We had a great experience. They kept us informed of any issues as they arose. The location of the ductwork was an issue and they worked with us to vent it where we wanted it. When one fan was a bit louder than another they came back immediately to diagnose the problem. They were considerate and professional, cleaned up after the job very well.

They arrived on the first day and were unable to find what they needed to complete the job. Homelink called the next day and apologized and sent another person who completed the job in less than a hour. I recieved an invoice for $5 more than his quote. I contacted Homelink and they apologized and sent another invoice for the price of the quote.

Very happy with the response, proposal and workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Everything went extremely well for the most part. The carpet cleaning wasn't as good as everything else, but that only means it would get a B instead of an A. All of the folks doing the jobs were professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant. Bill Maslink, owner of HomeLink, is reliable and I felt he was very honest in what he said about what needed or could be done. Definitely will use again.

Homelink was the second of three companies I hired to repair a leaky window (none of them did the job correctly, and I will submit separate reports on the other two). Though all three experiences were bad, this one was particularly awful because the person sent by the company (I could use his name, but I'll try to be gracious and avoid doing so) not only failed to fix the problem, but also made things worse by screwing up the aesthetics of my home. The problem window was leaking at the inside corner, rotting away the sill. Rather than taking the window out or doing any sort of investigation at all, the contractor went right for the caulk gun and started sealing stuff up at the top of the window, between the window frame and the siding. The guy that had come out from the first company did basically the same thing, but according to this guy from Homelink, the first guy hadn't caulked in the right place (how he could know that without investigating the problem is beyond me). So he runs a little bead of caulk and, BAM, 75 dollars in his pocket. Well, inevitably the window continues to leak the next time it rains, so I call the company back (no one ever answers the phone at this number, by the way, and I always have to leave a message on what sounds like the owner's personal home answering machine). Eventually they send the dude back out, and I had the poor judgment to let him come while I was at work (a bit of advice--never, ever let anyone put a finger on your house when you are not there. It bit me twice in one month and I will never do it again). So, again, instead of investigating the problem, this time he runs a big, messy bead of caulk down the SIDE of my window, leaving blobs and blobs between the window frame and the jagged edges of the vinyl siding where they meet the frame. In addition, some of the caulk had dripped and I could see caulk marks on several pieces of siding under the window. And, did I mention the window of course still leaked? I have never seen blobs of caulk on the vertical side of a window fix a leak, and I will eat my shoe if I ever see it in my lifetime. I've never been so mad in all my life, and I certainly expressed this when I called the company back and left a message on the ever-present home answering machine. To the owner's credit, he did refund my money and sent the contractor back over in January weather to pry out every bit of the caulk with bare fingers. But you know how caulk is. You get it into a small space and it's nearly impossible to get out all the residue without being up there for hours. So he did a passable job and I'll probably scrape the rest out myself once I finally get someone competent to come take the window out. The way things are going--with three failed attempts--I'm beginning to wonder if there is such a thing as competence in the handyman business. Hire this company only if you want to have a coronary early in life.

They were very professional and punctual. They were more forth coming with ideas and suggestions and more enthusiastic about the project then the competition. He took measurements and will be getting back to us with the quote. The marketing representative who came out said they would have the quote by Saturday and we got a call today that it would be Monday or Tuesday. I am fine with that, but someone who might be on a time crunch by have a problem with that.

I think I used them once and I was very satisfied with them. They did the job well; they were reasonable and very professional. I would use them again if needed.

Very professional, especially the plumber, electrician, painter and Steve (who is great at customer service). They all communicated coming and going. The tile workers did an excellent job but lacked communicating their schedule. Bill is excellent to work with and I am VERY happy with the job. I didn't know any contractors and joined Angie's List, reviewed contractors, chose Homelink because of the wonderful communication and willingness to work with my schedule. I would highly recommend Homelink and will use them in the future.

Homelinc coordinated all work to be done; arranged services, and services were delivered on dates set with one change of date agreed upon in advance by subcontracted electrician and homeowner. Interior home cleaning crew excellent and work was beyond that expected. All work was professionally done and of high quality. Installation of electrical was more complex than initial estimate. Homelinc contacted homeowner to insure that an increase in cost of $50 was acceptable before work was initiated. We agreed on the price. Workmanship of electrician was excellent and carried out quickly. He explained fully the change needed to install the receptacle. The joy of "this must have done within two weeks job" was that Bill (Homelinc) managed the process, was professional in every respect and the work performed was of high quality.

They were very nice. They were professional. They arrived promptly. They also supplied the estimate proposal promptly.

Homelink supplied the most professional painting service I have ever had. The painters were on time and went straight to work. They were polite, quite, and clean. Their work was completed ahead of schedule and they even swept my floors before they left! I hired them a second time for an additional interior paint job the following month and received the same superior service.

As all renovation projects are concerned, there were tiny bumps here and there, but Homelink managed any set backs by keeping me aware of the situation and always making me feel that the problem would be resolved in a timely fashion. I was immediately comfortable with Homelink and as I met each team that assisted with the project - carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians. I realized that I was in good hands on every level of the job. The project lasted about 6 weeks and throughout that entire block of time, Homelink was always timely, informative, professional and super clean!

Mailbox arm along with mailbox fell off on Sunday. I called Homelink on Monday and they came out that day to give an estimate. I had an e-mail waiting for me Tuesday morning. They replaced the mailbox on Wednesday. The job was very professional. They even used the correct shade of paint to match the neighborhood standard without direction from me.

Bill Maslink and his contractors supported me throughout a very extensive home renovation. Bill was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire 6 month project and he is still my primary supplier of all home services. I would not have bought the house and embarked on this renovation if I had not know ahead of time that I had his support. Homelink is the best all around company of this type that I have ever dealt with. I recommend them unconditionally.

I had used Homelink for housecleaning services for some time, so I felt confident that the owner, Bill Maslink, would be helpful in coordinating the replacement of our worn-out carpet. I shopped around enough to know what products I wanted and had a pretty good idea what I should be paying. Bill took over from there. He arranged for a couple of flooring specialists to come in for measurements and quotes. He met the representatives and walked through the whole job with them so I wouldn't have to leave work. After he received the quotes, we reviewed them together and I selected a company to do the actual work. I was happy that the Homelink quote came in very close to what I would have expected if I had dealt with that company directly and Bill was going to handle all the scheduling, coordination and supervision for me. On the day of installation (actually several days) Bill monitored the job and all went smoothly.
