The guy was a very personable person however I didn't like that he installed the cheapest part he could find and I ended up with a plastic spray nozzle. His quality of work was good, he removed everything and cleaned up well. I just feel like I definitely over paid for the service.

I could not even get an estimate, or any response to my phone calls. Mr. Meade visited my home 3 weeks ago, in response to my request for an estimate on a new boiler. He promised me an estimate within a couple of days. Since then, despite at least 2 phone calls to him and promises that he would return my calls, I have heard NOTHING. He does not mind wasting my time, but apparently he does not need my business - or yours, either, I think.

I phoned a different plumber and had the work completed. Although I am disappointed with Universal, I would likely try them again should I need HVAC work. I suspect that the owner of Universal will NOT be pleased to learn of this instance. I believe that she set's high standards for her employees.

Universal was very friendly and responsive. I ended up going with another company simply based on a (very) minor price difference, but I could have easily gone with Universal and been satisfied. Steffen was extremely helpful in aiding my decision making processes for including the HVAC replacement into my remodeling plans and identifying what issues might arise. I would definitely recommend Universal to anyone looking for HVAC work.

Heating went out just before thanksgiving. John from Universal showed up next day during the time period as promised. Quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the part(igniter). The part was expensive, in my opinion, but I guess that is what it cost. The technician was knowledgeable and affable. Would work again.

I had a very good experience. The plumber came on time. He was pleasant, offered lots of information and was very helpful. I did request someone call me about some work that he was not prepared to do that day. The company did not follow through. Two months later, I have not heard from them. I do not know if the company has not called or the plumber forgot to tell them to call. I would note that although I rated this company excellent, my one 'B' rating on price is based on the fact that their hourly rate seems to be higher than that of other plumbers. I would still use them again, however.

Were cheapest priced, and were very prompt and professional. Had been recommended to them by two different people independently, both of whom couldn't say enough good things about them. The a/c system works great, and when we considering what to install, they actually talked me out of purchasing a more expensive system from them. They were also extremely diligent in trying not to damage anything and cleaning up after themselves. In addition, have had my heating repaired by them, and again. When we were evaluating what to repair, they actually talked me out of replacing it, and repairing it instead. This to me is the sign of a good company that is up front and honest.

The plumber and his assistant came out to carefully inspect the parts of the inner tank, as some of them were faulty mainly from wear and tear. They did a great job and it only took them less than two hours to complete the repairs, to do the clean up, in which was also great.

We had a couple of leaky faucets and had them take care of some small plumbing needs while they were out here. Our neighbor liked them, so they told us about them, and they have been so helpful and reliable that we really liked them now too. They have had a very good track record with us, so I would recommend them to anyone.

We had excellent service with this company. They were prompt, friendly and worked in a professional manner. They have been in business for over 25 years now and we have used them before with replacing our air conditioning unit and they also replaced my heating to hydrothermal using a gas heating system. The parts and labor was included in the price of this last visit.

Universal saved my life when they came out on a holiday while I was having a wedding. I explained the situation and they were out within an hour or so. The price was a little high but I guess that s what you would get anywhere on a holiday.

They removed the old unit and hauled it away as part of their service. They did a really good job installing the new one. The heating and air conditioning unit had a 10-year warranty on it and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I felt it was a high quality unit.

I have been dealing with Universal for about six years and I can say that I have always been a satisfied customer of there's for the entire six years. They never give me any kind of problems at all and they are always very professional in their ways. I plan to keep them around for a while. I see no reason to have to switch to anyone else at all.

When our air conditioner broke we called a few places and Universal was able to come out a lot quicker then the rest of the companies. All of the companies had around the same price so I wasn t too worried about that we just needed it fixed quickly.

Universal Heating & Plumbing was a good knowledgeable company that I trusted fully. When I called they sent someone out as soon as possible. They were always on time. I was very pleased with the results. He always explains what work he did.
