Description of Work: Two thumbs up for Bobby Quinn and his team over at Griffith. They came out and installed a Mitsubishi mini-split in our sunroom. The crew arrived on time at 8am sharp, worked hard and were finished by noon. A great experience all around!

Description of Work: Griffith was very thorough when explaining their product and services to replace our 2 heat pumps. We had a challenge with a dual-fuel heat source which they were able to encompass into their proposal. After installation, we had an issue with one of the thermostats switching to the dual-fuel setting and Griffith immediately setup a date/time on-site visit to our available schedule to review, research (with manufacturer) and advise how to adjust the settings. A very responsive, responsible and knowledgeable provider!

Description of Work: They replaced an ancient heat pump with a high-efficiency model. They analyzed air flow and recommended dual-zone controls, which work wonderfully. They showed up as scheduled and did the work as promised. They had to come back once to fix a problem and they were here the next day.

Description of Work: Griffith installed a new, Carrier Infinity heat pump with dual zone control. I shopped this around and they met the lowest price and beat a local competitor by several grand. The install was great. They showed up on time, brought all of the stuff needed, and completed the job as promised. They even had the Carrier rep show up to make sure that I knew how to use the high-tech system. This is the second unit they've installed, and I'll keep using them. | |I've called for service three times (once on the first unit, once for a small installation over site, once for a component failure) and they have been very responsive and have fixed things on the first service visit. | |I recommend Griffith.

+ -1 moreRobert arrived promptly to give an estimate on the work and to describe the types of equipment Griffith installs. He gave me two options at two different price points (both of which were very reasonable compared to the three other estimates that I got from other companies). Once I decided on which heat pump to install, they put me on the schedule two days later. Brad and Aaron came to do the actual installation (they were about an hour later than scheduled, but they did call to say they were on the way). They did an excellent job and left everything very tidy at the end. They were both very pleasant and they finished the entire job in one day. They forgot to leave the owner's manual for the air handler, but I called the office, and they are going to put one in the mail for me. All in all, the price was very reasonable, and they did a good, and quick, job.
Description of Work: Griffith removed a 24-year-old non-functioning oil furnace, an outdoor air conditioning unit, and an indoor cooling coil and installed a new heat pump and indoor air handler with electric strip heat.

+ -1 moreOverall, Griffith was fine to work with. I think I got a pretty good deal on a very good American Standard A/C system. American Standard makes units for Trane. My only issue concerned their estimate. They quoted some really high prices on things that normally should be included, i.e., $250.00 for freon reclaimation (they have to do this anyway if they're replacing the evaporator coil), $160.00 for a new pad for the outside unit to sit on (my old concrete pad was just fine and they ended up using it) and, well, you get the picture. I really had to negotiate to get the price down to where I felt it was fair. After that, they were great. They were actually early when they came and they did a fine job with the installation. They left a bit of a mess inside where they installed my thermostat, but otherwise, it was fine.
Description of Work: Installation of a new central air conditioning system. This included installation of an outside condenser unit, an evaporator coil inside (mounted on the furnace), and a new thermostat. It also included hauling away the old system parts and general cleanup.
