No matter how desperate you feel, DO NOT hire this company. In my experience, they created more problems than they solved, they left a colossal mess behind, and they did not keep their commitments. I hired them to replace a pump at a shared well. The day after their work, the pipes from the well to the homes served by that well had no water pressure. Absolute Plumbing told me that one of the pipes must have had a leak, but since they didn't know how to determine which one, they needed to replace all the pipes between the well and several houses for $25,000. Hmm, so two days prior, the pipes were fine, but then after Absolute replaced the pump, all the pipes had to be replaced? Isn't it suspicious that the pipes worked fine until Absolute showed up? But I was desperate. My tenants could not live in their homes since there was no water, and I had moved them into hotels. I paid Absolute $25,000 for the project to replace the pipes. If they had performed average work, I would have no complaints. Instead, they recklessly maneuvered around my property, causing still more damage to the property infrastructure which they didn't fix, and they failed to answer simple questions about the work they did despite telling me they would do so. I asked for a diagram of the pipes they had installed, and they told me they would provide it. After literally 14 documented requests by email and phone with the owner Jerry and other employees telling me again and again they would provide it, I finally got a scribbled picture accompanied by the words, "If you have any questions, let me know." Since the diagram was so crude, I asked questions. "I will look into this and get back to you," I was told. I followed up seven times, but never heard a word from them again. I filed a complaint with the seemingly illegitimate BBB in hopes that the company would finish its conversation with me, but that process did not result in any further answers from this toxic company. And what did Absolute Plumbing leave me with at the property? 1. They cut septic lines with their equipment but buried these instead of reporting them. I only learned of these cuts when tenants reported septic issues, so it was harder to fix since I had to dig up the earth again. 2. They destroyed a french drain by a house even though the tenant had stood at the edge of the house to tell the person with the excavator, "There is a french drain here, so you need to dig this area by hand." 3. Most egregiously, they destroyed the pump house in multiple ways. For some reason they tore the siding off the wall and ripped down the insulation from between the studs on the side where the pipes exited the structure and they never put it back together, but worse, they hit the building with their excavator knocking its framing out of square. I had to pay about $3000 to another contractor to rebuild the pump house. 4. And of course, they left a pile of project garbage on the property. Jerry, the owner, told me the worker who was sent to my property was subsequently fired by Absolute for doing such bad work. But even though that worker is gone, Jerry is still there. Jerry as owner is responsible for the disaster that they caused me. He is responsible for resolving problems caused by his employees' work. You cannot count on him. His approach remains a risk to every potential customer. This company was my nightmare. I provided the above text to Jerry before sharing this review. I also gave him a photo of the pump house wall that was just studs with insulation on the ground. He didn't dispute the facts. He says he helped me the best he could, his team worked after hours on the project, and that the pump house was in bad condition to begin with (uh, so you pull the wall down and leave it that way?).

Excellent! Jerry, on the phone, knew exactly what had happened. Rick arrived a bit later and was absolutely awesome. Had the valve replaced, added shut off valves and did a great job cleaning up. I was very pleased and would hire them again.

I was charged for two hours of work when the technician was only at my home for one hour and thirteen minutes. I have cameras and videos to prove I am being truthful and the technician is being dishonest. I spoke with the Manager Jerry on Wednesday, September 26 and informed him of my concerns. He stated "it's an honest mistake the tech made in trying to do his own time instead of calling it in and that he would look at the invoice then make a decision to refund me money or not. I waited for him to call back but he didn't so I called a few days later and his secretary stated he was out and she would give him the message. He never called. I even messaged the company and they still refuse to do the right thing. Their markup on parts is ridiculous!

It went excellent. My husband has not stopped bragging to everyone that will listen. He was very impressed at the work Rick did. Rick was very knowledgeable, handled the problem with the least amount of mess and was very pleasant. We know who we will call the next time we need a plumber.

New valve replaced and leak stopped. Warranted Moen part ordered but did not fit new cartridge, so we ordered new Moen faucet (newer model) and plumber returned to install when new faucet received via FEDEX from Moen. Had to pay for second service call due new product being shipped two days later.

My pipes burst! I had another plumbing company come out and quote me almost 5k to resolve my issue. Rick was excellent, he called me before arriving, talked with my partner at home as I was at work still. Once I arrived the issue was almost resolved, we went over what work he performed and came up with a game plan. I have water again, he capped off the bad section, and recommended that I replace the pipes after the frost was no longer an issue. I was pleasantly surprised at my bill for services rendered today, under $500. He also ball parked the other services that we will be performing come Spring which will be under $2,000. I am so pleased! Yesterday after getting the figure of close to 5 grand I had my first migraine in years - today you can't stop the smile on my face!

Absolute Plumbing and Mechanical (Midlothian)? Absolutely NOT! With taking 4 months to install a half bath; making and leaving a mess of house, outbuilding and yard; using inferior materials; poor communications and attitude, why would you use this provider? While the owner claims all workers are “master plumbers”, why then would we have to correct them for installing a round seat on an oval toilet, using shark connectors under the house so that 2 spraying flowing leaks flooded the crawl space, using black clamps on a visible section of white pipe and disabling outdoor faucet by cutting the supply line and leaving it inoperable? If it wouldn’t give me yet another pain in my head, I could continue to list the negatives related to our interaction with this provider. Suffice it to say that it took several other contractors to repair the walls left unfinished, reconnect the dehumidifier that was left after being damaged under the house, replace the siding stained by purple(!) marks near plumbing work and haul away trash left inside and out. The price quoted originally seemed reasonable for the work needed, but we could have had a more professional, albeit higher priced, plumber do the job properly and promptly and not have spent what this shoddy job ended up costing. Buyer beware!

The toilet was not originally installed properly. Now it is cracked.

After snaking the pipe with two different machines, it was determined that the pipe is closed or obstructed due to roots.

They did just fine. They were very helpful about information on what it would cost to do various things. They did a good job. They told us about where certain things ought to be placed, like water filers, all kinds of helpful information. I would use them again.

Jerry sent a team out that next day and lifted up the pump off the bottom of the well, and took measurement for a replacement cap for the shallow well. They where very responsive to our out of water state and fixed it quickly.

We had a bathtub leak. Their recommendation was we remove the door and replace it with a shower curtain. They went over two minutes and charged us and additional $65. I would never use them.

Excellent! The shower head was great and my sister had a hand held unit while visiting.

The work done was good. The plumbers were unprofessional. I also had them look at a drip in my shower and they wanted to charge over $1,300. I will never use them again for that. Buyers need to beware of these guys. Never use them.

I had a horrible experience with Absolute Plumbing. I purchased a home several months ago that had Polybutylene pipes (that are supposed to leak). Absolute was supposed to replace all plumbing in the home before closing. When I had my home inspector come back to reinspect the house, the upstairs sink was leaking. We called Absolute to come and fix it. They said they fixed it, and I proceeded through closing. After closing, the same thing happened two other times, and I called Absolute to come fix the leaky sink. So ultimately, it took them three attempts to fix the leaky sink. Later, I was replacing the bath hardware in the upstairs bathroom, and I found out that they had not replaced all of the Poly piping in the house. Rather than fixing this like I felt they should, they charged me approximately $400 to fix that, doing extensive drywall damage in the process, which I had to pay someone else to fix. They also broke the upstairs sink to the point it leaked worse than ever, which I had to pay someone else to fix, again. Also, during this process, they acted like I was an inconvenience to them, and I was left wondering if the extensive drywall damage and leaking sink was their attempt at "getting even" for me having them return to fix these issues. Later, I was replacing the washer and dryer, and when I moved the washer, I found extensive drywall damage and improperly installed pipes that I again had to pay someone else to fix. The work done by Absolute was not done to my standards or expectations, and I cannot recommend them under any circumstance. I will unfortunately have to find another plumber.

It went well, the plumber removed the toy and resealed the toilet.

Exceeded my expectations on all three visits.. The last visit today, a late Saturday afternoon, was last minute and they were here in 30 min. Took care of a pipe leaking in crawl space. I really expected him to turn off water and come back Monday- but he gladly repaired it.

They were very professional and excellent. They were also right on time for their appointment.

Techs explained everything. They were prompt, friendly and didn't leave a mess.

The guys were very nice and completed the job without issue. They only gave an 8% discount and not the 10% listed on Angie's List and only for parts. As for parts, they charged $71 for a shutoff valve and vinyl hose. I could have purchased these items at a home improvement store for over half the cost.

Absolute was able to accommodate us into their schedule at short notice, which I very much appreciated. Rick and Brent from Absolute arrived on time and called to let me know in advance when they were on their way. They were extremely friendly and went the extra mile with help and advice for the future. They earned my trust and any future business that arises!
