Did a great job with a 4-5 member crew. They blew all the leaves to the front and neatly piled by the edge of the road. Another truck crew came and vacuumed up all the leaves.

I purchased with a special on Angie's List. Justin contacted me and a group came to clean up leaves and weeds. They were very thorough and consulted me about which plants to remove. The yard looked great when they were done.

They did a great job. I would definitely hire again. Multiple individuals working but the total time worked was 8 hours. Very impressed with attention to detail.

Justin and his crew were everything you want in a service provider. They were responsive, punctual, and did a great job. I believe the pricing was very fair and I’d definitely hire them again. Highly recommend!

I asked the owner, Justin, if the team could pick up 6 small, light, trees at Lowe's Store on Sheila Lane and that I would meet them there. They were too heavy for me. It was on the way to my house and not out of the way. I called Justin at 11:39 am 9/28 to tell him I was heading to Lowe's to meet them. I called again at Lowes. They were not there yet and Justin (owner) said they probably had to stop for gas. The package deal I bought was $199 for 8 hours of work with 2 men or 4 men for 4 hours of work. I did not know how many were coming. Around 11:50 am a pickup truck pulling a flatbed open grilled trailer arrived in front of the lawn and garden entrance with 4 guys, Jason, Cameron, TG and another Justin. They were not there more than 15 minutes and the 6 Giant 5 ft. Thuja Arbavitae were in the front entrance for pickup, not more than 50 ft. from the trailer. When I met Jason and told him where the 15 gal. trees were for pickup, I mentioned there were 6 and he said he was told there were 2. So, we went on with it and they loaded them on the trailer which was already one third filled with green brush cuttings, not empty as you would expect. I had them follow my car to my house which wasn't even 10 minutes away. They began working sometime after 12 noon. I wasn't timing them and didn't need to, I thought. None of them wore gloves. Cameron joked that his hands were tough from all the brush he was used to lifting. Not long into their work, one of them knocked over a red Lantern bird feeder with a handful of brush and the glass broke on the concrete. I said it was okay, it could happen! Was I supposed to flip out and cuss him out in front of the others? A chain saw was needed for some big branches, but the owner Justin had been infomed of this. There were cuttings all over the yard and I walked with Jason all around the property pointing them out. Later when the work was under way, Jason commented that so much of the sticks and cuttings were embedded in the undergrowth that they would be there all day getting all of it up. Inwardly, I was shaking my head in disbelief. A client shouldn't have to do their work for them. That's what they were there for. I was friendly to them and talked and joked with them. That shouldn't have affected or slowed them down. Around 1 pm one worker asked if I had anything cold to drink, which I had planned on offering them eventually. I gave them 3 cold Zevia sodas, one of them said no thanks. I asked them to help me cut the single trunk mulberry about 30 feet high. After about three requests, I gave up. One of them didn't want to risk it swinging around and getting hit when it fell. I understood that and respected that completely. They continued doing their thing. By 2pm, not even 2 hours into their efforts they told me "we're finished"and I did not feel like arguing with Jason. He had stated that I had lost time because of the small tree pickup. That was not out of their way because earlier, I asked him where they had been coming from and he said they were near Courthouse Road and Midlothian Trnpk. Crossing Midlothian Trnpk to Huguenot Road to Forrest Hill Avenue was a direct route, practically nonstop to my house. When Justin said they were finished, I was sitting down in the shade and could hardly believe him. Almost anyone, doing any kind of yard cleanup would before the finish, walk around the property to make sure everything was clear and in order, a clean finish, which it was not. The foreman, not me should have insisted more needed to be done. All that was needed was to simply bend over and literally pickup the cuttings of all sizes. There were wood pieces all over the yard. In order to cut the grass I would be collecting a high amount of sticks everywhere that they missed. There were 8 hands to work, 2 arms on 4 healthy guys who only needed to lean over and pick up all that was left. There was no way I could go and comfortably cut the grass. It wasn't worth risking even a heavy duty electric. That's the way it went! HOW would you feel? I didn't touch the yard that afternoon and thought about the results that night. The next day, disgusted, I began picking up sticks, enough to fill up an RVA trash can. I then stopped, looked around and thought "I cannot believe how much crap was still all over the yard." If every job goes like this, how does one stay in business.? TDR........

Excellent. They did a wonderful job and were exceptionally thorough with their clean up work.

The whole process went very smoothly. Their agent met me at the agreed time and I briefed him on what needed to be done. I wasn't there when the job was done but I went by the next day and they had done a superb job. I would hire them again.

Work was professionally done. There was some delay in providing definitive time for work to be done. Business owner was personable and on-site when work was accomplished.

The deal I purchased was $299 for 8 hours of landscaping. I was not home when the work was done so I do not know how many workers came and how long they were there for. What I do know is that more work got done than what I expected. All of the flower beds were weeded, the shrubs pruned, driveway weeded, ivy removed, overgrown area cut back, and all leaves/sticks removed from the backyard. I really did not expect the latter to get done. Not only was it all done, it was done well and all debris was removed. If it wasn't for the work being done it looked like they were never there. I could not be more happy with the work that was done. The owner, Justin, was very prompt and professional with his communications and scheduling. I do not know how good their pricing is for services not purchased on Angie's List but I would definitely be willing to have the return for future work and recommend them to others.

Did not start out great and the owner listened to my concerns and made it all right. In addition they come out when in area to spray. Also the owner helped get my mower started and got me out of a bind. I very much appreciate RVA Lawn care and highly recommend them. Justin is an honest guy who cares about his clients.

They were outstanding. They showed up bright and early (as I requested). They worked really hard and had great attitudes. In fact, they were smiling and friendly. They also gave me wise advice about my yard and particular plants. They really know their stuff! They cleaned everything up and hauled it off. It was money well spent. I intend to hire them again.

I highly recommend this company. The owner is always prompt in returning my emails and they are amazing at working around our needs and budget. Every interaction I have had with the employees that cut our lawn has been incredibly pleasant.
