting the work above done in less than 1.5 hrs. So for fast, efficient work for weeding and pruning, they're your choice! I was pleased with the work and I will be trying his mowing service also. However, for future work such as mulching, I found the price to be too high for me. The special was a good deal!

So no chance to evaluate their quality of work. But the owner is nice in reminding us to contact Angie's list for refund. The deal might be too good to make them too busy with other customers. It's our first time to use Angie's list. The refund seems painless, which is nice.

No issues. They did a very good job.

Here is the email the company sent. No changes or corrections have been made. It speaks for itself. "we already have this conversation if I do have overall A in my profile is because I do have good workers and we provide god [sic] quality work, but if you are not sure about service and quality and you don't trust wend [sic] I clearly said to you that I do have all my equipment and we work h****** the time that you purchase I don't know what else to tell you. If you fell [sic] like my guys will only going to waist [sic] your time you can cancel this purchase. "

I was amazed that they got done as much as they did in an hour and a half! They arrived on time with a crew of 4 and got right to work. I'm so impressed! I would definitely use them again and again!
