Very good service and very professional service. Called ahead time before arriving and cleaned up work area before leaving. Made sure we were satisfied and reviewed work before leaving.

They cut the floor and fixed the pipe and also fixed the toilet in the room.

I was very pleased with the service. I called and received estimates from a couple of plumbers but I felt Absolute was the most honest and upfront about their prices. The service technician Rick was very professional and courteous. They were efficient in their work (no smoke breaks or delays). He informed us of future problems but didn't pressure us into doing more repairs, only made suggestions.

An ice maker line had previously been removed, but apparently it was not capped properly. Daniel and Shawn came out and did a temporary repair, since we did not know where to shut off the water to the house. After the county came and uncovered the water meter, Daniel and Shawn returned this morning to fix the issue permanently. I paid $173.00 for their initial visit but do not yet know what I'll be charged for this morning's half-hour of work. Absolute Plumbing is the only company I will use from now on -- they have been so accommodating and helpful! :-)

VERY POOR!!!, made appointment for estimate. I told the mechanic (plumber) i needed estimate. He informed me that estimate was not free unless they were to do the work. I told him I chose them based on Angie's List info and that their info noted free estimate. I never received any estimate. Was billed shortly after. I called the company spoke to the supervisor, he said that work had been done. NOTHING WAS DONE! I was not about to have any work done prior to insurance adjusters inspection. recently received a collection letter. FOR WHAT?? You be the judge money hungry and cannot trust. I cannot imagine if the had done work what they would try to pull!!!

Our 17 year old water heater died three days before Labor Day weekend. We found Absolute Plumbing & Mechanical here on Angie's List and called them immediately. Within two days, we had a new water heater. They were extremely responsive, professional and courteous. They scheduled the appointment to replace the water heater and called 30 minutes prior to arriving. The technicians were on time, very nice and professional and explained what they were going to do. Once completed, they spent time making sure both my husband and I understood the functions of the new water heater and asked several times if we had any questions. They also offered for us to call any time if we had additional questions. They are a local company and offered very competitive pricing compared to other larger companies. We would highly recommend them for any plumbing or mechanical needs.

I called Absolute as soon as they opened after noticing a leaking pipe below my house (I have an older house so I have to go into the crawlspace to change my air filter, as the AC was added decades later). Anyway, the administrative assistant initially asked if she could schedule me for the next day, but I told her I wouldn't be able to be home. She said she would try to work me in. I got a call about 2 hours later saying the technician was on his way. He fixed the problem in less than 45 minutes and was on his way. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, and even made a recommendation for a valve that could be replaced in the future. The price was extremely fair for the work that was done. I am very impressed by this company and they will be my go-to for plumbing in the future.

I had called around to get a price for the job from several companies. Absolute's price was very competitive and Jerry explained why the water heater they would be installing was of better quality than other brands. Best of all, they came out and replaced my leaking water heater that same day.

They arrived on time, went straight to work. They were knowledgeable and professional. Over all they did a great job. If needed I will use them again and would recommend them to all.

Absolute Plumbing did a great job replacing our water heater. I called and was able to get same-day service, which I really appreciate, since being without hot water means no showers, no laundry, no dishwasher, etc. They gave me a five-hour (12-5) range of arrival time, but they called at 12:30 and were here by 1:00. They assessed the old water heater, started draining it, and went to get the new one. Start to finish took about three hours, and we had our water back before the afternoon was out. Both men were professional, polite, and took the time to explain what they were doing. Will definitely use them again!

Awesome experience. Absolute had a plumber out to my house within just a few hours of my phone call. Even though a broken garbage disposal and leaking faucet aren't exactly emergencies, Absolute treated our request as an important and urgent matter. Excellent customer service, excellent quality of work, and a price so low I thought it was a mistake. Without hesitation I give Absolute Plumbing my highest recommendation.

We found Absolute Plumbing & Mechanical on Angie's List after reading the rave reviews. We're so glad we did! Our water heater stopped working on a Saturday morning. We called Absolute Plumbing and within two hours, a technician was here and made the necessary repairs, even on a Saturday! They were incredibly professional, courteous and price was good. We'll certainly use them for future plumbing needs and will recommend them to friends and family.

We purchased a promotion to have a new 50 gallon gas water heater installed through Angie's List. I was very satisfied with Absolute Plumbing. Jerry seemed very interested in answering all my questions and helping me understand what he was doing and how the water heater worked.

Call with emergency request. Had technician advise me what to do until they arrived. Hot water heater installed with 2 hours after calling. Excellent receptionist and technician. They were only company on Angie's that offer to have technician call and commit on installation immediately.

Unbelievably professional, friendly and courteous. We called the Saturday before Easter, expecting to hear that we would need to wait until Monday or pay a ridiculously high fee because it was a holiday weekend. Instead, they arrived within the hour, quickly assessed the problem AND gave us a discount on the bill (we mentioned Angie's List). About an hour later, we were back to normal. Really, really impressed with this team. Would highly recommend calling them for your plumbing needs.

a straightforward plumbing job

I was so pleased with Absolute Plumbing. We noticed that our water heater was leaking / flooding our hardwood at midnight on a Friday night. I panicked and started calling emergency numbers from plumbers on Angie's List. Absolute returned my call within 15 minutes - very quick compared to others! They gave quick instructions on how to make sure that the water was completely off to prevent further flooding. They came out the next morning. We didn't end up needing a new heater. The people who installed the heater used the wrong materials and they melted. The plumbers that came out went and got the new materials for us and did a great job. They were knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. A great experience considering very annoying circumstances!

I purchased a deal through Angie's List to replace my current water heater which at the time was over 15 years old. This deal while not discounted came with a 10-YEAR manufacturer's WARRANTY. I called immediately to have it installed and a service technician and assistant came on Nov 5th to install. I was a little surprised that they did not have the new water heater with them, but left once they started draining the old tank, to secure the new water heater. Once it was installed, I went over the Deal with the technician to make sure that I had received everything included in the deal. He explained that I did not need a new metal pan because I had a floor drain (made sense) and that the complimentary plumbing inspection was not the whole house, just the water heater area. He also explained that the 10 year warranty was through the manufacturer and the one year warranty on labor was through Absolute. I was pleased with my service and confident I had found a new plumber for life. I did not submit the warranty card right away to the manufacturer so I decided to do it online. I was surprised to find that while State has a water heater with a 10 year warranty, I had received a model with a 6 year warranty. If I had not gone online, I would never have known this. I would not have purchased a deal for a 6 year warranty. . I called Absolute on Nov 16th to ask about this and the receptionist Tabitha seemed skeptical that I was telling the truth but said she would have the office manager Tammy get back with me. Tammy returned my call and assured me that the ad did not state 10 year warranty and asked me to forward her a copy of the ad from Angie's List, which I did. I never heard back from her even though she said she would call me after reviewing the ad. On the 17th, I contacted Angie's List and heard back from Scott Downs, a supervisor with the ecommerce Support Team who said he had spoken with the company and asked them to call me re a refund or suggested I could call them. I called Absolute twice with no results. Scott then suggested that I contact the manufacturer to see if I could get an extended warranty, which Angie's List would pay for. I then contacted a State(manufacturer) customer service representative, and he gave me the name of 2 distributors in the Richmond area who could provide me with information regarding the cost of an extended warranty. Since Ferguson's was the closest to my home, I called them and spoke to Chad. (The distributor who actually sold my unit was VAMAC on Speeks Rd.) Chad contacted State and located two of the extended warranty kits in Fredericksburg. The extended warranty actually involved the addition of an extra anode in the new water heater. Chad provided me with a quote which I forwarded to Scott at Angie's List. By now I was wondering why I even joined Angie's List. Angie's List refunded me $154.90 to cover the upgrade fee. The additional anode kit arrived and I picked it up at Ferguson's on 12/9. I waited until after Christmas to contact Absolute to install it. Once again the officer manager did not commit to installing the extended warranty kit, asked me to resend the ad and the Angie's List coupon number which I did. I asked her to notify me when she had received it. She never notified me or contacted me in the last two months. The staff at Ferguson's spoke very highly of Jerry, the owner of Absolute and felt certain, after hearing my story, that he would want to make this right, but he has never contacted me even though I have asked to speak with him several times. I noticed that the ad for the deal I purchased remained on Angie's List for a while but noted that it was unavailable. Then the ad was removed.

Technicians were very professional and personable. They were able to correctly diagnose and resolve a clog deep in the house. It was not easy to figure this one out, but the lead technician followed all the appropriate steps to find and remove the clog. He was methodical and not in a rush. He also provided recommendations for preventing such clogs in the future.

Went well. I am not commenting on the price, because I did not spend a lot of time shopping around once I saw the coupon offer and read previous AngiesList reviews of the provider. I understand the toilet they provided is good quality for a "basic" toilet, and the cost to install it, and dispose of the old toilet, seemed reasonable to me. The plumbers were prompt, courteous, and professional. With or without an AngiesList coupon, I expect to do business with these folks next time I have a need for a plumber.

The guys were great. Showed up within the time frame quoted, got the work done quickly and did a great job. They were very attentive to the small details and were quick to point out issues where they felt my input might be required.

After providing an estimate for materials and labor, the service tech went out to purchase supplies. Parts for both toilets had been quoted at $75. Labor was $300 for both toilets. Since I'd told them this was a toilet rebuild job, and I'd given them the toilet model number when I called, I didn't understand why the rebuild kit hadn't been purchased in advance. The service tech said he needed to see the toilet first. He and his helper returned and completed the job in the half bath, but still pressed me to have the second toilet rebuilt. I declined again, citing budget reasons. My bill for rebuilding the one toilet ended up being the same as was quoted to rebuild both toilets. When I asked about it, I was told by the service tech that I'd need to contact the office with my concerns. I called on two occasions and never heard back. If they left me a message, I'm not aware. I'd used this company two or three times previously, and was extremely happy with the quality of their work. I felt their prices were fair, even if a bit high. On this visit, the work they did was fine -- the toilet is still working properly months later, and it's the most frequently used in our home -- but the billing situation remains suspect. In the past, Jerry, the owner had handled my jobs. The service tech sent this time said Jerry was doing less field work and focusing more on office duties. I have no complaints about the quality of the work , but do feel I was misled about the costs. Very disappointing, especially since I never received a call from the office to discuss the matter.

I first contacted Absolute Plumbing to run a gas line for a new gas stove. I received 3 quotes and not only were they the least expensive they were also the only ones that specified they woudl use black iron. While they were at my home I also needed other work done which they were able to fit into their schedule. 3 projects later they were still less expensive than 1 quote I was given from another company just to do the gas line run. I would use them again in a heart beat.

We called the emergency line and they paged the plumber on call. He called back quickly to get details and called again to let us know he was on his way. He did a quick and efficient job of fixing the pipe. He did a great job. We could not wait to have them come Foucault and do an estimate on the rest of the house's plumbing.

Day 1: they were great. Fast and efficient. It appears that the faucet that they installed in February didn't come with one ?. Day 2: we (my husband) was trying to replace a water shut off valve in our children's bathroom and it broke. We discovered that not only did that valve need to be replaced but the main water valve to our house needed to be replaced, too! Luckily that broke while they were here so there was no water damage! (Woohoo!) when I called Absolute in the morning, they came with in 30 minutes so we could get our water back on! Everyone that came was nice, respectful, helpful and it was a lot cheaper than we thought it would be!
