The service turned out perfectly. I had some issues, and he worked with me to resolved the problem. The job took longer than the big deal covered, and so I paid an additional amount.

It was good. He fixed the paint chips that were in the doors. They sent guy out to do the job and he was nice.

The quality of their work was fine. However, it took about two months for them to come out and do the work, and their price was considerably higher than we anticipated. Ultimately, they demanded cash from us before they would finish the work.

Everything went well. They were on time, polite and professional.

I slammed Hetrick pretty hard in my original review, because I was frustrated. Today, his two workers completed the work I needed done, to my satisfaction.

Rob sent two painters who were both very professional, punctual, and did an excellent job. They were able to paint the kitchen and bathroom in 4 hours. Considering the amount of time it would have taken for us to do it ourselves and the fact that they did such a great job, it was money well spent. I have talked to Rob since then about painting the rest of our house. He is someone I can trust to do business with.

The only thing I would ask to be done differently was that the outside edge where the trim met the wall wasn't painted on a couple of doors--probably because he was waiting for the caulk to dry as he painted the face of the trim and simply forgot to come back to it. We were using oil-based paint which isn't easy to work with but the work looked great and was completed in an amazingly short time.

Original contact did not have correct phone number. Delays were addressed by overwhelming response to Big Deal, snowy weather, holidays, employee medical problems. Very polite when I called to reschedule. Work when completed, was great, workers polite and neat. OK if not emergency to do.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal for 4 hours of drywall work at $99. I was impressed with this provider. He contacted me promptly and scheduled the work. The person doing the work was punctual and worked the entire time. He was professional and explained about the problems caused by settling. All in all everything went well and I would definitely hire Hetrick Painting again.

Arrived on time. Did a very professional, neat painting job. Cleaned up after the work was done. You'd never know he was there. Will hire again when next room is ready for painting.

They were very meticulous and thorough. I'm very pleased with the quality of their work and would hire them again.

Expected to use the deal which was three hours and possibly another couple of hours. I had forgotten that there was a large mirror to be taken down when he arrived he remarked about the mirror and said he needed help. No surprise, that was fine, another gentleman came and help him take the mirror down, they were very careful taking that down. Stripping wallpaper was another matter as far as I could tell they were only using a spray bottle of some kind of loosener and the scraper the wall was severely damaged only about a fourth of the wallpaper was taken down in the time allotted. I gave them more time agreed to pay for more time they worked until about 130 in the afternoon and announced that they were leaving would come back another day. I opted not to have them back, using my fabric steamer I removed most of the wallpaper myself. the person I hired to do the painting came and finished the job. I would not use these people again.

They painted the baseboard on the stairs and did an excellent job. I was impressed with the service that we were provided.

Because the damage in question was limited to a few places and required only two of the three hours of labor covered by Angie's Big Deal to complete, this was a relatively simple job for a professional. And my wife and I are pleased with the results. But the overall experience serves as a reminder of the downside of Big Deals: Sometimes such deals can be too successful for the vendor. In this case, we think the company got more calls than it could handle. We placed the order on December 14 but were not able to talk with someone at the company until shortly before Christmas, at which time the owner, Mr. Hetrick, honestly admitted he was stretched thin and asked us to call back after New Year's. We did so on January 9 but did not hear back until the 14th. We were then able to schedule the work for the following week. Happily, we were not in any rush to make the repairs. The man who arrived at our house to do the work was punctual, polite, and conscientious. But he came in a personal car, which meant he lacked some of the equipment he needed, such as a ladder to reach some of the damaged areas and a vacuum to clean up. We provided both of these items. A commercial vehicle (with company markings) would have been better, but in all fairness, I realize the vendor was doing his best to meet demand. Bottom line: We are glad the repairs are made. All's well that ends well.

Herrick painters could not have been more courteous and professional. The price was more than the initial $99.00 since the walls needed much work. But it was very reasonable. Can't wait to hire them for future projects!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great! They patched it up beautifully almost like nothing happened that was pretty significant. We are preparing our house for sale so we may be needing Angie's List quite a bit. We just had to make the bathroom area look better. It was wonderful! We literally used the whole 3 hours with all the different little odd repairs. We may use them in the future for painting. The service was incredible! $99 for what was done was great.

Great. I really enjoyed Rob's professionalism. He sent two great guys to paint the room in one day. I just had to pick the color and give him a swatch or a catalog number, which I did. The cost of the paint was not included in the Big Deal; it might've been $35-40 bucks because it was a quality paint. The paint job itself was very good. Not "perfect", but having painted many rooms myself, I can appreciate that "perfect" is not possible. I touched up one or two thin spots with the leftover paint (because I'm picky that way). There was one tiny spot of paint on my hardwood floor that I was able to clean up with no problem, but in general I saw that the painters were very careful with my home and my belongings. So, the standard comes down to the question of would I use them again. Definitely.

The Hetrick painting crew (two men) showed up promptly and were professional and did an excellent job. I even hired them to come back the next day to paint another room and Rob was nice about squeezing me in. I would highly recommend Hetrick Painting A+++!!

One word - fantastic. One of the Hetrick employees came and removed his shoes as he surveyed the area to be worked on. He then carefully brought in the equipment to do the job and took his time to do it right. The result was a fantastic repair that is much better than I could have ever done. The owner, Rob, then came out to provide a price for actually painting the ceiling as well as some other painting jobs. His prices seemed very reasonable and he offered the paint at his discount. The coupon was for 3 hours and it ended up taking around 5, so he offered me the additional time at the coupon rate. In the end, Rob made sure that before he left I was completely satisfied. I'd certainly use them in the future (and I very well may for the jobs that Rob and I discussed while he was here).

The owner, Rob Hetrick, provided us with the original estimate and arranged for the work to take place around our schedule. Once his paint crew began, they did a very neat and thorough job. We were impressed by the quality of their work, so we had them paint the ceilings in two additional bathrooms to correct work that had been performed there by a previous contractor. One thing that we liked about dealing with Hetrick Painting was that Rob gave complete control of the job to his crew boss Darryl (who is an excellent painter), so if we had a question, concern, or wanted to modify something, Darryl had the authority to deal with the issue.

They did a great job. They were able to work with our closing and move in dates. Rob came back and fixed any missed spots. He even came back a second time and repaired some scuff marks left by the movers. That was great because all our painting tools were in boxes someplace.
