Scheduled via email. I was slightly disappointed that I would have to wait several weeks, but no big deal. On the day of, painter showed up at 8:15 a.m. and immediately got to work. The current color was a dark brown high gloss so he had to prime first and then paint. He took down all the towel bars, outlets and TV and asked if he needed to do any wall repair (if we weren't going to re- hang a towel bar for example). When I got home from the work, all the painting was completed. I replaced the shelves, and put the switch plates on (paint wasn't yet dry before he left) later that evening. It was a mini makeover. Will definitely do again.

He was great. I would give him A (s) without question. The quality of his work was excellent. I have already recommended him to my son and to several people too. I would definitely use him again.

Trogdon was great. They painted the interior of my house in four days. My house is about 1700 sq ft. Very nice guys. Got there before 9am every day and stayed till about 5. The were a third of the price of all other estimates I got.

They were an excellent provider, the deal was a fantastic value, and the end result was excellent. My wife is extremely satisfied. They had to paint arched ceilings as high as 18' high. They showed up and finished on time, cleaned up well, and upon meeting the painter and dealing with him during the week, he left no doubt that we were dealing with a true professional. Not only that, but the reaction when I tell people how much I paid indicates that we got a great deal. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I thought they could do a complete room in a day, but when I talked to the owner he told me they couldn't do the walls and the trim in a day. The painter ended up finishing early, but it did not make me happy that I thought they could have done both the walls and the trim in a day, so he left early. I was more disappointed in the conversation I had with the owner, not the painter himself.

He showed up on time, he set up quickly, he painted and sang. He cleaned up and left. He was very friendly, and business-like. I plan on using this service again.

It was fine and they were upfront about when they could come. He called to let me know he would be about 20 minutes late. I explained to him what I wanted and he was responsive. He came back the same week to finish the windows frames and sills. He was very careful with the work. I would use this particular painter again.

They did a good job. There were some extra costs as it did take more than one day to complete all the work but I would definitely use them again.

Great work. Representative arrived on time and introduced himself with photo ID and business card. Review our job requirements and any issues prior to beginning work. Finished some additional wall prep before beginning painting. The painting was done in a very professional manner, additionally his cleanup after the job was outstanding. The painter work through the lunch hour and completed the work prior to the prescribed work duration which was great. Would highly recommend this company for any of your painting needs and will used them again for our painting.

Trogdon Enterprises was a pleasure to work with. Their prices were very reasonable and they worked with me to get the project completed on a short time frame, right before the holidays! They were such a lifesaver. The owner himself will actually speak with you and really takes ownership in his work and his employees. They were very professional in their work ethic and in communicating. Everything is well documented in professional invoices.

Painter was very professional and skilled. Difficult job where you had to paint the inside the squares of the trey ceiling. He did an expert job!

Raheem arrived on time and quickly got started. Such an awesome painter with 20 years experience. Of course he doesn't use painters tape, not even a drop cloth. He was incredible! Very easy to talk with. I will be calling Trogdon again in the very near future! I absolutely recommend this company!

From the very first contact, Jay was very professional! He arrived on time and supplied my estimate a couple of days later. Once we agreed to the terms, he sent his worker, Rahim, over to begin the work. The wallpaper was on the walls for at least 15 years and was very difficult to remove, but Rahim worked hard and got it done and the room looks beautiful! I couldn't be more pleased with his work. He's proud of the work he does and that is evident in his quality. He always arrived on time and worked diligently until the work was done. I'm already planning on hiring them again for more jobs in the spring. I highly recommend Trogdon Enterprises and if you get to request a specific person - ask for Rahim! You won't be disappointed! ** UPDATE - 5 MONTHS LATER ** - I have to update this formerly glowing review. Several days after the paint job was performed and I had lived with the new paint job for a few days, I can honestly say they did NOT do a good job. From a distance it looks great, but up close, you can see shortcomings. They did not prep the walls properly - leaving nails in the walls and painting over them! Naturally, I wanted to hang something new up on the newly painted wall and because they painted over the nail, it tore a piece of the paint off when removing the nail. Now I have a lovely dime sized chip off the new paint because they did not remove the nails prior to painting. They also ran out of paint in the bathroom and didn't buy more which would have covered some of the imperfections that are showing through the paint. Another issue is that there is new paint chipping off the baseboards in the living room and hall way which they were supposed to have prepped prior to painting. That was also not done properly or the new paint wouldn't be chipping off. They also missed a door in the living room they were supposed to paint. It was apparent from an email from Jay that he was anticipating the painting would move quicker than it actually did, therefore, the painters were rushed at the end. I was even told that they were needed for another job. Time management is their responsibility and a customer is just as important as another customer regardless of the size of the job. I emailed Jay Trogdon on January 13th expressing my concerns about the above issues and asking that the issues be resolved. He responded 3 days later with this email "Ill look in to this soon. Out of town right now." I never heard back from him. To this day, the issues are unresolved. For $1,300 I should get a paint job that lasts longer than 2 months and a business owner who cares enough about his reputation to resolve them.

John arrived on time and was very professional. He was very neat and cleaned up after the job was completed. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
