Mr. Torres was great to work with. He was very quick to set up a conference and provide me with an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and he was able to get the project done the next week even though he ran into some problems that were no fault of his own. Once the front porch steps were removed from the house, he discovered that the builder had not done a good job. The builder had not tied the steps into the house and had used cross beams that were not wide enough to provide ample support. That was why the steps always felt "spongy". He explained all of this in a way that made sense. He offered several solutions to the problem and when I asked what he thought was the best solution he told me and explained why it would be the best. It all made sense to me. The additional cost for materials and labor was reasonable and he had the steps completed the next day. My front porch feels secure and sturdy. I have no doubt these steps will be here for years to come. Mr. Torres was polite, professional, fair, and made everything easy to understand. I plan on doing some other home improvements in the next 6 months and Mr. Torres will be the person I call.

Mr. Torres and his assistant performed excellent work. They have great work ethics. Their arrival was timely: I am very pleased with the finished product.

It was the best experience I have ever had a with a contractor. Miguel is simply the best. Hard working, honest and very talented. He is a true professional and a very nice person.

Miguel is a pro. He did a great job prepping my house which had not seen paint in more than a decade. He was responsive to emails and worked with me along the way if I had found issues. Would recommend him for painting and carpentry.

This is the second time we used Mr. Torres services. What can I say except that he is a true professional. He is responsive, on time, no mess and is meticulous in his work. A joy to work with. I have recommended him to a number of my friends. They agree with my assessment.

I really appreciated that the work site was kept clean and was immaculate every day when they left. My new deck looks absolutely awesome and I love the new planting boxes built into the deck.

It went great. Work was begun ahead of scheduled date & completed in 4 days as Mr. Torres had advised. Everything was cleaned up as expected. Additional amounts charged for replacing rotten wood were very reasonable.

Great - he's slow to respond, but that's because he is very busy and trying to meet the needs of his customers. If you have to have it now, Miguel is not the person for you. If you can wait, he's well worth it. He's coming back to paint te house for us soon.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the job. The only regret is that I didn't give him the job to pour the 14' x 200' aggregate drive to this detached garage which was done 8 months later [that job went to the a sleazeball landscaper from Powhatan VA, whose company changes its name as often as I change my drawers ... and who, fortunately, is now out of business]. When that shoddy work ... or for that matter my main 20-yr old 14'x150' agg driveway ... has to be replaced, Miquel would be my first call. Anyway, Miquel was a pleasure to work with, listened well, was timely [owing to poor weather, he delayed until it could be done right].d

He did outstanding work and we were extremely happy with the service. I would hire him again in a heart beat.

This group did a great job. They showed up exactly on time, did a great job of powerwashing the driveway, walkways and the back deck. Got oil stains off the driveway, got algae or mold or something green off the deck. Left no mess behind at all. Price was exactly as quoted. I'd highly recommend them and if I ever need them again, I won't hesitate to call.

I emailed Miguel Torres Contracting concerning some repairs around my house. The owner called and left a message stating that due to an overload of work, that he would not be able to address my needs until August at the earliest. Although repairs were not done, I appreciate professional calls back stating why they are not able to complete work at this time.

This contractor has a voice-mail system that takes messages - no one at an office answered. I left a message asking them to return my call as I wanted to get an estimate on painting the exterior of my house. They never called back.

We can always count on Miguel to do great work at a fair price.

Mr. Torres did a great job on the exterior of my house, and the price was right. Everything was done very professionally. I am a new customer for Mr. Torres, and I feel lucky because I think he stays very busy. I'll definitely use him again as soon as I need some more painting or carpentry done.
