Estimator arrived within time frame. Estimate was done quickly and the repair process explained adequately. Cost estimate was emailed within 30 minutes of initial on-site examination. Recommended ridge vent to increase circulation in the attic and discourage condensation. Estimate included link to approve work and sign authorization to complete repairs and charge a credit card. Quick and easy. Work was completed the same day. As far as we know, the repair solved the leak problem. All repair materials were removed and the site cleaned up I rated the price Good, rather than Excellent, because I had not had time to research the issue and compare prices, which I normally would do before committing. I did not know anything about ridge vents before the estimator made the recommendation, so I briefly researched this issue online. It appears that ridge vents are an accepted and recommended way of increasing ventilation and decreasing condensation within the house. I decided to go forward with the work and trust that the firm had given me a reasonable price.

Steven arrived on time and was very polite and professional. I have a flat-roof on my townhouse and even though the deal I bought doesn't cover flat-roof inspections, he provided the service anyway. This is my first house so imagining all that can go wrong and the expense of it all was weighing on my mind, his service helped alleviate my fears that the roof on my 65 year old townhouse has multiple leaks (it doesn't), and saved me the trouble of having to have multiple roofers come out to inspect/provide estimates for repairs. He even caught a very minor gutter installation flaw that could contribute to future leakage if not corrected. In addition to this, he spoke with me in detail about ways to prevent water seepage through my windows into the drywall (which I had been experiencing) - again not part of the original deal. It all went really well. After we Ok'd the estimate via e-mail and electronic signing, he said the roofers would be coming later that day, and they did. They seemed to do a complete and detailed job; were very professional and completed the job that afternoon. As per the estimate they cleaned up all their materials. The roof looks great; we haven't experienced a torrential rain storm yet, but we feel really confident that our roof is fixed and we can get on with life. We were very impressed with this company and would call them again if we have any future roof issues.

My husband and I woke up one morning to a leaky cracked skylight with pieces of our ceiling on top of us. Roofer 911 was able to come out that same day and quickly arrived about 30 minutes after I called them. Because heavy rains were expected the next day throughout the weekend, Roofer 911 was able to order a new skylight and rearrange their schedule and install the new skylight the very next morning.

Once he arrived, he aimed his device at the suspected leakage area, explained how his device worked and said we had no leaks. The task was completed in 5 to 7 minutes. He service saved me from having called somebody who wasn't as experienced, and billing billed for service I didn't need.

Excellent experience. After a huge storm we noticed water leaking into the kitchen from a recessed light. Upon inspection, I found a leak in the base of the stove hood vent. I filled out an online estimate form for Roofer911 and attached a picture of the vent hood. Within minutes I received an estimate with a complete description of work to be performed. The owner ensured that the repair went beyond a quick patch job to include new shingles...and scheduled me for the very next day. 2. Work: Crew showed up at 0700 (I did not request a time slot as I was already going to be home) and explained in detail what they were going to do with an estimate of how long t would take. Completed work then asked me to inspect it and explained what was actually done. 3. Price: Excellent....any other roofing company that does not specialize in emergency repairs will charge $350 for a service call, and will take 4 to 7 days to schedule your appointment. My roof will need to b replaced in the next 3 to 4 years, but in the meantime it is good to know that there is a company that is just as happy to repair a roof (at a reasonable cost) as they are to replace one.

When he gave me the bid and said if went went foraward and paid $1100, he would deduct the $99 of the deal. He gave mesolutions on fixing it but also said I would get a new roof at $7000. He used infrared light to see the problem and said it shows what the problem is.

Job went well; however I have no way of judging cost vs job done. Leaks did stop.

A carpet cleaner told me he thought I had some sort of water leak into the carpet in my dining room. He based this on some discoloration in the carpet. I called Steve at Roofer911, whom I had used previously, and he was at my house in less than 3 hrs to check for the leak. Much to my relief, after he used his infrared equipment and moisture sensor on the walls and windows, he determined there was absolutely no water leak. Steve is always very professional, thorough, and personable. I will use him again if I ever have a suspected problem and highly recommend him to other Angie's List members.

If you need a leak fixed asap, Steven is your guy. The turnaround time was very fast. His estimate was detailed and contained photographs showing exactly what was going to be done. I didn't get other estimates at the time, so I don't know how his price would have compared to others. We have not had any problems with the repaired areas since. Overall, the process was smooth and painless.

Roofer 911 were awesome! I would definitely use them again, but hope I don't ever have to. It turns out that over the winter a few shingles flew off our roof, but we didn't really notice until the spring rains came. Yesterday morning we woke up to rain, both inside and outside the home. We had some drip, drip, drip going on in our bedroom, so I went about calling some numbers on Angie's list. Roofer 911 were the most responsive by far. All the other roofers on Angie's list were tied up, and couldn't help me until a week later. I wanted to get the repair done right away, and here's what happened: - got an immediate call back with a prompt appointment a few hours later - roofer did an in-house inspection with IR scanner, showing me where water was - we could not get a direct line-of-sight to the problem walking around the house - we went back to my alley and the roofer took hi-res pictures of the roof - the pictures were analyzed back in an office setting, and missing shingles were discovered - an estimate was sent to me with pictures of the problem and a plan to fix it - I agreed, a workman showed up and did the job (in the rain!), and the repair was completed Very happy!

I came home and noticed that small pieces of shingles had been blown off of our roof. I called Steve who had great recommendations on Angie's list. He immediately answered his phone and he delivered! He came to our home on that Saturday within two hours of my call, checked out whether there were any leaks via equipment (thankfully none yet), and assessed what needed to be done. He explained that the main issue was on the ridge of the roof over the deck where there was a vent underneath that could yield leakage problems if it rained, as that was where those pieces of shingles were coming from. The vent pipe flanges also needed replacement and a shingle needed to be replaced. He took pictures, called me back soon after he left and explained what he recommended to solve the problem, and had an estimate on my desk within another hour or so. His crew came out the next day, a Sunday. They were late so I called Steve, and he immediately answered. His crew then promptly called me and gave me an estimate of their revised arrival time. They got the work done quickly and provided me with pictures of what was done. Both were native Spanish speakers so we had a bit of back and forth when I was talking to them. One of them, though, spoke English well enough to answer my questions. Both men were extremely courteous, nice, and hard working. All work was completed to my satisfaction and our roof is fixed! This kind of quick and efficient service is just what was needed. Steve, by the way, is one of the most responsive people I have ever worked with. Kudos to him for staying on top of his business and delivering excellent customer service!

The entire experience was excellent! During the night, the roof started leaking into a bedroom. I phoned Roofer911 at 9am and left a message. Steve returned my call within minutes. Steve was at my house by 11am to inspect the damage and give me an estimate. He did a thorough inspection by using infra-red technology inside, and by climbing to the roof on the outside. His estimate was detailed and included pictures of the damage. I understood exactly what the problem was and exactly how the problem was going to be fixed. All paperwork, signatures and payment were handled electronically. By 4pm the roof was repaired. A timely repair was important to me because more rain was in the forecast. I found Roofer911 to be knowledgeable, professional, and prompt.

He checked everything out, explained what was causing the leak and what exactly would be done to fix it. His crew were here about 4 hours later, and when they left, everything was perfectly clean. In addition to replacing the ridge vent, his crew did a complete inspection of my roof, which was an unexpected bonus. Their courtesy and professionalism were top-notch. Wow, wow, wow. It's rare that you find a company with such outstanding customer service. Steven, the owner, came out to look at two suspected leaks. We have a hybrid roof (shingle on original roof and metal on a later addition). They don't typically service metal roofs but Steven graciously agreed to come and take a look anyway. With his infrared tool, he was able to tell me that the leaks (evidenced by stains in two different places) were not severe and not actively wet, but of course need to be checked out and fixed. He was polite, very knowledgeable, and, as other Angie's List members also mentioned, very honest. He sent back his foreman, James, the next morning. James got up on the roof and swiftly identified the two issues, one being inadequately/improperly installed flashing around our chimney and the other being worn out sealant around vent pipes. He provided us pictures of all the issues and walked through the solutions with us clearly and knowledgeably. They were able to complete the work on the same day and we thought the price was reasonable for the work. They even walked us through a few ideas regarding preventative maintenance we should be doing every few years to keep any future leaks from occurring. We will not hesitate to hire this company again if and when we need anything and will happily recommend them wholeheartedly to friends and other Angie's List members.
