About us

Over 20 years ago, Rob Hetrick, owner of HPI, began a small painting company to help support his growing family. He made sure he always took the time to recognize exactly what the client had in mind and to understand all their expectations. If there was something that a prospective customer wanted that he was unsure of, he went out and learned the process completely before committing to the job. After more than twenty years, Rob has gained a vast knowledge of the painting business and keeps himself updated regularly with the improvements in both methods and product in this ever-advancing industry. Rob keeps his crew learning, too, and also tries to educate potential clients with this information as it pertains to their individual job so that they, the customer, will have a fuller understanding of what he and his crew will be doing. Description of Work: They give you this great price, but then after you accept it they hit you up for all these fees. All of the items they need to paint with, not including the paint. They also charge for someone to come in and fix the wall if it has a hole. Their painting was not very good either.

Description of Work: Ordered 3 hours of drywall/plaster repair from Hetrick Painting, Inc. The work was well done, and I have no complaint with the service itself. I did have a somewhat difficult time connecting with the owner to schedule the job: calls weren't returned and voicemails weren't answered. However, that may have been the result of the Christmas/New Year holiday period and an overwhelming response to the Angie's List Deal. Overall, I feel the experience was well worth it, and I would definitely use the services of Hetrick Painting, Inc. again in the future.

Description of Work: Hetrick Painting Inc painted the exterior of our home. They spent as much time prepping as they did painting. My husband was working from home the day they painted and was very impressed by how careful and thorough they were. They even made an inexpensive suggestion about a window lintel that looks great. The painters were very personable.
