Roofer 911

We have 2 dormer windows in our master bedroom, and our master bedroom is above our garage. With the rainy spring we had noticed some wet carpet in the bedroom around the cutouts of the dormer windows and some discoloration of the baseboards. About a week later we had a couple of torrential rain storms back to back in the same week. During these storms, on June 11 and12, we noticed water dripping from the ceiling in our garage and a lot of wet carpet in our master bedroom. On June 12 we called several roofers, including leaving a message with Roofer 911, but no one was available to give us an immediate estimate. I called Roofer 911 again at 8 in the morning on June 13 and talked to Steve. He came out that afternoon to evaluate the problem and give us an estimate. The thermal pictures he took and shared with us really showed the magnitude of the problem, and proved that it had certainly been going on longer than we thought. The pictures will also be extremely useful in our home owners insurance claim. Steve told us that he could have a crew out the next day, June 14, to complete the necessary roof repairs to stop the leak. All related paperwork was done electronically in a prompt fashion. On Saturday, June 14, the 2 workmen arrived on time and they were very courteous. After a quick tour of the damaged areas in the house, they went right to work. They replaced the flashing around the dormer windows. After they were finished they cleaned up after themselves very well. When I asked them about the repair they assured me that they found where the leak was happening, and were able to fix it properly so that we would not have any more water issues. We were impressed with how quickly this repair was made, and the efficiency of Roofer 911.

Contractor provided excellent and responsive service to help my refund get issued and next time I'll be smarter about where the providers can and cant perform services.

Steven, sent us a quote with all of the work that needed to be done within 30 minutes. The next day, his employees (German, Mario) came out to our home. We, were only supposed to get our existing gutter re-pitched. Steven, decided to remove the old gutter and install a new gutter to insure it was properly pitched so the water flow would flow out correctly through the drain. Steve and his crew are by far one of the most professional teams I have ever contracted with to perform work on my home. From the start to the finish of the project, everyone was professional, courteous and honest. The work was completed in less than 48 hours from the time of my initial phone call to Roofer911. I was notified consistently as to when work would start and when the crew ran late due to weather. I would recommend Roofer911 without hesitation.

Roof suffered from chronic water leaks in valleys. Roofer 911 used detection equipment to discover source of leans and effected repairs by removing roof shingles, installing a sealing water barrier and new shingles. After several significant rains, there is no evidence of the prior leaks.

Steve was immediately responsive and took care of it within 24 hours. Only time will tell, of course, but there has been much rain since he did the work, and it has not appeared to leak since the repair. My tenant is very happy, and so am I. His work was more than I expected, in that I thought I could just get a "handyman" and have them go up on the roof and repair flashing around the skylight and a few other places but he convinced me it was more intricate than that, and I trust what he said. I was very pleased with the solution to the problem, and would use him again. The $750 price was originally $850 but he credited me for $100 for placing this report, which I would not have done if he had not been good at what he does.

We originally contacted Roofer 911 because we knew we were missing shingles on our roof. I was so impressed with how quickly the owner returned my initial call and came out to provide an estimate the next day. He also told me that, if we decided to hire them for the work, they'd be able to complete the work the same day. Upon inspecting the roof for the estimate, Steven discovered that the rear gutter was not properly secured. He warned us that water was likely getting in between the siding and the drywall. He also said that, if this continued, we'd end up with mold inside the walls. Not good. We were so grateful that he picked up on this other problem area and brought it to our attention. An overall amazing experience. We'll definitely be contacting Roofer 911 for any future repairs needed to our roof.

Bought the infrared leak detector Angie's List Deal for $99 with a $50 credit towards work. Steve came on time to review the house for leaks on a Wednesday. Steven found all the leaks and sent an estimate for work the same day. Fast! We accepted the proposal after pouring rain came through the roof the next day and asked to see when we could get scheduled. Steve was quick to respond and schedule us the same week...just a few days after giving us the estimate. The crew came early and made repairs quickly and cleaned up afterward. The two crewmen also walked through the repairs with my husband to make sure we understood what repairs had been done and how it was fixed. My husband and I are very please with the responsiveness of the owner, quality of work, and price.

During the last storms a few weeks ago I had a small leak and had signed up for a Deal for Roofer 911 to perform an Infrared evaluation service to detect the source. This was scheduled for June 16. With the storms on Sunday, June 5, I had significant water volume coming into my master bedroom. I contacted Roofer911 first thing in the morning to see if they could come sooner. Steve responded to me within 20 minutes of my request, and was at my home within a few hours to perform the service. He performed the infrared evaluation, which was not only helpful in pinpointing some problems, but gave me detailed evidence of the presence of water in my ceilings and behind my walls. This will be very beneficial with the insurance company to ensure they cover the proper comprehensive repairs to ensure no potential mold issues, not just address the cosmetic drywall repairs. An added benefit of the infrared assessment, though not the primary reason for scheduling, is the ability to detect areas of inadequate insulation. We built our home and though fairly new, there are several opportunities to improve our energy efficiency with insulation. After the infrared evaluation, Steve provided a proposal for repair within 20 minutes by email. The review and acceptance process for the proposal very efficient. Once I accepted, his roofing team was at my home within 2 hours. The repairs were completed last night in time to have a water tight roof before the rain last night and predicted for this week. Steve and his roofing team were very knowledgeable, professional, responsive in a bad situation, and I am very grateful that I selected Roofer911. Their use of advanced infrared technology will also be very useful in dealing with insurance and reducing my energy costs. I highly recommend Roofer911 for their leak evaluation and repair services and would definitely use them again.

I received the estimate, and it was to be about $1300. Their website said that they do the estimates for free, but I paid for the estimate through this big deal. This does not make sense to me. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that he is offering this service for free on his website, and then charging on Angie's List. I did not have a good experience. I did end up calling the provider and he admitted that he did give free estimates in the past, but he stopped because people would find out the issue and fix it themselves. I understand this, however he still lists on Angie's List and his website that he offers free estimates. I feel that I have been very mislead.

After having water damage twice from two different storms, I decided we needed someone who knew what they were doing. I found Roofer 911 on Angie's List and knew immediately this was the way I wanted to go. I work in a technical field using various types of test equipment and when I discovered that Roofer 911 used infrared technology to help locate the leak, I looked no further. Steven was very knowledgeable and immediately felt he knew what our problem was. When he told me it was most likely the ridge vent I was surprised, since the leak was at the corner of the house in one of the bedrooms. He noted that many roofers do not properly seal the ridge vent during installation and during heavy rains the water can end up running under the unsealed edge, down the felt and to the first place it finds to leak. He used his infrared meter to confirm this, as I watched and looked at the meter as well. I definitely felt confident after seeing it with my own eyes and he went through the entire upstairs to check if there might be any other water issues. He then had his guy come out and remove 10' of the ridge vent at one end of the house that was leaking and properly seal the ridge vent and replaced it. A leaky roof is nothing to play around with and I would wholeheartedly recommend Steven and his company to handle any roof leak issues anyone may have.

Tried to retain this company's services after a strong thunderstorm caused water to leak into our house (apparently through the roof). Called on a Thursday afternoon, but never received a return call. Oh well. Read great things about this company and would have liked to talk to someone -- but the nature of the problem caused me to move on to the next recommendation.

Steve is extremely professional to deal with and takes pride in full customer satisfaction. He was on time and provided very detailed analysis of different problem areas with the roof - not just the shingles but the ridge vent attachments etc as well. Overall, I was very satisfied with the services offered, however, I need to monitor the roof for any more water leaks over the next few months to be absolutely sure that the leak has been fixed.

We had a substantial leak in the roof that came through the bathroom ceiling suddenly. Called Roofer911 and they were out the same afternoon. They used an IR leak detector to identify several small leaks. Further inspection found that the main problem was an attic fan cover that had blown off. They performed the repairs in less than a day. Starting a day after the repair, we had 12 inches of rain over 2 days, with no evidence of problems -- a thorough shakedown of the repair. The service given was very prompt and professional. The price seemed a little high, but given the service rendered and the timeliness of the response, we were happy to pay it.

I called Steve at 9 AM on a Saturday and he was at my house by 10:30 AM. He inspected the issue and I had a proposal in hand by Noon that day. His crews then arrived around 1 PM that day. His 2-man crew may have been there for 45 minutes and that was it. I thought it would take longer but as long as the issue is fixed all is fine by me. I paid $600 and this may have been a $200 job or a $1,000 job. I don't know as I didn't get a 2nd opinion but I do know though I woke up Saturday morning with an issue and it was repaired by 2 PM that day. There's a big value to that. If it doesn't leak anymore when rain comes again a job extremely well done. Steve and crew were very professional and I would recommend Roofer911 to anyone. Great job so far.

I've had a leak now for quite some time and it's been on my list of things to do and I procrastinated because I didn't want to get into the whole headache of looking for a contractor, pricing, scheduling, shoddy work, follow-up, etc. But I finally got fed up with the problem and selected Roofer911 from Angie's List. I'm glad I did. I was certain I knew where the leak was coming from, but with infra-red technology, Steve demonstrated where the water was coming from and to remedy the problem he recommended the precise and proper approach to chimney flashing. The most amazing part is that I called Roofer911 in the morning; Steve was on site to analyze the problem around noon; his crew was on site in the afternoon to fix the problem that same day - now that's service.

I just bought a new property that had raised a few red flags prior to closing. The roof is about ten years old, and all the issues that were found during the inspection, I was confident could be fixed without breaking the bank--and then came the rains. The painters removed a large piece of sheetrock in the master bedroom, that was saturated. Obviously caused from a leaky roof--and we were expecting more rain the rest of the week. Lee and his crew, came the same day and replaced the chimney flashing and the shingles, as well the area around the vents. In addition, the back gutter downspout was unclogged. Lee noticed that there was water sitting in the gutter in the front of the house, and noted that there was only one downspout and the angle was not high enough to allow the water to flow down to the spout. Steve instructed them to add an additional downspout to allow the water to drain and prevent and overflow and into the siding and consequently into the interior wall. I have been in the area for a few years but have dealt with plenty of contractors and service companies, and it was a pleasure dealing with Steve and Lee. They were attentive, responsive, and thought outside the box. There were no misunderstandings and I feel confident that no shortcuts were taken. I hope that I will not have an emergency again, but I plan to keep Roofer911 in my list of contractors to call for future service. Thank you Steve and Lee.

Steve came and did a through assessment using his infra-red diagnostic tool. he isolated the leak into the house at the flashing but continued to identify the source farther up the roof. He proposed to fix the roof and gutter to eliminate the problem. His team was at the house within an hour and did a great job. Everything in the proposal was accomplished. They incorporated the flashing into the chimney. They correctly installed the sealant, felt and shingles. They worked up the roof fixing nails, gaps and boards. They reset the gutter to eliminate a water pooling point up roof from the chimney area. They also inspected/repaired the roof above the gutter to eliminate any seepage. His guys were hard working and professional. Work was great and I'm waiting for the next heavy rain confident that I will not see a drop. Steve has guaranteed work. price was competitive for the roof area repaired. I suggest you contact Steve for any leak issue. review the diagnostic results and agree to the proposed solution to eliminate the problem at the source May 16th heavy rain came and not a drop appeared in the fireplace. This was a wonderful experience, especially compared to previous encounters with roofers. I called and spoke with Steven on Monday late afternoon, and he was able to have someone out by noon the following day!! AMAZING!! The employees were courteous, efficient, and kept me well informed. I will definitely use Roofer 911 anytime a roofing issue arises, this is the company to use.

I had a great experience with Roofer911. Steven came out the next day after I called him, and used the thermal imaging camera to locate spots in our drywall where moisture was present. He then gave a quick and confident diagnosis that our chimney flashing was the root cause of our problem. His quoted price was competitive, and the repair was made a two days later. I tried other roofers, but none were able to make a confident diagnosis because of the location of our leak - it was difficult to determine whether the chimney was at issue, the gable vent, the roof, or the flashing itself. So I was happy that Steven was able to confidently determine the cause of our leak. The only hiccup was a miscommunication about our initial appointment time (hence the "B"), but that was not a major issue for me. If I have any more roof problems, I will be calling Roofer911 again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a hard-to-diagnose leak. Follow-up: Our leak turned out to be trickier than originally anticipated, and involved work on our chimney itself. Steven stood by his original quote, and did the additional repair at no cost to us. If you have a hard-to-find repair, Roofer 911 is the place to call. I give them my highest rating and recommendation.

Call Steve! Don't think twice or search for other companies. The Roofer911 teams turn around time to fix the issues are unheard of and fast! Steve (the owner) personally came out to my house the very next day I called him!! I woke up after a rain storm to find water dripping from our air vent in our guest room. I was extremely worried since the weather forecast called for heavy rain for the next three days! I checked Angie's List for companies in the area only to hear I would be on an "unknown wait list," meaning I would be placed on a list and the service could only be provided when it was my turn in line. Another told me I would have to put down a $450 deposit and they couldn't get someone to my house for at least three weeks! Then I called Steve at Roofer911. I was shocked to hear he could be at my house later that afternoon! Since I was at work I scheduled the appointment for the following day. Responsiveness was excellent arriving within an hour to carry out the quote. Diagnosis was made using thermal imaging from inside the house identifying the underlying cause as an improperly fitted ridge vent. The work was completed the next morning as agreed. Price was initially quoted at $1,000 but considering the work was complete within 90 minutes the following morning by two skilled workers without any significant material cost, Steve, the owner arranged a refund of $250 bringing the price down to a fair level in my opinion of $750. This was excellent customer service. We've had no problems since the work was completed despite a couple of heavy rains. Overall - I would have no hesitation having Steve and his team work on our roof again.
