It turned out fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. Two people came out to do the job. It ended up being two hours. They did a good job. I was hoping them to do a little better job in the amount of work, like doing the whole baseboard instead of just doing what you can see.

It was fine. I told them to stop at a certain time, but that message wasn't delivered to the workers so they overcharged me. We did settlet hough. The workers did a good job. It was a communication problem on behalf of the owner.

Bought AL deal for trim paining. Great contact/communication from provider. Job done well by polite, professional worker.

They also did some patch work before painting and you cannot tell at all where they had to patch. The service was great and they did a great job.

Rob and his crew are absolutely amazing! From the moment he contacted me to our final walk-through, it was nothing short of a wonderful experience. I've had trouble in the past with contractor's, but Hetrick Painting did an outstanding job on our home . . . they were professional, courteous, meticulous, friendly, and had an eye to detail. Rob followed up each day with a phone call to check on how things were going and to ask if we had an concerns. The customer service was out-of-this-world! Would recommend Hetrick to anyone and everyone . . . we were so pleased . . . can't say enough good things about Rob and his company.

First meeting when we got the estimate was great, but nothing went how we were told it would go when the job started. Rob Hetrick gave us a great price, but then added costs in at the end totaling $1,635 more than the quote. He charged extra for all supplies (paint was separate), nail pops and smoothing drywall. When we got the quote, we went through the house and pointed out all of the nail pops and flaws that needed repairing and he included it in the initial quote. If supplies are not going to be included in the original quote, then this information should be disclosed. He told us we would have 3 crews, each with a supervisor and working on each section of the house, breaking it into 3 sections and it would take 3 days. This did not happen. We did not have the crews like Rob said and the entire job took 7 days. The first crew of 2 painters arrived very late and did a horrible job, 2 other guys had to come back and they spent all day fixing everything they messed up. There were different problems with every crew here. We would talk to Rob about the issues and the next days schedule and when the painters arrived the next day, Rob told them something entirely different than what we discussed. Rob told us to leave the nails in the walls where we wanted to keep pictures, everything else would be patched by the drywall guys. The third crew of painters pushed in the nails and painted over them, so when we went to re-hang pictures we had to pull the nails out and chunks of paint and drywall came off which meant more repairs and touching up was needed. We paid to have all ceilings, walls, trim and doors painted. They did not paint all the trim or all sides of the doors. We were VERY adamant about them not getting paint on our furniture or floors, but they did. Rob assured us that everything would be completely covered and it wasn't. They got paint on a new leather recliner, dining room chairs, cedar chest, granite counters, hardwood floors, on the carpet in the 3 bedrooms, etc. They put a ladder in our garden tub and scratched it. Rob said he would send someone to fix it...that never happened. Rob told us that when the job was complete, he would do a walk-thru with us and we would pay him then (if satisfied). He asked us to pay a $1,500 "deposit" to one of the painters when the job was almost complete (check payable to the painter). He then asked us to pay the balance of the job payable to another painter.

It went okay, but it was more costly than I realized. However, they were prompt and they showed up when they said they were going to show up.

They were very professional, punctual and were great with details. We were very happy with their services.

I had to replace the interior gutters and needed to use another company. Mr hedrick was very helpful to me.

His entire crew are fantastic. They were professional and polite always showing up on time and doing quality work. Our old house had to have major repairs to the siding and trim work and his crew completed it in a timely manner so that we could put our house on the market as soon as possible. In our new home, we only had a 7 days from the time I called Rob until we were scheduled to move in and we wanted our interior painted before we had our new carpets laid in the next 5 days. He accomplished the task and even made necessary repairs on the sheet rock.

Rob responded quickly to my initial call and came out to provide an estimate. Prices were reasonable and the timeline fit with mine, work would be done within a week or so, and I called back the next day to say "let's go!" I chose my paint and left (per Rob's instructions) the colors on his voice mail, but didn't hear back. Left another and didn't hear back. A week later he called and said on vacation with no phone reception. He promised to have someone call to schedule the work, which they did and came a day later. The guys who came were so nice, neat, polite and did a great job. I would have liked to have known he was not in, I assumed he was ignoring my calls and was a irritated-had I known it would have been fine, but not knowing, not hearing was not good. But, giving the benefit of the doubt, he may have thought he told me... Overall it was a pretty good experience!

High quality work. On time start and finish. Friendly. Nontrivial cost overrun came as a surprise at the end, but Rob graciously honored the original quote.

It took a while to get together but when we did the job was excellent. Both Rob and the workers are courteous and meticulous about the work.

It was great. Rob and I played phone tag a little bit, but the work was scheduled quickly and done very professionally. The painters were very polite. They worked well and efficiently. The price was great and was almost half of what another painting company quoted me. When they were finished the lead painter had me look everything over to make sure I was satisfied. I notice a tinny area where the bright blue had bled through. He immediately fixed it. As he was walking out he noticed a tinny drip on the wall and pulled out his paint brush and fixed it even though I hadn't noticed it and he had already cleaned up. My only complaint was that the paint lid was not sealed all the way after they left. It was a simple fix. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone that asks.

This was overall a bad experience, although it appears that Mr. Hetrick is a nice guy. It took quite a while to get the initial appointment scheduled, which was partly due to my unavailability. We settled on June 5. This was a no-show. I had to take the initiative to reschedule. We agreed to July 26. Worker showed up a little late, but no big deal. He did not have any drywall to do the small patches I requested, nor did he have the mesh to handle the repairs, and had to go to the HW store. He did pretty good work with the patching but could not complete the sanding due to health problems. He reassured me Mr. Hetrick would be contacting me to complete the job. I have not heard back from him. I have very rough unsanded patches on my walls, which I will need to sand myself. I think this is a pretty good company, but they were not very interested in taking time for a job that had already been paid for. Again, they may be a good painting company, but be sure to not prepay or take one of the Angie's List prepackaged offers.

The technician they sent did a thorough job, but was a little slow. He ended up going over two hours, and I was to pay extra. He still had an hour to go on my ceiling, and said he would come back since he had another appointment. He never came back, and never called, not even for the two hours he was owed.

I purchased a 'big deal' item - 3 hours of wallpaper removal for $99. I exchanged messages with the company a few times and we were finally able to speak over the phone in early May. At that time, he was going to check his schedule and get back to me on availability. I have not heard back from him. In the meantime, I have removed the wallpaper myself and I would like to get a refund on the $99 I paid for this service but never received.

I got this deal on angies list in April. I made it clear that I was in no hurry and could be flexible with my schedule. Provider did follow up and call. I tried to schedule a few times and finally needed to have the work done. Provider was too busy to schedule the job at that point and I had to make other arrangements.

They did a really good job and they were always on time. They were really good and really nice guys too.

Went great. They did a fantastic job! Very professional and responsive. My kitchen looks new and bright now.

The painter called to schedule the appointment and showed up at the time we agreed. The painter did his work, and it was a quality job. The only thing I can say wrong was it was a little messy. There were a few places where there was paint on the floor, but he may have been rushing to complete the job in 3 hours as that was the "Big Deal" that I purchased (3 hours of painting). But overall everything was pretty good, and professional. I would use this company again if I need painting done.

lI provided a gallon of paint for the job of painting my faded shutters, and Ahab cleaned and painted all the shutters perfectly. He asked me to see the difference his painting made on one shutter compared to the unpainted shutter before he painted the rest of the shutters. It was amazing to see how faded the shutters had become over a few years. Ahab was so very nice and professional, and I really liked his work. He was was very conscientious and it took him only a few hours to complete the job. I highly recommend him for any painting job! Rob Hetrick's cost of the job was very reasonable compared to other painting contractors.
