I called Absolute at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, and two super nice repairmen were at our house by noon! They were so friendly, polite and professional. Very courteous. They checked out the clogged pipes down in our basement, which it turns out were just gunked up old cast iron pipes. Jerry and his colleague replaced them with PVC pipes on the spot and the drain works so well now!!!! They were fast and efficient, and they even stuck around while we did a test run of the washing machine to make sure everything was working properly. They were so very nice, did a great job, and we will definitely call them again!!!

Good experience - They were able to show me the problem, troubleshoot it and then fix it all in one visit.

I called Absolute Plumbing and had an appointment for two days later. They said they would arrive between 1 and 5 p.m. and that they would call me 30 minutes before they would arrive at my house. At 2 p.m. they called me as promised and arrived just before 2:30 p.m. They completed their job and were gone by 3 p.m. Both of the gentlemen were polite and very professional. Using the $99 coupon I had a zero balance when they were ready to leave and my kitchen faucet is like new. The replaced a complete interior kit that I don't understand but they did the job and I am happy with it. I definitely would call them again and already have plans for some other work for them. The team from Absolute was very professional. My husband and I had NO CLUE who to contact for plumbing services, since we were only in the Richmond area for two days when we needed help with a water leak in our new home. Our realtor reached out to a friend who recommended this company, and it was a very positive experience. Jerry (the supervisor), came out on a call yesterday. They repaired the leak immediately, but needed to return today to work on gas line (special equipment). They were very professional and did an excellent job.

I was greeted on time by the two plumbers who did an evaluation of my situation. They explained to me what they were going to do and about how long it would take them to do it. They had to run a piece of pex pipe from my sink's plumbing over the ceiling to the refrigerator was going. It took them several attempts to fish the plumbing line but they were able to do it. Once everything was in place, they connected it all up to determine if it was working. The gentleman were very nice and cordial. The process was very smooth and easy. I would definitely hire them again in the future to do work.

It was fantastic. Two guys came in, they were here at the early part of our appointment window. They were very fast, in and out in less than 20 minutes. And now our shower is hot so we won't have to shower down the hall in our son's bathroom! They were both very nice and very polite. We have had our pipes backing up into the downstairs bathroom twice in the past couple of months. We called Absolute to do the work due to their price, good reviews, and great customer service. They came out when they said they would. They also worked with Hanover County so they'd be here when the work was done. We needed to find the connector so that we could determine who was responsible for the work. Unfortunately we were but the guys at Absolute Plumbing gave us a fair price and came in just under what we expected to pay and well in their given estimate. We had approximately 15 feet of really degraded ductile pipe replaced with PVC. The pipe had begun to thin and had holes in it from that and from the tree the previous owners had placed over the pipes. The roots had almost completed flattened one section of pipe! Once the connector was found (under the sidewalk!) and it was determined that we as the owners were responsible, the guys had to work done in less than 2 hours. Unfortunately, we hit a snafu with Hanover County and their inspector wasn't showing up until the next day. This was not Absolute Plumbing's fault, the country obviously knew the work was being done because I had 3 of their workers in my yard most of the morning. The workers waited around til about 3pm just in case the inspector showed up. Unfortunately, he didn't. So the guys filled in the massive hole that was my front yard as much as they could and then put up caution tape so no one would fall in. They moved the pieces of tree off my driveway and said they'd be back tomorrow. The next day the poor guy still had to wait more than an hour for the inspector to finally show up. No problems were found at all with the work. The hole was filled and they even swept up my neighbor's driveway we had borrowed and dirtied during the work. Replacement of the sidewalk was attempted. The entire section had been pulled up whole, it didn't crack or crumble. The guy tried for about 20 minutes to put it back in place but it just wasn't happening. Fast forward to today (4/24) when I get a certified letter from the Town of Ashland complaining about the sidewalk being "damaged" and us not having a permit to do it. Well, of course it was damaged we pulled the whole thing up! But we did that with permission from 2 people at Hanover County. I talked with the Town and County while my husband called Jerry at Absolute. He assured us that we weren't responsible, we were only doing what the County had told us to do. Thankfully Hanover talked with the Town and I received phone calls from all parties assuring us we and Absolute were not at fault or liable for the sidewalk. Hopefully I don't ever need them again but if I do Absolute Plumping will be my go-to company for work.

They came the same day I called them and fixed a plugged drain. In addition, he repaired a leaky faucet while he was here even though that was not requested until he arrived. Would definitely recommend to friends.

I called them after consulting Angie's List. I told them I had found water on the wood floor around the toilet but couldn't find a leak. They arranged to come on on Wednesday. Much to my surprise, they came out a day earlier on Tuesday! The repairman looked at the toilet and said it needed to be replaced. He had one on the truck and he installed it, taking the time to answer my questions and setting it just right in place. He cleaned up his area and left everything neat and clean.

Jerry and Jacob did excellent work on all items mentioned above.

My kitchen was renovated about 2 years ago, which included a new sink and new plumbing (this was not done by Absolute Plumbing &Mechanical). Apparently, the installation of the trap under the sink was "cross threaded," which resulted in the pipes separating. After researching Angies list, I called Absolute Plumbing & Mechanical in the morning. I got a "live person" on the phone, she promised me someone would be there between 12 and 3 p.m. that afternoon and he would call 30 minutes before arrival, which was exactly what happened. The plumber was great...had to install the pipe three different times because of the way it was originally installed. The plumber was friendly, efficient, and tested the work before he left. One week later, the trap is still intact. I will definitely use this company as my plumber for future repairs. I used the 10% discount available from Angies list.

I was happy with the response time ( between 1-4 PM ) 3:45 he arrived . He gave me a quote , and did they work clean fast , and returned after a clog was found and cleared it I would use them again, and would recommend them

They were very responsive when I called, and showed up when they said they would. We talked through options on the first visit, at no cost to me. They seemed to be pushing the more expensive option (tank less water heater), but I never got the estimates from them before my unit went out and I had to make a decision. But in the end they got the job done within the same day my old one went out, and got it done in 2 hours.

I called and left a message. The call was returned promptly and told them I needed to have a gas water heater installed which I already purchased. We set up an appointment for the next day. They called back about 50 minutes before our scheduled appointment time and was asked if it was fine if they came early. They arrived about 30 minutes early. I showed them the water heater and told them I needed an outside spigot shutoff/vent valve replaced while doing the water heater. I had the valve for them also. Although the valve was first installed backwards they quickly changed its orientation and corrected the problem. The water heater was done correctly. They had to get a gas flex line and informed me that they were leaving to get parts. Upon return they quickly finished the heater. After filling the heater with water, they lighted it off. They proceeded to clean up their work area (including the old heater) and presented me with the bill that included the Angies discount that they offer.

Excellant. Jerry came out the afternoon after the morning that I called and gave an estimate. As we talked he gave me good advice concerning other parts of the overall job such as the carpenter work (which Absolute does not do) that was needed for rotted joists from the water of the leaking drain. His workers who came out were friendly and did a great job in a timely manner. I would certainly use them again.

I rang late on a Thursday, and the call was answered by a friendly voice, who quickly asked the right questions and setup an appointment for the very next day. The plumber called ahead, arrived within the allotted timeframe, and performed the repair quickly and cleanly. And the price was great.

Overall excellent work and we will use them the next time we have a plumbing requirement! We had a 17kw GENEMAC generator installed. Due to conflicting information we did not realize that the electrical company installing the generator nor the gas company would be hooking up the gas connection. I called Absolute on the day of the installation and spoke to Jerry who said they would be out that afternoon. They came shortly after the electrical company completed the install and as were in no rush to complete the work we scheduled a date the following week. Jerry and his assistant arrived on time, did the work, then Jerry came back the following day for the county inspection of the work. As we waited on the presure test I spoke to the inspector. He mentioned he has reviewed work with Absolute in the past and it has always been good and per regulations/requirements. I have nothing but praise for their professionalism, work performance and timeliness. Additionally the final cost was at little less than the original estimate...which made me happy!

We received a prompt call and estimate that was fair and reasonable. An appointment was scheduled and work started promptly. There was no hassle or inconvenience. The job was completed in 2 days and to our satisfaction.

Very very poor professional appearance! Came into house with no tools or tool kit. Didn't even have a bucket for working on drain. I had to provide it. Most plumbers I have dealt with might come in to see what needs to be done but then returns with a tool kit with most everything manual they would normally use. They would at least have their own bucket. Assitant kept going back to truck for every item needed including a rag. If I understood correctly, the assitant was the son of the owner. If that was the case then I would have thought he would be looking to take over the firm when his father retires. If I though any of my children presented themself to my customers in the way he presented himself I would really have to think about what I was doing with my business. Sorry, but my children have met most of my clients and I think my clients were always impressed at their presence with them.

Checked all plumbing in kitchen and bathrooms.

My tenant called, reporting waste water backup and a broken water heater. Absolute Plumbing came as soon as possible and discovered the sewage pipe was clogged. However, the outdoor access to the line was nowhere to be found, even the city could not find a record of it. After many hours of poking and digging the line was found, cleaned out and fixed. The water heater had to be upgraded to a larger size -something that we knew already- and moved to a better location. I was relieved to hear how fast the jobs were done, so my tenants can be comfortable again. Here is their comment: "The plumbing is working very well and showers are longer and hotter than ever! The guys from Absolute plumbers were friendly and professional... I would give them a good review."

Ok. Toilet is fixed but very pricey and very tardy.

They are very responisive and reasonalbly priced and very nice to work with.

After our first very good experience with this company, we decided to replace two badly-functioning toilets. Jerry recommended a great toilet made by Toto. It is three inches higher than the standard ones, making them easier to use and they function extremely well. We also needed to replace two igniters on our gas stove; these parts were difficult to find but the company found them for us and installed them, also no simple task. During every visit, Jerry and his assistants arrived on time, were very polite, efficient, capable, and cleaned up after themselves. We recommend them highly.
