It cost us less than we thought it would. Their price was lesser than what three other contractors had given. We insisted on having the house wrapped in an insulation product that we had selected. He attached the siding that we had selected over that. He was excellent. He was personable and reliable. He was also apparently extremely knowledgeable. He came up with a couple of creative fixes. He is a nice man.

Miguel's team does excellent work. His estimate is spot on accurate and he works very well with scheduling the work when you need it.

I was very pleased. He was very prompt, the workmanship was excellent, and he did not charge me more than the estimate even though he repaired a couple items that were not in the estimate.

He has a great crew that works fast and more importantly they do quality work. In addition to the vinyl siding they rebuilt the front porch and helped with a major kitchen remodeling project. They also did some other interior repairs caused by a roof leak. I would highly recommend Miguel Torres Contracting. They will exceed your expectations.

I was impressed with his job for two main reasons: 1) The quickness of his response. and 2) His resourcefulness in finding siding which would be a match for the damaged siding. Concerning #1, I showed Mr. Torres the problem on a Wednesday, and he told me that he might be back be back in about a week. Instead, he came back on Thursday, the very next day, and completed the job. I was very surprised and happy when I spoke to him on the phone on Friday, and he told me that he was already finished. Concerning #2, Mr. Torres had had some problems finding new siding which was a good match for the damaged siding. To solve this problem, he looked underneath our house, and found some extra siding which was left over from the building of the addition. He used this to replace the old, damaged siding.I was very impressed that he thought to do this. Getting back to #1, the quickness of response, this was very helpful, because we've had quite a bit of snow and rain since he completed the job. We've actually had 3 snowstorms since Mr. Torres finished the job less than 2 weeks ago. I was also very happy with how reasonable his prices were. Mr. Torres was very professional and helpful, and I would strongly recommend his services.

He wrote them up but it took a while to get them. He was fine. The quote was kind of high but he did show an interest in having it wrapped, but it was higher than I expected. He did come out on time.

Mr. Torres came out and gave me an estimate of the job. He explained what the job required and the materials he would use. The day of the project, it was raining and Mr. Torres arrived 10mins before are set appt. time! ( Wow!) When he arrived he showed me all the materials and explained again what he would be doing. After he completed the job, he had me look over everything .... I'm so glad I decided to chose Mr.Torres, his number is a "Must KEEP" for future projects.

Showed up when requested and worked long hours, including over the Christmas holiday, to meet our timeline of having all the painting done before we moved into the house. He was very dedicated and met the deadline. We were grateful for the extra effort!

Mr. Torres did a great job, was professional, and I would hire him again. I only spoke to him over the phone and was pleased by his work.

Mr. Torres made two site visits and provided sketches, materials samples, and a printed estimate prior to beginning our deck project. He proposed a design for the deck addition, which of necessity had an irregular shape. He and his crew of two showed up on time every day of the eight days they worked. Having missed two rain days in the second week of construction, they worked longer hours on the sixth and seventh days and completed the project in two fewer days than Mr. Torres' original projection. We are completely satisfied with the work done on this project, and we appreciated Mr. Torres' several suggestions (e.g., use stain rather than paint of deck railings and posts, thereby averting frequent repaintings).

He was great. He replaced all the bad wood. He went above and beyond, we were extremely pleased!

The entire project went extremely smoothly and without any problems other than the days it rained and they could not work. Showed up when they said they would and they were very professional about they way they did the repair work. They delivered what they promised and exceeded our expectations.

I called him and he came out to give me an estimate. I showed him the problem I was having with the leaky basement door and he quickly explained a solution that he could make to stop the water from getting into the basement. He told me he'd call me when he was available to do the job and gave me an estimate. Two weeks later he called and came the next day to do the work. It took him half of the next day to finish but the estimate proved true. And I am very pleased with his work and professionalism. I will call him again.

Very well. Miguel made an extra effort to get the work done over the holidays and they did a very good job.

I called Miguel in the evening and left a request for an estimate on his voice mail. Miguel called back the next day to arrange a time for the estimate and he was flexible with working around my schedule. Miguel came over at the scheduled time. I showed him the areas needing to be fixed and where we wanted the painting to be done. Miguel asked good questions to make sure he understood what I wanted. He explained what would need to be done and how it would require multiple days to complete. In an effort to save money, I said I would buy the paint and he would only need to touch up the trim where it was impacted by his work. Miguel gave me a price of $1200. Miguel didn't provide a formal estimate form, but offered send me one the next day. We decided to use Miguel and I called him back the next day. I asked if there was any better price he could give and gave me a 10% Angie's List discount, bringing the price to $1080. We agreed on a approximate start date and Miguel said he'd call me a couple of days prior to the start date to confirm. As promised, Miguel called before the start date. Miguel and a helper arrived promptly. He explained what he was planning on accomplishing for the day, then they began right away. They layed tarps everywhere they were working and removed their shoes as whenever they entered the house (not required). Throughout the entire day they only took one break for lunch. When they finished for the day they cleaned up everything. I requested on the 2nd day that Miguel arrive an hour later than originally agreed upon which he was able to do. When he arrived, he told me again what he was planning on accomplishing for the day and began working, again staying on task and cleaning up before leaving. On the 3rd day (Saturday) Miguel arrived with a helper, he reviewed what he wanted to accomplish and they began working. They worked all day with only a small break during the middle of the day to allow the paint to dry. They were not able to finish on Saturday (Miguel had let me know this might be a possibility up front) and we arranged for him to finish up on the following Tuesday. Tuesday he arrived a little early. He had a helper finish up the ceiling as he had to work on another job. He returned by late morning to walk through once everything was completed. On the first day Miguel determined it wasn't necessary to remove one of the sheet rock panels in the ceiling as he had originally thought, and instead repaired the tape in the corner which we didn't discover was coming off until the entertainment center was moved. The only issues was some paint on the arm of the chair, but Miguel was able to clean it without any problem. Since he's left, I've noticed a couple of small details like paint on the light fixture base and some on the trim, but this is small and I need to clean them anyway. All in all, I am very happy with the work done and have already requested an estimate on more work we need done.

Everything went well. He repaired quite a bit of damage that a long dead dog had done. The walls look so nice now, I wish I had been more adventurous in choosing the color!

Miguel was very professional. He was on time and reasonably priced. They worked very hard to finish the job quickly, only taking 3 days. I will hire Miguel again if I need any additional house work completed.

Mr. Torres did a wonderful job! He came when he said and did the work right (for example, he installed new felt before putting up the siding, always primed boards that were cut where they would come together, primed the siding then painted it). He used top quality material (like PVC to replace trim) and he charged exactly what he said he would, despite having to a little extra work because he found more rot than expected. He and his crew were easy to have around. They did not ask a bunch of questions or want to come inside and they worked 12 hour days to get the job done fast.

They did a good job. I have already recommended them to several people. They were on time and answered all of our questions. The quality of the work was fantastic and they finished everything in a good amount of time.
