Description of Work: Grout Medic was excellent. They did more than I expected and a beautiful job. Much better than the original builder. I would highly recommend this company. They are professional, friendly and courteous.

Description of Work: Had significant mold in old caulk around base of shower. All old caulk was removed and new caulk added which, according to Grout Medic, is less likely to become moldy or show dirt. So far, it is perfectly white and does not show any signs of mold or dirt.

Description of Work: Provided the service of regrouting and resealing a shower and resealing a tub. Very responsive and understanding when I had to delay the service for a few months. Came in and did a great job and punctual.

Description of Work: We hired Grout Medic to replace some tiles in a shower, regrout the shower bench, and recaulk the entire shower. The shower had leaked prior to purchasing the home and the previous owner had done very poor repairs that were likely to cause new problems. | |The work done by Grout Medic was perfect in the sense that I believe they addressed the structural problems - bad tiling and wrong materials used to seal tiles. I am confident that the repairs will last and will prevent further issues. | |I rated Grout Medic a B, however, because the work is not quite as meticulous as I might have expected, and because there was clearly a miscommunication about scheduling. | |The work is 100% functional, but some of the tiles do not line up perfectly. Also, the workman missed one section of caulking which I had to do myself. His caulking is not as smooth as when I do it - I would have expected a professional to be better than I am. | |As to the scheduling issue - I was originally told that the work would take about 2 hours. Grout Medic had to change out the person scheduled to do the work as the original repairman could not replace tiles. I presume that the time-frame should have also been amended at that time, because the job took 7 hours to complete. I did not plan for a 7-hour job, which then affected the plans I had for the rest of my day. | |So, the work is functional and addressed the main issue - potential for leaking. But the quality was a bit less than I expected.

Description of Work: The Grout Medic provided a fair estimate which I accepted and caame out on time and perform the work in a professionaal manner. After 30 days we are still happy with the work and if needed we will engage them in the future. If you need to get your tile repaired I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I was delighted to find the Grout Medic over the weekend on Angie's List. Like many, attempted to repair something, then realized the repair was well beyond my capacity. I spoke to Dana Collins first thing Monday morning and while I was advised that they were pretty heavily booked, she would see what she could do. Within a short period I was speaking with George Collins and within an hour and a half, he was at my doorstep trying to come up with a solution. As a rank amateur, I had visions of a total bathroom redo - George eased my nerves and told me it wasn't that bad and that it was fixable with not too much cost. He pointed out several more subtle problems and explained the long term impact if these cracks in my grout persisted. He thought maybe they were facing a tile installation delay on another project and thought their expert Charlie might be able to get to my house the next day at 7:30 AM (I think this is an exception to their normal schedule, but they really did try to find a solution for me). Charlie set about his work quickly, cleaned by tile, removed the old grout, put in new grout and placed a silicone bead in his repair of my tile in the shower/tub and the tile floor, plus touched up some kitchen tiles, all for a reasonable price. They arrived on time, delivered what they promised at the price they promised and explained the process as they went. They also discussed post repair care and left a written set of instructions and discussed the long term expectations if I followed their care guidance. George arrived at the exact same time Charlie did Tuesday morning to start the job. George returned mid-job to check in, thank me and make sure I was happy. They were thanking me, but I was the one who needed to be thanking them! They did a great job - dust was removed, the job is spotless and they were gone by 1PM, as they projected when they completed the bid. I was thrilled with the outcome and would hire them again at the drop of a hat.

Description of Work: The Grout Medics came on time and did a terrific job. They spent a good 7 hours replacing the grout and tiles looked like they were brand new after they finished. I would highly recommend them for any person looking to have their tiles regrouted.
