It was a pleasure working with Jose and his staff. He very promptly provided me with an estimate after reviewing the work I wanted performed. After I hired his company, I was not entirely sure what I was looking for on new bushes for the front of the house. Jose joined me at Meadows Nursery and provided professional input and I selected the bushes I wanted and we marked them for Jose to pick up the following day. Jose and his staff completed all the work in one day. They took out the old bushes and pulled out all the old grass, weeds, and plants by the roots to ensure they wouldn't regrow. They installed new landscaping timber and removed the badly rotted old timbers. They asked me where I wanted the bushes and one small tree and planted them for me. Then they covered the entire area with mulch. I was very pleased with the final outcome. I am extremely happy with Capitol Landscaping Inc. and their good work ethic and I will definitely hire them again in the future.

While this price may seem high, please recognize it is for several hundred feet of long neglected beds. Jose and his team came in and weeded, edged our beds, mulched and removed dead shrubs on approx 1 acre. Their work is excellent. His team is very friendly and Jose is very knowledgable. This was the second time we used Capitol Landscaping. They had previously come in and installed a French drain on the side of our driveway. I highly recommend Jose and his team and would definitely use them again.

This is my first time using Capitol Landscaping, but I'm quite certain that this WON'T be my last! They're GREAT! They arrived -- precisely as scheduled -- and when they did, they phoned us, just to ensure that we knew! [ They took into consideration that our residence is a three-story townhouse-styled home, and resultantly they understood that we might not have been immediately aware of their arrival! I find this act of courtesy to be something worth noting; I for one certainly appreciated it!! ] Once they parked their trucks, they got right out and went right to work!! And worked they did -- thoroughly and it felt to me, nonstop!! [ Taking only two, very, very short breaks for much-needed rehydration! ] In doing their work and completing their tasks, they showed definite attention-to-detail, regarding our instructions and concerns!! And in light of the season [ Fall ] and the amount of work they had accomplished, it's my firm belief that I got a REALLY GOOD deal in pricing!! Before, the crew left, we communicated to Jose [ the main Point-Of-Contact, and owner of the company, who also was one of the workers ] that we would DEFINITELY being calling upon Capitol Landscaping again, and throughout the coming Spring and Summer!! If you have any need for landscapers, and you need them RIGHT Away ... ... You SHOULD give these guys a shot!! These guys are GREAT!! R/ Brian

I interviewed 4 different companies for a complete landscaping review and after speaking with Jose from Capitol Landscaping I just knew he would do the job right and affordable. He came out personally and listened to my vision and created a plan that fit within my budget. The plan was perfect, his crew was always on time, cleaned up every day and my neighbors were amazed with the level of professionalism and how fast they transformed my house into a home. The house has great curbside appeal and it is now a pleasure to come home to. Jose spent personal time with me to go to 2 different nurseries, picked out flowers and plants that would compliment the house and the plants there currently. I wish I could give his company better than an A+ because the work that they did deserves it. I will have him back and recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade their home.

Jose and his team are great. The price is right and work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Work is beautiful. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Forgot to come on the first visit. Had to leave multiple messages. Was supposed to cut the lawn every two weeks. But instead, came every week. Never once returned any of my phone calls. Horrible customer service. The guys did a good job cutting the lawn, however. I will not use this company again. What a hassle

In addition to the work scheduled ahead of time, Jose and his crew completed work on an additional bed upon our request, and fixed an area which looked funny by adding a wood piece and river rock to make it attractive and prevent runoff into the forest. These two additional work requests resulted in modest price increases, but most importantly, the company was able to accommodate our additional requests easily and without much difficulty. We were extremely pleased with the company's promptness, responsiveness to questions and in particular Jose's ability to make decisions quickly and offer advice when needed. He is a true professional and it is wonderful to see his outstanding work ethic and management of his excellent crew. It was brutally hot when they worked and we never heard a complaint--they just kept working until the project was completed. Cleanup was outstanding, and we'd recommend this company to anybody interested in good service, fair pricing, and excellent workers.

This was on of the best experiences we have had. Jose' was on-time for all the meetings, be it giving the estimate, delivery of supplies and with delivery of the completed project. He and his staff did an excellent job in constructing the wall, as well as cleaning up each day and at the end of the project. Jose' addressed all of our questions, taking the time to explain what they would do and check back with us before they began to see if we had an questions or concerns. Others in the neighborhood have stopped by to admire the work and get his information so they can begin their outdoor construction projects. Great Job Jose' and staff.

Jose came to a**** our problems the same day I called. He provided estimates within 48 hrs and had his team here to do the work at the exact time he told me he would. He explained how he would do the job and made recommendations if needed. I was particularly appreciative of his willingness to look at areas I was hoping to make changes to in the future. Because of this my husband and I are now prioritizing a list of jobs and we will call Jose when ready to tackle the next project. We have a significant slope on the side of our house and the downspouts were not enough, there was significant erosion.Three French drains were installed and we are very pleased with the type of drainage they provide. There are pop up units that diffuse the water evenly and the recent rain was handled perfectly. Erosion had also become a problem along the driveway and we had mud in our driveway when it rained and our shrubs were suffering too. The bed made by Jose's team looks good and no more mess! Now that there is a border and it is nicely mulched it looks 100% better. Jose's attention to detail and customer service makes me confident that he would handle any and all jobs well. In fact, he was just here to look at a section of fence we want to have done...I called this morning and he will have an estimate for us tomorrow. Quality work, great customer service and professionalism!

My parents had a serious issue with flooding in their backyard that threatened their recreation room in their home. We hired Capital Landscaping to solve the problem. Jose Hernandez and his team were on right on time in both coming out to the home to review the problem, give a price to fix problem, and then to arrive the following day to do the work. Mr. Hernandez was on site for most of the actual work and ensured that all went well. The company placed a drain in the flooding area and from the drain installed an underground pipe approximately 45 feet with a pop up value to release water by front street. The team was carefull in saving the grass that had to be dug up to lay the pipe. They did excellent work, were most precise in explaining what they were going to do and tested the work to ensure the system worked as planned.

All around great service mulching and weeding all beds. On time, call backs, and very happy with work provided. I would recommend to my friends.

Pretty good. The job cost a more than I originally thought, but the men did good work and the owner called me to inform me that the job was going to cost more due to size of the task. This company is reliable and do good work. The owner, is patient and customer service oriented.

Jose was fantastic!! I would definitly use him again. He was PROMPT (even for the estimate) and reliable. Did exactlry what he said he would and when. I am finally growning grass in an area that had nothing but mud. He did a terrific job on sprucing up the yard - it looks great for summer now.

They did an exceptional job. In fact, I am bringing them back this spring to work on my yard again. I normally do that myself but I was hurt and I couldn't so I hired them and I'll never do it myself again. They did such a great job. When they got done with it, it looked like a pro did it. They were here a couple of days and the bill was well worth it. They were very professional. The foreman that came out spoke good English. He asked me what I wanted and I walked around and told him. He made some suggestions, the vast majority of which I accepted. I basically went back in the house and they were here for a two-day period. I looked at what they did when they left and I was amazed.

This is one of several times that we have engaged with Capitol Landscaping. Their services are terrific and I would go on record to say that their cost are fair to other comparisons. Jose Hernandez and his family are always prompt and perform the work exactly as you describe and agree upon. I would highly recommend them for all of your outdoor landscaping and lawn work.

They first came for the quote and then we decided to go with them. They did a phenomenal job. The price was very reasonable. Our yard was atrocious, it was horribly over brown and so many plants were dead and diseased. It's a fairly large backyard and front yard and he did the whole thing. He was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the different plants that were here. He knew what was diseased and needed to go over and needed to trim back.

Jose and his team are great to work with. We've used their services a number of times and have been very pleased with their service and fair pricing. Very Well! Capitol Landscaping was recommended to us by another Homeowner in our community. Mr. Hernandez returned my call promptly, and met with me to listen to and suggest help with our needs. CL was very helpful in assisting me where I wanted to do the work, and in doing the rest. All of there team showed up on time, and worked like they had a goal, and not like they were on the clock. They are a young company, and made some small mistakes (not clearing mulch from the small tree roots when they mulched), but they take obvious pride in in doing quality work, and listened and were willing to change things when I had a concern. The difference is vast--from a lot plagued by awful clay soil, rocks, and weeds, to a lush green yard with beautiful beds.
