I was contacted right away and he showed up at the arranged time. He was professional and straightforward. The installation went smoothly, and all components looked to be neatly and appropriately installed. Everything is working properly with no mess. I will definitely use them for future heating or plumbing issues. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, so the work was worth it.

Joe was extremely prompt courteous knowledgeable about disconnecting my previous hot water heater taking it back to home depot and picking up the replacement and installing it quickly and economical. I would recommend him.

This company did work at a rental house I own, as I m in another state, i could not verify the work that was done, therefore based on other companies replacing water heaters for me, I thought the cost high. My renters did not offer any information other than the work was done and they now have hot water. The owner is easy to speak with and offered a free inspection, which I had him do. Awaiting more information from the inspection.

I did not have the time to repair it myself and I could of bought a new Rudd 75 gal propane heater for $1400 from HomeDepot but I needed it fixed quickly. It cost me $721 to have the gas controller unit replaced. It does require draining the hot water. Took two plumbers about 1 1/2 hrs to replace. They did what they said they would do and promptly and I would use them again in this type of situation. Also, unit was only 4 yrs old, disappointing equipment performance.

Professional, polite, flexible. They came in for an estimate and installed the same day. Couldn't get better than that. Their team was super nice, respectful, and efficient.

hired to replace pressure tank for friday morning no show called left message . Got call back late afternoon . set up another apointment first thing saturday morning no show, finally showed at 10:45 A.M. reduced total job cost from $800.00 to $720.00 Joe agreed. would not hire for any future jobs

Received a quote from Commonwealth to replace a hot water tank for $1325. On the day of the installation two employees (not the employee who gave me the quote) arrived to install the hot water tank. About 20 minutes into their arrival they knocked on the door and explained to my wife they had forgot a part and had to run out to get it. Worked for an hour or two came back to the front door and said "We didn't know we had to do the vent and have to go get the parts". They finished up the job and presented my wife with the bill which was now $350 more than the quote we agreed to in writing. I called the owner and he said his workers got permission from my wife to perform the work for the additional $350 which was not true. I would be very careful using this company and I truly believe they ripped me off for $350.

Had an emergency and to my relief they showed up in an hour on a holiday weekend (Friday). George is a very experienced plumber in a family business and found and fixed a terrible basement ceiling leak within minutes. They were out in an hour with a very reasonable price.

I just want to say that Commonwealth is a great company. They promptly called, showed up on time and replace our hot water heater that same day. The quote was fair. You can try to shop around and get other quotes, but I think you will be wasting your time.

I had a great experience with this company, overall. We hired them to tie the kitchen "graywater" lines into our waste line, as inquired by our home inspection (we were selling the house). There was one snafu at first because they missed my appointment due to other emergencies and didn't call to let me know. But they promptly came that evening, after hours, and stayed later than expected. The guy that came (his name slips my mind right now) was great. He gave me a price before he started, which was very fair. As he proceeded, the job turned out to be more complicated than we all imagined (old, crusty pipes!), but he stayed calm, cool and collected and executed a new plan quickly. Of course, the price ended up being higher, but he told me that up front and I expected it. It was still a fair price. Use them and you will be happy you did. I will not hesitate to recommend them and use them again.
