Nice guy; good work. Pulled up the tiles, cleaned sub flooring, replaced tiles and regrouted around tile. Very good clean up and warned me there would be some dust generated. He wasn't satisfied until I was.

Great job. Knew I didn't want to redo the whole floor and just did what he could to make it better.

Custom Bath of Virginia is the best!!! Our bathroom was tiled with a hideous avocado green from the 70?s. After looking at it for 10 years, we decided it was time to do something about it. I didn?t want to spend a ton of money. I looked at resurfacing the tiles, but I learned that resurfacing isn?t always the most durable solution,especially for the floor. I had no idea what it would cost so I called some different places to get some ballpark estimates. After speaking with several different companies, I was starting to think that the project was not within our budget. Then I spoke with Customer Bath of Virginia. They convinced me to let them come over and give us an estimate. They provided a time that was convenient and their representative, Jody, showed up right on time. We hadn?t decided what we wanted to do with the bathroom, but we knew that we didn?t want the tiles we had. Jody was very personable and he provided some excellent suggestions about what type of tiles we might want to use and where to get them (we just picked out the tiles and Custom Bath handled the rest). The estimate process was very low pressure. He left us an estimate and told us to give him a call if we were interested. The installers at Custom Bath are experienced and they are very conscientious. Removing the old tiles is a tedious, messy job. They took great care to do it properly and to minimize the mess. They always cleaned up after themselves and they kept us apprised about when they would be working. They suggested that if we wanted to replace the toilet, this would be a good time. My wife jumped on that idea. The bathroom they did is absolutely gorgeous and we are thrilled! The folks at Custom Bath are real craftsmen. I could see that the bathroom was beautiful, but then my wife pointed out to me that all of the tiles were perfectly aligned. When I looked more closely, I could see that she was right. It is truly impressive. These guys that really care about their work and all of the suggestions they offered were spot-on. The bathroom could not have turned out any better. And the price was so reasonable that we are now planning to replace the tile in a different bathroom. We will definitely be using Custom Bath of VA for our next project. The contractor allowed us to use the $99.00 towards the price of the replacing the floor even though this was not the original agreement. We selected the replacement tile. The contractor was professional and did most of the work himself with one helper. The contractor came in and did a great job.

I couldn't ask for better communication, service, etc. Custom Bath worked with me to accommodate my crazy schedule and very willingly rescheduled the install when another tile company messed up my order. The installation of the tub tile is exactly as I pictured it to be and the repairs to the kitchen tile and hall bath tile from previous remodeling work looks like it was done brand new!

This company is excellent! The work provided was meticulous and performed with a focus on quality. The service tech treated my home like it was his own. He took a sufficient amount of time to ensure all work was performed to the highest standards. I'm very pleased with the company and give them my highest recommendation.

Very prompt in getting here to do the estimate. Price was great. Started work right away. Very professional and polite. We are so pleased with the job. Would recommend to my best friends or family.

The job was meticulously done and looks great! Jody is professional and other than the new fixture, you wouldn't even know he was here...there was absolutely no mess to clean up, he is as neat as he is skilled. Would definitely hire again.

The job that I had was more than what this deal offered. The guy that came out was very knowledgeable and advised me well.

One person completed the work but it wasn’t as anticipated. I had thought they would really do the caulking work in the bathroom but it wasn’t a thorough job. I felt they were in a rush. Also, we needed to reschedule several times.

I can not believe how great my tub looks! I'm still in shock over how well it came out and how great the price was! I'm going to call him to do some more work for me as well. He was a little bit late but he explained the situation, which was out of his control, so I understood and it was ok.

The shower pan failed after 3 days of living in the house (built in 1969). Jody and his partner made all of the repairs (tile, faucet, shower shelf, glass door). The work was difficult in such a tight space. The shower was an old cement shower that had to be completely ripped out and new cement poured. The work took over 6 weeks because of insurance communication problems. Jody contacted our insurance and everything was covered except our deductible. While the master bedroom shower was under repair, the only other shower/tub had a leak in the valve. Jody came out immediately and repaired the valve. Even though the work took a long time, it was worth the wait. Jody is an honest and knowledgeable contractor. We would use him again.

Jody was very prompt responding to our call for assistance. We had a slow leak in shower area that appeared to be a faulty shower pan (Installed when house was built in 1961). Before demolishing the new tile floor in shower area, Jody recommended that we eliminate all other possibilities first. We agreed. There was some evidence of a leak in the pipes, so new pipes and controller valve had to be installed. There was still some water leaking, so he recommended we replace the shower pan also. He did that and everything seems to be okay now (knock on wood!). The entire process took nearly three weeks, but it also involved waiting for several days for the new tile floor and shower pan to be installed and dried properly. Jody was a huge help in getting our homeowners insurance company involved. They ended up paying for nearly half the total cost of the project. All things considered, we were very pleased with the work.

Jody is a first class contractor . I had a hard time finding someone who could do the entire job . Some places just did reglazing some just did plumbing . Jody does it all . He found the fixtures I wanted did some amazing things to even access my plumbing . The bath tub looks brand new . He was in constant contact with me the whole time making sure I was up to date as to what was going on with the project . Jody gave us all the options from repairing to replacement and tried everything he could to help us save money as we are on a budget. A+ all the way . I wouldn't use anyone else for my bathroom .

They were prompt, cheerful & courteous. They put down tarps and used an exhaust fan in the window to keep down dust and fumes. Cost of the repair was exactly what was estimated but a little expensive for 2.5 days of work and I provided the tile.

Jody did an excellent job. I will use him again for future projects.

I was so pleased with the initial grouting job and ask Jodi to replace the floor of a shower. It had been constructed with wall tile, was slippery and did not look good. Jodi did a wonderful job replacing the tile floor and the shower now looks great. I had damaged the tub drain using chemicals to clear the pipes. Now the tub looks so much better. Jodi was on time, professional, and di a very good clean up job. I highly recommend him and this company.

The initial job went well. When I cleaned the grout 24 hours later, I noticed a spot about the length of 1.5 tiles that had not been done and had a small hole in it. The was not obvious when looking at the tub area in a standing position. I spotted it when cleaning the next day. I call the company and he returned in a timely manner to correct the omission and was very apologetic. I was well pleased and plan to have him do work in the near future. I would highly recommend this company.

He was very efficient clean and neat. He was very nice and professional. He was on time and I would highly recommend him for bathtub and bathroom work. He was extremely knowledgeable with fiberglass as well.

I can't say enough good about Jody from Custom Bath of Virginia. He did a wonderful job. He arrived on time kept me apprised of the progress and cleaned up at the end of each day. Jody was meticulous about his work and paid a great attention to detail. I have already booked him for more work in another bathroom. I felt that his pricing was fair considering the time he spent working and the amount of materials involved.

I was very satisfied with the job. The technician called enroute and arrived at the agreed upon time and date. He was clean and courteous and knowledgeable. We discussed the nature and extent of the job I wanted performed, the means he would recommend to use to address the needed repairs, as well as what additional cost might be incurred if the job took longer than the Angie's list advertised "three hours" of service. We agreed on the approach he would use and he worked diligently to accomplish the mission. As he approached the end of the three hour "Angie's contract period" he made certain that I was aware of the status of the job and the approximate time required for completion. I ok'd the extension and he completed the job as we agreed using pro-rata hourly Angie's contract pricing. Upon completion he cleaned up the work site satisfactorily and discussed with me the amount of drying time the new grout should require prior to using the shower. I was very satisfied with the techncian's manner and work performed and plan to use him for other tile repair work in my home.
