After a Friday afternoon storm with 50mph winds blew off the siding on a bump up area on my roof. I called around to 10 or 11 different people - roofers, siding people, handymen, anyone to come out and put up a temporary tarp to cover the roof area where the damage occurred. Let me say that out of the 10 people I called, realizing it was a difficult time for many due to the fact that it was a busy afer-storm time, a weekend, etc. Steve is the only person that called me back. Steve was at my house at 715 am on Sunday, took photos of the damage, talked me through the process of getting things fixed, etc. Everything is handled electronically, signing the order to fix, etc. Very efficient! Steve's crew was here at 1030 a.m. putting up a temporary tarp to protect the roof. They called me at each turn, when they were coming out to do the work, letting me know when the siding was arriving, when they would finish the work, etc. Wow! Since this had the look of a great experience, I had Steve fix another problem with my roof that had no connection to the storm damage. I had had a quote from another roofing company to fix this poblem ( a leak because of missing flashing ) for $1800. Steve's guys did this repair for just under $500. My insurance adjuster was very pleased with the pictures that Steve provided, and she told me that his prices were excelent, and that I should feel very relieved to find an honest contractor. Her exact words were, "Don't worry about these prices, they are right on the mark. You are definitely not getting ripped off here." If your roof has to blow off, having these guys do the repair makes the whole process a lot less traumatic. I highly recommend Steve and Roofer911.

They came out and took photographs and printed up on the spot what they proposed to do. They also gave us a 6 month warranty on the work. He also matched the roof shingling with the existing shingles.

Mr. Briesemeister arrived when scheduled for an estimate. He appeared to make a thorough inspection of the roof and then provided a detailed proposal for repairs and an estimate. I accepted his proposal and he returned the next day to execute. Over three subsequent rains, we discovered that the repairs, if any were actually made, were ineffective. On two dates that he said he would come to make repairs, there was no one home and there was no evidence that he in fact showed up. I knew the roof was not repaired when it rained next. He would not call to confirm that he had been to the house or what work he had performed. After the 4th called he blamed the leak on defective shingles. A roofer that I've had come out to look at the roof since that time indicated that some of the possible repair attempts may have exacerbated the leak.

I was very happy with the competent job, quick service and the price.

I used the services provided by Mr. Steven Briesemeister of Improve Today VA, Inc for a very simple roof repair, which water was leaking into the house. He failed to show up or provide a courtesy phone call as scheduled. He apologized and showed up first thing the next day. He made the initial repair in less than 1 hour and charged me $350.00, and the roof continues to leak. I have called Mr. Briesemeister several times and he fails to return my calls. Mr. Briesemeister has misled me many times by saying he would come out to fix the problem. He again scheduled times to come and make the repair when I was home and failed to show up or call. He said his associate fixed the problem the next day (how convenient as I am not home) by replacing the flashing, which was not done. I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service/guarantee as he does not honor his work.
