Mike Cole (owner) was very pleasant on the telephone, very understanding of my situation and the work I needed done. He was very efficient and also took time questioning me about the setup for my entertainment center and in offering ideas and suggestions that would help me achieve a better, easier to use/operate setup of the wiring and cabling for my TV mount and surround sound. We spoke on a Friday and he had me scheduled in for the job on the following Monday. I was thrilled that he fit me in so quickly on his schedule. On the scheduled date of service, Jeff and Chris arrived to do the work needed. Mike was unable to attend due to working on a current job. He assured us his men were more than qualified for this job. While here, they were very professional, courteous, and friendly. They worked quickly, worked great as a team and even cleaned up and vacuumed dust, debris and dirt frequently between wirings. They took great care in not damaging surrounding walls or the fireplace mantle. The DirecTV technician showed up around the same time Cole Electric was here and Jeff and Chris took the time to work with the DirecTV technician so that he could install all the additional cabling needed in our living room so that I could keep my existing digital phone and internet in the living room on it's own filter, plus they installed a phone line just for my DirecTV so it can receive the additional features and services like "on demand". This made the DirectTV guys job a lot easier. Mike called once while his guys were here doing the job to check with me and to make sure everything was going smooth, that I was happy and even made sure to go over the setup again with me, making sure I didn't forget anything that was needed and to make sure his guys did the work I needed or might need in the future. After his team left, Mike called again and spoke with my husband. He confirmed the job done, wanted to know if we were satisfied and if everything is working properly. I can't express the care taken in this matter or how extremely pleased we are with their service, professionalism, efficiency and general attitude of Mike and his team of technicians (Jeff & Chris). This is a great bunch of guys and a great company to work with. If you need anything electrical, you can't go wrong here. Also, as a military family on a limited budget, Mike is very understanding of this and he charged a very fair price for a 2 hour job. Thanks Mike!

The folks from Cole Electric were punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. When I called initially and left a voicemail to obtain an estimate, Jeff called me back within a couple hours and said he could come by the following morning. He and his helper arrived right on time and gave a quick estimate, which was less than an other estimate that I received, so I told him to get started right away. I left them at my house and went to work and received a call a couple hours later where Jeff explained the short was not where I initially thought it was. He suggested laying a brand new wire to the street lamp for an additional $150, which fixed the short. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend Cole Electric.

Great. Electrician showed up exactly on time. I explained the various problems we were experiencing, showed him where everything was located and four hours later everything was in working order with the exception of a water pump. He called the contractor that installed it last year and that contractor will be coming over to see if the pump needs to be replaced. I couldn't have gotten better service.

Great. The serviceman returned my call, kept his appointment and charged as predicted.

They had done something with the heat pump unit when they left and it wasn't working. They asked me to go to the attic to find if there was a switch to flip and that made me angry, as I didn't want to go to the attic looking for it. They then placed an outlet in an awkward place next to the door and didn't even ask me. It was all done before we even knew that they were doing all the stuff. They were very polite people, but we were not particularly pleased with their work. The outlet was $150. I probably wouldn't use their services in the future.

They had to come out twice. The price for the second time was ridiculous. They really didn't need to spend that much time. They charged way too much for travel. The first time they came out they were pretty good because they were able to resolve the issues pretty quickly. That is why we called them again. The second time we were not impressed and I don't think we will use them again. Their responsiveness was pretty good.

The electrician arrived on time, was very friendly and knowledgable, Did a great job.

Jeff with Cole Electric was wonderful. He and his partner showed up on-time for both the estimate and the actual appointment to complete all the work. They did everything "soup to nuts" for us, from replacing ceiling fans to wiring and installing recessed lights in our den. They cleaned up after themselves and I didn't notice any dust or similar "aftermath" even though some of the work required that they drill into our ceilings/walls. For the chandelier, I initially wanted it at one height; after Jeff installed it, I changed my mind. Jeff graciously reinstalled the light without uttering a complaint. They completed their work 5 months ago and we've had no issues with our lights since then. Their work is high quality and I would call them again without hesitation.

WENT VERY WELL. THE STAFF WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, AND CALLED IN ANOTHER PERSON TO COMPLETE ON TIME. MY HOUSE IS 1920'S AND THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING UNFORESEEN WHEN WORKING ON ANY PROJECT. THE PRICE WAS FAIR. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

Excellent service and workmanship. I have had no electricity in one half of my garage which includes 5 recepticals. All wiring and recepticals were checked on the first day of service. It was determined that I needed to have that half rewired due to a problem behind the garage wall. We decided to kill the old circuit and rewire a new circuit from breaker box to the dead recepticals. Everything that was promised was executed well. Jeff Brickhouse was the technician. He was neat, polite, and his professionalism will continue to keep this company in high regard.

I called them because of their quick response record on this list. I called their number and left a message, they said I could call their cell phone, but my problem wasn't a super emergency so I just left the message. Well, they called back later that night appolizing for just getting in and we arranged for them to come out the next day after they finished their current job, they would call 30 minutes before, if that worked for me, which did, so that is way happened, Jeff came in, very professional, listened to my problem, tested the breakers and determined one set had burned out, got one from his truck, replaced it and the stove worked wonderfully. It was $130 which is parts and labor, I guess thats the going rate, I'm not sure. But I was very satisified

I had a doorbell that was shorting and causing a burning smell. I called Cole Electric and someone got back to me within an hour. Mike Cole said that someone would be out as soon as possible. Jeff called when he was on his way and the whole thing was finished and settled before noon. Jeff traced the short and installed a new doorbell where there hadn't been one for years. It took a ridiculous amount of searching to find the original wires for the bell and Jeff was patient and thorough enough to complete the job. Very professional!

On my voicemail message, I indicated I got their name and contact information from Angie's List.

After explaining my issue to several contractors, I realized that I would have to pay to have someone come to my home to diagnose the issue. Also, no one could tell me exactly how much this diagnosis would cost. I chose to have Cole Electric come to my home as they were so highly rated on Angie's List. The electrician assigned to my job gave me a call about a half hour before he arrived. He arrived in the time frame that Cole Electric had given me. When the electrician arrived, he introduced himself and the helper who had come with him. These gentlemen were VERY respectful of my home. Without my even asking, they removed their shoes when first entering my home and every other time they entered as well as they got various tools and supplies from their truck. Also, these men were both very polite at all times. The electrician went through a sequential, logical process to determine what had happened with the fan and lights. First he looked at the wiring in the control plate(he called it a remote). We were getting full power there. Then, he borrowed our ladder to look at the power coming to the ceiling fan. Again, the electrician and helper were very careful when removing and returning the ladder to the garage. They didn't bump into any walls or anything else. The electrician determined that only half the necessary voltage was coming into the fan. Finally, the electrician went out to his truck to get a very long ladder to check the current coming into our ceiling fan at the ceiling. We were getting full power here. The electrician then concluded that the receiver in our fan, which receives information from the remote about how fast the fan should spin and bright the lights should be, had gone bad. We could either replace the motor which contained the receiver or get a whole new fan. The electrician was very good at explaining and giving me the technical language concerning everything he was doing, as this is very important to my husband. The electrician tried to get a cost for the motor by making a couple of phone calls to fan supply stores, but he was unable to get this information. I will need to follow up to do this. I will also shop for a new fan in case I decide to go this route. I did get a price from the electrician on what it would cost to install a new Casablanca fan.

My husband called Mike for original estimate. Mike showed up right on time, and was very friendly. We decided initially on another electrician due to price, but after reading the pages and pages of rave reviews of Mike's work on Angie's list, I felt more comfortable with Mike doing the work and had my husband give him a call back, to let him know that we were once again interested in him doing the work and I was interested in meeting with him as well. Mike didn't hold any grudges and he showed up promptly on a Saturday morning in heavy rain. We decided that he was who we wanted to do the job and he showed up promptly at 7:30 am on Monday morning with two vans and a whole crew of workers who worked diligently and paid close attention to detail. (They didn't use a drop cloth-but they did clean up spotlessly when they left). They worked all day on Monday and had previously scheduled a job for Tuesday so were not able to come back out till Wednesday. When they did come back on Wednesday they worked just as hard as they had on Monday, and stayed until 9 pm when they had finished. Everything looked great and if there was every any question regarding placement or anything else Mike made sure he obtained either mine or my husband's approval. They worked quietly and my 6 month old was able to take his daytime naps with no problem and they were not in the least bit bothered by my dog (half German Sheppard and half Lab) following behind them checking on their work. My husband is VERY picky and they never got frustrated with him or told him no, but always worked to accommodate his every request no matter how outlandish. Mike even referred a painter to me who repaired the holes and painted the walls beautifully. THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST!!!! Angie's list is a great service. Mike's price was not the lowest and not the highest but somewhere in the middle. He is courteous, friendly, and does a SUPERB, QUALITY job. I have so many friends who are having work done on their homes and are disappointed with the work that they had done but I am SOOOOO PLEASED! Thanks Mike and if you read this we will be calling you again and again and again in the future! We will also ask Mike for recommendations for others like a carpenter because his referrals perform the same high quality work. THANKS MIKE AND CREW!

Mike Cole and a few of his employees showed up exactly on time and went right to work. They had me explain all the problems and then went to work inspecting the situation. Regarding the flickering lights issue, rather than spending extra time (and my money) on searching for a root cause, other than what they suspected was probably just loose connections in the electrical box, they tightened up the loose connections, and I'll see if that fixed the problem. If it didn't, I'll bring them back to take the next step. I was very pleased with their service and attitude.

We called Cole on a Friday morning and they came over that afternoon! They quickly repaired/replaced the faulty outlet, and we also had them look at some outdoor lights that hadn't worked for YEARS -- and they quickly fixed those as well. We are very pleased and will definitely call them for any electrical needs in the future, as well as recommend them to friends! Great customer service!

Jeff worked very efficiently and did a great job, particularly on the wiring and installation of the ceiling fan. He was pleasant and cleaned up all work areas. Cole Electric even made a Saturday appointment, so I didn't have to take anytime off work.

He is very responsive and is very dependable. He cleans up well when he's finished with the work. The estimates that he provides to us stay in line with the final bill. I get exactly what I pay for with him. We will continue to use him for future service.

Mike came out to give the estimate and was friendly and took plenty of time to answer my questions. We scheduled the work within the next week. They showed up right on time, did a great job, and left everything clean; they even took away the box for the fan that I had provided. I am very pleased with the work and will call them again for any electrical needs.

We had just moved into our new home, and I called Mike Cole based on Angie's List recommendations. When I explained that I couldn't do laundry in the new house and we have an 18-month old who creates a lot of laundry, he sent one of his guys out within 3 hours! Very impressed . . .

Mike Cole & assistant arrived on time. Mr. Cole took the time to explain everything & check for wiring to the shed (which I guessed had electricity in the past because there were two light fixtures/bulbs - but previous owner must have acquired a used shed). Work was done quickly, neatly, looks & works great. Installation of ceiling fan required very minimal wall intrusion. Mr. Cole also reassured me that the wiring in my house was safe & adequate when he examined my circuit breaker box. (Since buying this house a few months ago, I have no confidence that the previous owner didn't cut corners in home maintenance.) Both Mr. Cole & his assistant were friendly, polite, hardworking, and knowledgeable.

Mike and company did a great job helping me upgrade and solve lots of electrical issues in my home. Mike was very helpful, giving good advice on the location of new outlets, etc. They were on time, worked hard, cleaned up after the job, and were pleasant the whole time, putting up with my many questions, etc. They checked carefully that all the new outlets they had installed were working properly and made sure I had no questions before they left.

He arrived on time as scheduled and I feel the work was done quickly with the site cleaned upon completion.
