Description of Work: Replace grout around tub and all the ceramic tiles. The worker arrived on time worked for hours and when he was done cleaned up afterwards. The grout looked great we were very pleased.

Description of Work: Repaired caulking around shower tub and advised on and installed shower guards.

Description of Work: They replaced two bathroom floor tiles, Re did grout and caulk in two bathrooms. Both floors and bath/shower. They also applied caulk around kitchen counter top and along cabinets as requested. I was not with them but my husband was so wasn't sure what to expect but I was so surprised. It looked great. We were told the two tiles might not be exact matches and I was really worried about it but they were fine. They told us everything upfront making me feel comfortable but still concerned because you know it will never look like new tile. Seeing it was better than ever expected. The bathrooms and kitchen were clearly professional and did not look like someone just tried to hide or clean up Someone else's mess. Definitely worth the money.

Description of Work: Contractor really botched installing Italian glass tile for kitchen backsplash. Took 3 days to install only 22 sq ft and still left me with unfinished tile job. Didn't seal glass tiles before grouting and peeled off protective stickers too early in the process. This left my tile embedded and in some cases completely covered in grout that was quickly setting up like cement. There was no way to remove the grout. Contractor also left kitchen in complete mess with grout and dust all over the place. After trying for 2 days to remedy the situation myself (because contractor didn't want to come back for months!) I called Grout Medic for help. George came out to inspect. Sent Dante the next day. Dante told me how contractor didn't install properly and why it was such a mess. Because of the type of tile and it being very expensive, no chemical could be used or it would damage the tile. He used steam and a nylon brush to remove most of the grout that was covering up the tile. Dante worked hard and patiently for 4 hrs. He did a great job. It looked so much better, but because 5 days had passed since the disaster started, the only way to finish removing the grout without damaging the tile was to hand chisel the remaining grout with toothpicks. I followed Dante's instruction and it took me a week of 4-5 hrs at a time to hand chisel the grout, but I got most of it out. Dante informed me of the best and safest way to clean my Italian glass tile which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I have many tiles that are permanently damaged as a result of the contractor I hired not knowing how to properly install such tile. The tiles were scratched during the grouting process because the tile wasn't sealed first and the protective stickers were not left on like they should have been. Grout Medic could not help with that. Damage already done. Dante did an amazing job to help save my new tile. I would highly recommend them. And, he left my kitchen clean!

Description of Work: They regrouted our tile floor in a hall bathroom. It looks brand new. Much better than a total replacement.

Description of Work: They repaired some loose grout in a shower. Arrived on time, did all of the work requested, cleaned up work area, and were happy that I took the time to inspect the work performed.

Description of Work: The owner showed up, talked me through the work and estimate, took photos for "before" and made an appointment for the work. The worker showed up on time, pleasant and friendly and very very tidy. the work was done earlier than I expected and it looked BEAUTIFUL. I felt as if I had a new bathroom. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: A sales rep came to tell us what would be done. We were to be e-mailed with final confirmation and had to call to confirm the time. Tech had called in sick and we planned to reschedule. They called back to say they were wrong about being sick and he would be coming. Came and told us that not all the spots would be removed. The rep had not mentioned this. Maybe we were expecting too much from the service, but did not see much change.

Description of Work: Dante repaired cracked grout and replaced caulking in two bathrooms. He did a professional job, even taking care of new issues he saw during the repair process that was not observed by the estimator. His positive attitude and professional demeanor were refreshing to see. Dante's workmanship was perfection. We are already planning on hiring them again for some bathroom upgrades.

Description of Work: They replaced the twenty plus year old caulk around my bathtub/shower. They were very diligent and thorough. They were also a bit quicker time wise then they estimated to complete the job. I am happy with the work.

Description of Work: Initially, great service but follow-up for shower area grout replacement has been bad...grout replacement is of doubtful quality.....followed contractor directions in drying after shower but grout used is not good......

Description of Work: They removed and replaced existing caulk and grout in the kitchen and masterbath. | |The technician, Dante, was very nice and professional. He explained what he was doing and why. He cleaned up any debris from the caulk and grout removal and left the work areas very tidy. Although I thought the price was a bit high, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Retiled shower stall. The guys were punctual (allowing for NOVA traffic), did a good job, and left the area clean.
