We installed a brand new unit costing over 5 grands with this company . the sales rep was extremely nice and promised us excellent customer service. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT ANYTHING LIKE WHAT WE WERE PROMISED. Our brand new unit BROKE DOWN WITHIN 3 MONTHS . The service tech came to fix it and we requested to have the top unit which is also under Preventetive maintainence to take a look at it as the top floor unit was working double due to the lower floor being broken for 2 days. I was told that would cost us additional $95 even though I have a pm on the top floor and a 10 year warranty on the new unit. The technician and the owner Vicki both refused to take a look at it without $95 extra fee. MY FRUSTATION CAME FROM 1stly with my brand new unit breaking down in the 1st 3 months of installation. 2nd They were trying to take advantage and charge the extra $95 . The tech was already here for the breaking of the BRAND NEW UNIT but they still wanted to make the extra $95 just to look at the 2nd unit. I would be very careful in purchasing any kind of equipment with this company as not only do the equipment fail within months but the customer service tries to milk you as every oppurtunity. After I spoke with Vicki and asked her how we could start the process of returning the unit she said that someone will call me back . The technician received a call and did finally take a look at the unit before he left . NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

They explained everything we needed to know. They were quick with the service and treated us in a courteous manner.

Premium quality. They were prompt, kind, professional and easily could have tried to talk me into a new unit. Efficiently replaced the capacitor and the system was cooling again in 30 minutes. This is my third experience with them and they are always phenomenal. I have the HIGHEST possible standards for vendors and am quite untrusting but these guys won me over in a major way. Highly recommended.

The installation went well until a part broke when installing the water lines from the water heater to the humidifier. They came back the next day and fixed the issue. After completion, the county inspector came a found a problem with a valve and this was promptly corrected the next day. All in all, it went well. The installation team was prompt, courteous and professional. The whole process took 2 1/2 days plus 2 days for the county inspection.

I'm really happy I went with W.G. Speeks for my new heating/AC system (heat pump). It was installed on 10/31/11 and serviced every 6 months since then (per contract with them). Sean was the technician who performed my maintenance check on 5/15/13. He was right on time, courteous and efficient. He explained things to me so I know how to take care of my new system. Even the appointment scheduler was kind and accommodating. This has been my experience with W.G. Speeks since the new installation. Every business likes to get the new, big, expensive jobs. But the real proof of a business is in their service after the job is done. When it's good or excellent, it should be acknowledged. Thus, this review.

They are great. They are very thorough. I bought a yearly maintenance plan with them. They really service the equipment and everything runs better. I haven't had any problems with the heat pump since I've been doing work with them. They call me when they are on their way.

A close friend referred me to W.G. Speeks when it was time for me to replace my home's heat pump. They were one of 4 estimates that I received. I decided to go with Speeks, not based solely on their estimate, but on the initial consultation I had with their representative. He showed up on time, was professional and extremely knowledgeable about the system I needed. He provided several options - all at different price points - and answered my questions until I was satisfied. My system was installed in one day and I've been happy ever since. While I continue to have my new system serviced/inspected every 6 months, I had to schedule a service call when my compressor was making an odd noise. Technician came out as scheduled and reviewed the issue with me. Today, 3/6/13, we had a major snow storm and it was the first real extreme weather event since my systems was installed. I (thought) my compressor wasn't defrosting properly, so I phoned the office and spoke to Marion (first), then Ronnie Hall. Marion told me what to do to stop the compressor and use emergency heat until a technician could come out the next day. She then connected me to Ronnie who talked me through the process of how to program my digital thermometer to make sure I had heat until they could see me the next morning. He also told me some things to look for on the compressor while it was snowing/icing up to know for sure whether the unit was work correctly or not. So, I did what he said, and fortunately, everything was working fine and I didn't need the service call after all. Ronnie and Marion never acted like I was bothering them with my questions and 3 calls that day. I was grateful for their help, especially on such a horrible day weather-wise. You can get a system installed by anyone at any price. But you can't always guarantee that the people you hire will follow through with great service. W.G. Speeks did and gave me some peace of mind for the rest of the day. If you're looking for a quality company with great service and pricing, call them.

Am pleased with this company. I was serviced the same day that I reported the problem.

I had purchased a bi-yearly checkup agreement that they would come out and check the unit once in the spring and once in the fall. They are very quick. If you have a problem they don't make you wait for forever.

We found them really outstanding. We have a service policy with them. They call us every six months to schedule preventative maintenance. They put you at the top of the list when you have a maintenance plan with them.

W G Speeks had provided service for me previously on my heat pump. I was disappointed in their service the last time I used them because they didn't give me the quality of heat pump I was expecting. I have not used them since, and have moved onto another company. The service personal was friendly, and knowledgeable. They used to give me a maintenance check, but this time they didn't. This last install I would give them a C. I will not be using W G Speeks again.

Noted blinking on emergency light on upstairs heat pump unit. When I called Speeks the lady was informative about reasons why light might be blinking. Upon knowing that an actual problem exhisted was told diagnostic fee up front. Technician came out that very day. Meanwhile I surfed the internet to see if the blinking light was a code - which it was. It was a high pressure code. Also read about some people's nightmares of getting it fixed (finding the actual problem). Curtis was able to diagnose the problem on that very visit. Work was scheduled to be performed in a timely manner (morning of 2nd day as next day was booked and not an emergency). Curtis arrived promply and began to evacuate system, cleaned clogged piston, also cleaned lines. He informed me of a leak in my system as I was short 2 lbs of R-22 when he evacuated system. Climbed stairs many times (to 2nd floor and attic) to check system and function (told him he certainly didn't need a gym membership). He told me what to be on the lookout for if R-22 got low, what I would see. Very courteous!

They ripped me off. They charged me too much for an inexpensive part and an easy installation.

We have an annual service contract with them. They provide excellent service and are very efficient. They meet with their schedules.

I have been using them for years. They are very professional and give you options. They respond quickly and they do good work.

I had an emergency with my air conditioner. I called them in the morning and they came out at noon. The part that held all the wire in my air conditioner had fallen down somewhere. They told me to turn off my air conditioning unit and I turned it off. They did not cut the wires but fixed it. They were very good and quick. They were a little pricy. They always called twenty minutes to let me know before they got in.

2 units were installed incorrectly so they produced only AC because they used the wrong driers. For 8 years the only heat on those two units were coming from the heat strip (expensive). Did service calls on the two which were not producing much heat For 8 years and were told 10 times that something was wrong (they checked and said the two units were fine). Called another company that took 3 minutes to find the incorrectly installed parts.

I called them on a Monday morning, and they were able to fit me in the same day! They called to let me know they were on the way 45 minutes ahead of time, and again 15 minutes before they arrived. The service man was very professional, speedy, and thorough.

We were very satisfied with the work. During the investigation period, they communicated well. They came to my house a couple of times. They listened to my concerns and responded to them. They followed up on everything I asked them to do. They did everything they said they were going to do in the proposal at the price that they said they were going to do it at. The workers were very professional. I wasn't able to be here during the installation but my wife was. They were on time and courteous. The only negative thing I experienced was that they left some metal shavings in my driveway that I had to clean up, but they did not cause any damage. It was a very positive experience.

Very pleased, also pleased with follow-up.

Speeks Heating & Air came right out to access the problem. They discovered that the filter on our air conditioning unit had not been changed for a long time. They suggested checking our duct work in our heating system. Everything is working fine now.

He came out and was able to pinpoint the problem immediately. The gentleman seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. He ordered the part and came back in the next day and had my unit up and running in no time. I was really pleased with his work and price of the job too.

I have an annual contract with Speeks to come out and do check-ups on my unit. Speeks is a very trustworthy company they don t come out looking to rip you off with problems that aren't real. They do a very through check of the unit and also give tip on how to keep it running good.

We have been using this company for over twenty years. Our original unit was installed by them and also the new updated one a couple of years ago. I would not hesitate to have them return at any time as they do an excellent job.
