Description of Work: Checked and cleaned gas fireplace. Removed and cleaned glass. Minor repairs. Unit had not been serviced in a long time. Work performed by Tracy Williams. She is professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Used her on recommendation from a former neighbor. I paid the basic minimum charge for Alexandria. Charge is somewhat lower if you are located closer to Manassas. Will definitely use them again for any future problems.

Description of Work: Although they took care of the issues they kept having to redo their work. The ceiling was damaged and ducting just kept coming apart. They did do the repairs but the whole experience was one where we paid to allow them to constantly push systems and services we didn't need. No I won't use them again. Don't get me wrong they performed the service but it seemed like their work force was minimum wage sales people instead of journeyman trades professionals....and it showed in the quality of work.

Description of Work: My gas fireplace had not been used for more than 3 years. It was turned back on, cleaned and new stones added. A remote system was installed and the wall switch fixed. |Worker/owner was friendly and professional. I will definitely use again.

Description of Work: We had a problem with a stuck valve on our gas fireplace after using the fireplace for many hours. The person on the phone told us we did not need a service call, that the valve was fine and will "seize up" when overheated. The fireplace has worked well since then. If we needed service in the future, we would call Williams again.

Description of Work: My telephone calls were promptly returned. In the day of my appointment, the owner, Tracy, called me at 10:45am to say she would arrive in an hour. She arrived 15 minutes late for my between 10:00 - 12:00pm appointment. She immediately introduced herself and removed her shoes which I appreciated. Tracy is friendly and she thoroughly cleaned my gas fireplace. She suggested I buy something called "goop" to remove a film on the fireplace glass cover. She didn't want me to think she didn't clean the glass. She repositioned the two logs because she said you're not supposed to see the pilot light. She cleaned and suctioned away dirt for about 20 minutes. I appreciated her advice and insight. I am pleased with her work.

Description of Work: I called to schedule a service call to fix the burners on my gas stove. I described the problem in an email. Tracy called me back the next day and I described again what the problems were. She suggested some things to check on my own I checked the things she recommended and fixed the problems without needing the service call. She could have scheduled the service call and charged me $156 for a very easy fix, but she walked me through the fix and saved me the money. Very considerate.
