They were timely, responsive and the place was clean after they were done. I decided to go with them becuase of price and you felt like you do business with this guy, some of the others weren't honest.

The job went well. Reliable rails promptly responded to my inquiry and completed the job in one (cold) day.

Owner visited and measured the day after I phoned. Installer arrived 5 business days later. Installer was very careful to place everything exactly where I wanted it and exactly level. Took time to make sure everything was exact. He cleaned up nicely after drilling into concrete and brick. Everything looks great, and navigating the steps to my home is now safer.

Lawrence and Bina were fantastic to work with. They were professional, personal and were able to work to a very challenging schedule we set in order to have the work done in time for a party. Lawrence was able to make suggestions and work with me to create the look we wanted, but were having trouble describing. They took out the old wooden railing and manufactured the new horizontal and vertical pieces, and even took the time to fix another railing installed incorrectly by another contractor. Their work looks fantastic and we would absolutely recommend them and use them again for another project.

Great Job! We had a wrought iron railing that had come loose due to rusted posts. Gina provided an estimate within an hour and the post were replaced, painted, and reattached to the concrete steps the next day. Very professional job, looks better than the original installation by the builder.

Reliable Rails was excellent. They were quick to respond via email and phone and even did the work ahead of schedule. Lawrence was extremely professional and a very nice guy overall. The finished product looks great and works exactly like we wished. I highly recommend them for any rail work needed.

This was an ordeal for us. We were threaten by the city regarding our front landscaping project. We had weather issues that caused the slow down. Mr. Giles would call and check in. He came out an did the measurements. We finally metl Dec 1st to finalize the design Install will be complete in two weeks. We are so excited Thank You Angie's List

Better than new. In and out without any fuss. I contacted them via Angie's list, then exchanged a few emails and phone calls to set a date. They were very flexible. Work was performed during the day, not requiring anyone to be present... great for our busy August weeks. I wish more businesses could take a queue from Reliable Rails. We would use them again.

Lawrence was very knowledgable and personable. He measured the stairs and provided the quote quickly. The installation went well, too.

They measured the porch when they created the estimate. They then manufactured the custom railings. After arranging a time when I could be available, they installed the railings. All the work was completed to my satisfaction.

I had a rush order for custom nail-plates. I chose Reliable Rails because of their reviews. Bina was kind and professional and put me through to her shop foreman to see if he could do the job. I drove to their shop on Monday and Tony (the shop foreman) said that they could do the job and that I could most likely pick them up on Tuesday. I called around 10:30am on Tuesday to check the status of the plates and they were already done! When I picked them up on Tuesday afternoon, one of the welders at the shop offered to carry them out to my car. An excellent experience all around! Very happy!

I recently had a brick patio and stoop installed in my backyard. I wanted an iron railing for the stoop and my masonry contractor recommended Reliable Rails. I contacted them by phone and Lawrence came out on the following Saturday to provide me with a quote. I also needed an existing railing reset as it had come loose. I placed the order and although it took several weeks to complete, it was well worth the wait. The repair was professionally done and the new rails looked gorgeous. I recommend Reliable Rails without reservation.

Mr. Lawrence showed up on time and gave an estimate. He was on time and professional and his wife Bina always gets back to you as soon as you contact her. He installed a nice hand rail and guard rail for my basement stairs.I highly recommend Mr.Lawrence.

Lawrence and Bina are great! We choose them based on Angie's List reviews. Lawrence came out to do the estimate soon after we first called. We needed railings on each side of the front stoop. We were demoing and installing a new concrete stoop that was going to be the same size of the original one, but he came out to re-measure after it was poured to ensure it was the right size. We wanted a specific look and sent a picture which they were able to match perfectly. They also line-itemed everything out so we could choose between different styles and finishes and know how much each one would cost. The installers were nice guys and they were quick and efficient. Our one complaint was that they didn't call us the night before to let us know they were coming. My roommate got a call at 7:30am to let us know they were on their way. Luckily, she is a school teacher so she was off and able to stick around for the install. I'm sure this was just a rare oversight.

Our front entrance entails 2 wide steps from the front door, followed by about 7 much narrower steps to the sidewalk. Given the differences in width, design was a challenge. However, Laurence, owner of Reliable Rails, came up with the perfect solution--both practical and attractive. The company worked with me to ensure the work was done in a timely and professional manner and that the rails would be installed before my 90-year-old mother's return from a stay in rehab. Everyone I dealt with at Reliable Rails was consistently helpful. Bina, Laurence's wife and Office Manager, graciously accepted numerous phone calls from me and helped with questions and with coordinating the entire process. The crew who installed the rails did so without disturbing existing plants and thoroughly cleaned up after completing the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for iron railings...the experience was a positive one from start to finish.

Lawrence came by to look at them, then dropped off samples of baked on finishes, I selected the finish and his folks picked up the railings. They were returned when promised with a beautiful new finish and reinstalled. The workmen even found a perfect match in the color to cover the screws that hold the railing in place on my hardwood floors. A gentleman and his wife run the company. The service was phenominal. They asked for pictures, and the owner came out himself to understand what I wanted done -- I appreciated that. He also wanted to see what my neighbors had to match. This company's price was significantly lower than everyone else's. The railing is beautiful and I love it!

When have you ever called a company who came in a couple of days, e-mailed you the estimate the next day, made the railings and installed them all in a week and a half! It has never happened to me before, and I must say I was extremely pleased with the staff, installer and the quality of the railings plus the installation. I especially asked for an extra bar in the middle of the railings for my small granddaughter, which the company did perfectly. I don't know if they are considered expensive as I never called any other company, since they were recommended by a company I trusted. I don't mind paying extra for such a quality and pleasant experience.

Lawrence and Bina were very pleasant to deal with. The railing looks great and was professionally installed. It was expensive but I understand that is par for the course and the railing will last for a long long time.

I contacted Reliable Rails becaues they had done a small job for me in the past. I was interested in installing over 500 ft of aluminum fencing, a large job that would probably cost $10,000. I set a time for my estimate. Laurence, the owner, called and asked me to reschedule which I was happy to do. I understand things happen and times may need to change. We met one week ago, discussed the job, and Laurence measured the property. I was in a time crunch due to the fact that my builder had a schedule to meet and we could not hold him up for the fence. Laurence assured me I would have a quote by the end of the weekend. So I figured I would give him until end of day Monday or even early Tuesday. No one likes to work on the weekend. And I waited. Nothing on the weekend. Nothing on Monday. Nothing on Tuesday. I called the office and the person who answered the phone, I believe it is Laurence's wife, told me she would contact him and he would get back to me right away. It's Friday evening and still no calls or emails. I checked my junk and spam folders just to be sure. I hate the lack of respect this shows. My time is as valuable as anyones and I wasted time with Laurence when I could have had another company come out. Laurence seems like a nice guy but I can't do business with anyone who shows this lack of customer service. I welcome a response from Un-Reliable Rails. Sorry, I couldn't resist throwing that in there. UPDATE - Response to Reliable Rails comments: I am sorry to hear of your loss. As I mentioned above, I spoke with a person on the phone five days after my estimate and was told the owner would be back in touch with me that day. There was no mention of a situation that would have prevented an estimate from being given or a follow up contact being made. Had that person (I believe the owners wife) simply told me that there was a problem I would have certainly understood and not given this review. Due to this circumstance, if you are interested, I would be willing to give you the opportunity to submit your proposal for consideration as I have not yet selected a contractor for this job.

It was very good. We were very pleased. They took care of what they needed to do efficiently. The quality of work was excellent.

My husband and I purchased a black aluminum fence and gate for our resident at Morse Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. by Reliable Rails. We have no complaints. The job was professionally done. We highly recommend Reliable Rails.

Working with Reliable Rails was a pleasure! I received a quote and follow up call from Bina within hours of having someone out to measure and discuss railing options. While turnaround time is usually about 2 -3 weeks, we experienced some installation delays due to the ridiculous winter weather. I felt comfortable with the RR team and have no doubt that if it had not been snowing in late-March they would have installed earlier. Once the snow finally cleared, Lawrence called immediately to schedule install for the next business day. Install was done beautifully and we are in love with our new railings. It was a pleasure working with Lawrence and Bina and I highly recommend them.
