Julio and his crew arrived 5 minutes early and were ready to work. We purchased the deal for 1 crew for 8 hours or 2 crew members for 4 hours. Julio showed up with a 7-8 crew and got the work done in 1.5 hours - which was amazing. He walked the property with my fiance and they discussed what we needed to be removed and cleaned and julio even provided us quotes for additional work for the future (which we really appreciated and will probaly use). I would highly recommend Julio.

They just showed up without calling or contacting me in advance. As a result I was unable to ensure they performed the work on my property and I wanted to put top soil on top of the seed. I really wished they would have called me first.

They came when they said they would and performed the services. Used a blower on the sidewalks and driveways, which was nice. I would have liked to have reserved judgement on Quality for after the seed actually starts growing, as I have had problems in the past with overseeding and the use of weed contaminated seed. Crossing fingers.

He was a no-show, and worse yet, he forgot about my appointment (which was the date HE scheduled) as he went away for the weekend. If I had known he wanted to leave town that day, I could have made alternate arrangements for a different date. He didn't contact me until AFTER the appointment time. I waited around all day for him to show up. Not very professional.

I was NEVER contacted by this individual/ company. This is my first time using Angies List and it's left a bad taste. I can not express how disappointed I am. If he doesn't want the business then why is he on this site? I want my money refunded to me.

There was some initial confusion but things got straightened out; plenty of seed was used.

The Deal was for eight hours and they were done within four. I am not familiar with trees so I did not know I was supposed to tell them which trees needed to go and which ones did not. I had no idea which trees were bad. That was one thing. They said they could take down more trees, but they did not have the truck capacity and I said I could put them in the lawn pickup, but they said most would not take that. They frowned upon that. Then, I ended up paying extra for having some trees trimmed in addition to what I paid Angie’s List.

E T LANDSCAPING & LAWN CARE INC only stayed half a day. They didn't stay the whole 8 hours and they left the tree that they cut down. They left that in the backyard. They only stayed 4 hours. They quite did a clearing but it wasn't 8 hours. That was the problem too because they were not calling me back and it was almost getting 30 days. So I called them and they said, "Oh I don't have an appointment for you.", and I had insisted that I've already paid for the deal and he said he'd call me back. And two days later, he called me back and he apologized and he said, "Yes, we do have an appointment for you". They're nice people but they didn't work for 8 hours so I feel like I overpaid.

Great job! We purchased an offer from Angie's List and were contacted promptly. Showed up on a Tuesday initially and gave us an estimate for extra work that needed to be done. Came back on Thursday to finish the job. I was very impressed that they could tell weeds from real plants. My husband would have pulled out good and bad. They took care of the poison ivy that has been a problem for years. Very good experience.

I purchased the deal on Angie’s List for 4 men for 8 hours to do tree work. My biggest concern was a large, very old maple tree that I hoped to save. I expressed my concerns on the phone to Julio so he came to the house first to assess the situation & make recommendations. He sent a crew of 6 men and they did excellent work. It was a dangerous job but they were skilled workers and very careful. It didn’t take the full amount of time on the coupon but I have no problem with that because they did everything that I asked. Six men can get a lot of work done in a very short time and they don’t dawdle. Because of the huge amount of debris, I had to pay a little extra for hauling. In addition, they fed some trees and sprayed my front lawn for weeds. My yard looks 100% better and I’ll call Julio the next time that I need something done.

Julio contacted me to schedule the job and I asked him to come out to let me know how much he thought could be completed in the 32-man hours included in the package. He obliged and met me to walk the yard and figure out what the priorities should be. We agreed on a large maple and even larger poplar that were leaning towards (and over) our house. While I had hoped for more I knew that these two would require a lot of climbing, roping, and careful cutting to avoid dropping anything on the house. Julio's crew arrived right on time on our scheduled day. I was pleased to see everyone wearing appropriate personal protective gear (eye protection & work gloves for everyone, safety chaps for those operating chain saws, and a helmet and (brand new) harness for the climber). As work began, everyone had their specific job. There was a guy on the roof making sure thing hit it, there was a guy climbing the tree to be cut, and there were a couple of guys hauling away the branches as they dropped. As the work progressed, I noticed the guy on the roof had a leaf blower with him. As he waited, he decided to blow out my gutters that had accumulated over the last few months (BONUS!). The crew was amazingly efficient and in very short order had the two trees down and cut into firewood-sized pieces. Since we still had plenty of time, we opted to have them take care of several more trees. I had them concentrate on dropping the trees and cutting them into manageable pieces and we were able to drop a significant number of the dangerous trees and trim up a couple of others. I couldn't be happier with the work this amazing crew did in my yard. Safe, efficient, and in the end took care of probably 90% of what we wanted for an amazing price. These guys were AWESOME! Very professional, dedicated, and detail oriented. In the end, I had a bit of work to do on my own hauling and cutting the larger pieces, but my family has incredible peace of mind knowing that the vast majority of the DANGEROUS trees leaning towards/over our home were removed without ANY damage to the structure at all. GREAT job guys!

They did what I asked them to and they left. I've got one of the specials so it was like half-priced. The price was about what I would have expected for the work they would have done. It wasn't really that big bargain. They were very punctual. They were polite. They didn't have a ladder. They really had no ability. They didn't bring anything to actually prune a tree. All they brought with them was chainsaw. I had already told them that I need to have my trees pruned. It was not what I was expecting in terms of service at all. They really had no intention of actually pruning my trees. I had big trees. They didn't bring a ladder. They didn't bring a tool. They didn't bring anything to actually trim the trees. I was very disappointed in their service. They did what I asked them to do with their chainsaws. I asked them to leave before they did any damage. They did damage my deck. It was slight but it was a brand new deck. I would absolutely never use this company again. It ended up being much more expensive than it would have been if I had just not gone with the deal at all. I was very disappointed. I was happy to have them leave. They didn't really come here to try and do anything.

Julio and his crew were excellent. They were on time and worked hard to respond to our needs. Some of the large branches they took down could have caused much damage if mishandled. They were professional and completed the work without any problems. Once done they took away the branches, cut and stacked the wood and cleaned up the yard.

Everything was excellent - Owner contacted me set up time to arrive (8:30 in morning) and arrived then. Full team of 5 people got through more work than I thought was possible. They were very quick and very efficient. Owner and crew were very friendly and worked to make sure I was satisfied. They did a great job cleaning up and there were no problems at all. I'd recommend them very, very highly !

I purchased an Angie’s List Deal on 6/20 and expected to be contacted by E T Landscaping. Because I heard nothing from the company, on 6/24 I sent an email to Julio Escobar at E T Landscaping. Again I heard nothing and sent another email on 6/27, which was not acknowledged. On 6/28 I called Julio, and he answered right away. He said he had tried to call me twice on 6/27, but there was no answer. He admitted that he did not leave any message. Since we don’t answer calls from unknown callers, we never picked up the phone. After a couple more phone calls, Julio and I agree that he’ll come out on 7/5 between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. He was too busy to come out ahead of time to tell us what work could be done for the purchased deal, so we would figure it out when they came on the 5th. When I commented to Julio that it was very difficult to reach him, he said that a new system on Angie’s List is making it difficult for him to receive information from customers. On 7/5 Julio and five other men arrived at our house a bit before 8:00. My husband and I explained that one tree must come down because it is in the way of a planned construction project. The other tree we wanted down because many of the large branches were overhanging our roof, and we wanted to avoid any damage from falling branches. Julio said the deal purchased would cover taking down the 34-inch diameter tree in back and hauling away the debris. The rest would be cut into chunks and left on our property. Since our neighbors wanted firewood, this was fine with us. Julio also quoted $1900 to take down the 46-inch diameter tree located 10 feet from our house in our narrow side yard. They would remove the debris and leave the chunked wood. We agreed to have this extra work done. All of the workmen were polite and friendly. They helped move items out of the way to avoid damage from falling branches. Julio left mid-day, but his men continued to work until 6 p.m. They got the smaller tree down and chunked up and the debris was removed. They also removed a few branches from the second tree. The next day more men showed up about 9:15 and were working by 9:30. They also brought a chipper for the debris. The last piece of the giant trunk fell at noon and by 2:25 everything was chunked up, the yard was raked clean and the last of the men left. We now have a MUCH sunnier yard and will worry less when we have high winds. E T Landscaping has hardworking men that seem to know what they are doing. My complaint is that it was so difficult to make the initial contact, but hopefully when the system at Angie’s List is fully functional, things will go much smoother.

The provider was not responsive and did not reach out to us after the purchase, and we felt like we had to "chase" him down to get any communication. ?We never did meet with him and they couldn't even identify dates to schedule a visit. ?This was very different from the?two other "Angie's deals" we had?purchased in which contractors were prompt to contact us and schedule service. ?We gave them a D overall instead of an F because when we said that we'd lost confidence and that we would cancel the request and seek a refund (just before the 30 days expiration date was looming), the contact finally got back to us quickly to try to work something out. ?In the end, it was simply too late for us, and they said they understood when we said we'd seek a refund. ? I gave them a D instead of an F because, although they were tardy, they at least responded. Given our experience, I would not recommend this company. ?

The owner didn't provide the hours purchased. He felt his crew worked so quickly that I was getting what I paid for with fewer hours than what was agreed.

We wanted to replace the slate walkway to our front door (that the builder provided 20 years ago) with a more attractive "permanent" walkway. ET Landscaping provided the perfect solution! The walkway turned out better than we could have expected. It is absolutely beautiful and blends perfectly with the style and color of the house. In setting up the job,we dealt with Julio Escobar, president of the company. He helped with the design and was one of the crew of four that arrived to do the job. They were all polite and professional. It took approximately 5 hours to complete the job, and afterwards they cleaned up everything, including getting rid of the dust created from sawing the pavers. We will not hesitate to use them again for any services we need that they provide.

Purchased a deal for this provider which said that my home was within their service location. It took the provider a week plus several emails and text messages to get back to me to tell me he did not want to go out of Virginia. That is an unacceptable period of time for a provider to respond and goes against Angie's list policies for these type of deals. I could have hired another company in the meantime to do the urgent work I needed. He did eventually respond and was polite which is why my rating is a B and not lower.

Julio contacted me quickly and came to do the work shortly after even with all the rainy weather. He explained very clearly what they could and couldn't do. There are power lines nearby and he was concerned for his workers safety, but they took down as many trees as they could safely. Got to work and got it done. Hard workers.

The initial agreement was for 5 CY of mulch. Upon arrival, the owner advised me that the amount of space I wanted serviced exceeded that amount but that he would sell me the additional approximately 2CY of mulch for his cost. We agreed upon a price and his 6 person team began to efficiently address each of the many separate flower beds surrounding my home. After getting to the back yard, the owner realized I wanted the flower bed adjacent to my patio wall covered too so he informed me it would result in an additional cost. I agreed and a short time later, he came to me and advised that the work was done. I completed an inspection and was completely satisfied. I paid him the additional agreed upon amount and would recommend this company without question.

Julio couldn't start the project until two weeks after purchase but he then came out, at my request, on a Saturday to provide a firm estimate. Because of the size of the project, he said he had to charge another $100 over the deal price, which I was fine with, and I also agreed to pay for weed control treatment in the plant beds. He told me he and his crew would be at my house at 7:00 on Monday morning and they were at my house and working at 7:00. They whipped through everything in about 2 hours and did a great job. The yard looks fresh and clean and I will definitely not hesitate to call him again if I have additional work that needs to be done.
